I found the tickets today for the first concert my husband and I went to see. It was the Boss Bruce Springsteen 7th of July 1988. He was on the stage for four hours solid. It was an amazing night in Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪. You’re definitely enjoying the Boss 👍👏
I’ve been to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street. band in concert more times than I can count. He is definitely my favorite artist in concert because it’s a 4 hour party from beginning to end.
I hope you enjoyed this one, I did! The tall blonde guy on stage with Bruce is Sting who is the lead singer for The Police. This was their 1988 Human Rights Tour and this concert happened to be in Venezuela. Not sure how many people I love seeing them jump up and down in unison. Watched it all, thanks for a great reaction!
Haven’t seen this for so long, thank you! Great to see it and loving your reactions to Bruce live. More live Bruce stuff please! He’s one of the best live acts of all time
Back in the day there was no concert like Bruce’s!! He’d stay on stage longer then anyone I’ve ever seen ! ( and I saw so so many concerts) He’s just a fun fun show to see
Time magazine did a cover story on Bruce back in 1975 at the same time as Newsweek. I saw the band twice in the 70's. Outstanding shows, easily 3+ hours.
The Isley Brothers orginally ded this song in 1962. The Beatles then made this song popular when they came on the screen. I think you would bery much enjoy watching these two versions also, and see the difference between the three. Thanks again for your channel!!!
My favorite Bruce concert was the one I attended while I was working at the American Embassy in East Berlin. This was before the Wall fell. BS a visa that expired at midnight which meant he had to get back to West Berlin before then. He gave such a phenomenal concert that NO ONE wanted to end and he kept playing and playing and playing and playing. Despite being told that he had end the concert and get back across the border he kept playing. He finally ended it and managed to get across about 1 minute before the visa ran out.
HEY -- so you need to check out Sting. You already know the Police (Roxanne, Every Breath You Take). Try Sting -- An Englishman in New York and If I Ever Lose My Faith in You. But here's a crazy thing -- both Sting & Springsteen played a tribute song at each other's inductions into the Kennedy Center Honors. You should do a reaction where you listen to both. Springsteen sung Sting's song at Sting's Kenny Center Honors in 2014 -- "I Hung My Head", and then when Springsteen was inducted the following year, Sting played Bruce's song The Rising for him. It's a testament to a friendship that's lasted for nearly 40 years -- and this video was 30 years earlier, when they were still young in their friendship. :)
I've been to dozens (probably more) of shows since 1976. Had tickets everywhere from the last row in the cheap seats to the pit. His crowd connection and control is the same no matter where your seat is. Not that you'll be sitting in it anyway. :-)
Adogg,so glad you reacted to this. I have seen him 15 times and he brings this type of energy every time. He is one of the best ever live ,you cant go wrong watching any video of him live believe me: Please do his "Light of Day from NYC" here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/0QWhPWBJPik/v-deo.html IT"S A REAL MIND BLOWER....
Boy! I love Bruce Springsteen... the Boss! I have a few new groups for you to give a listen. "Alison Krauss & Union Station - The Lucky One" and "Brad Paisley - Whiskey Lullaby ft. Alison Krauss (official Video)'" both of these are country, however, Alison's music is more under the genre of bluegrass. And I'm going to suggest another video that's a rare gem with three Legends performing together "Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt & Emmylou Harris - The Sweetest Gift"
Wasn't impressed, to me these weren't for him. The Beatles had Twist & Shout early 60s. La Bamba originally by Richie Valens late 50s. He didn't use words because it was done in Spanish. Both were much better by the original. Bruce had many good songs. IM GOING DOWN, RADIO NOWHERE, HUNGRY HEART, GLORY DAYS and more.
I'm not impressed that you're not impressed, this performance is a pure 'live' Bruce Springsteen fun song! You're also saying he didn't sing the words to La Bamba because they were in Spanish yet Bruce speaks Spanish to the crowd countless times in this video! 😂 This performance was pure fun and enjoyment, it wasn't supposed to be better than the originals!

Been to a few Bruce concerts.. you walk out feeling a good 10 years younger. Fun stuff.
Bruce's concerts are always full of crowd participation. He enthusiasm is so infectious! It's not unusual for the concerts to last 4 hrs.

SAME!!!!
You always get every penny worth at his concerts. He is so entertaining energetic and mesmerizing you have to join in

It was NOT Venezuela, it was @ the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina (Oct. 15, 1988)

The best and passionate crowds in the world are always in South America
La Bamba is a Latino song that has been around for many many generations that was made popular in the 1950's by Richie Valens.
Bruce you the boss.Love that voice and the energy
He’ll yeah 👍👍
Rosalita or Jungleland are two songs you must watch live
4 hour shows and still the energy is amazing
Last night of tour. Sting, Peter Gabriel, and other headliners and Amnesty promoter raided Bruce’s dressing room and came out in his clothes as goof.
I've always liked him. He's sure slowed down now. Wish I had a dollar for every person there!
Saw him in Birmingham Alabama ten years ago. I didn’t sit down the whole time!
Sting, Peter Gabriel, Youssou N'Dour
Another great live moment is Bruce doing "Rosalita" - ua-cam.com/video/jlsBJxH1CWg/v-deo.html
The River
I love how much you enjoyed this.
I was there!!!...first row!!!...chears from Uruguay!!!
Love your appreciation, and enthusiasm! 💕
That man is a born performer! I'd listen to him sing about my taxes & not even realize it. I doubt there's anything he can't do

Just a girl standing in the middle of a field. Would love if you would do a reaction of...
David Allen Coe
You Never Called Me By Name !
You have to do a video for No More Tears by Ozzy Osborne.
I have another band I think you will like.
Gorillaz.

"Were" not "Was".. You're subliterate.
