  • This is my review of the Stihl battery hand held leaf blower. The BGA 86, the BGA 100 and the BGA 200. The BGA 86 is my own machine and BGA 100/200 was sent to me by Stihl which I have now returned. For the official run times please go to Stihl website where all relevant run times are available. #Stihl #batterypower #batterygardentools

    Great Video We recently went to a Stihl RMA 443vc for our smaller mower after beating the life out of a swiftgarden 120v mower for a few years but couldn't run any longer due to lack of spares and customer service, So far the Stihl has been amazing running it on a 300s battery it kicks the hell out of our Husqvarna lc353ivx. I have been looking to expand our Stihl range since having the 443vc but we have nowhere around me that really carries the range of battery stuff that we would want to see and use before we buy, seeing your video really helps, as I think blower is the next thing to get ,then onto the RMA 453 PV if we can find a place to try one first

      Cheers mate, the 100 is a very nice blower and more powerful than I expected, have you tried the 86 or 200.

      Most definitely, gives you so much control, power is important, but also being able to back off the power is too.

    Hi mate, how are you? I’ve got the 200 and love it, does everything I need it to do.
    I’m not sure with the 200 you tested, but mine has a spring lever catch under the blower tube to extend it out an extra 150 mm. Great review as usual. Keep up the good work.
    Cheers, Stoney…🍻

      Yes mate, I totally missed it out, as very difficult to squeeze so much information in, in a sensible time, the 200 is a beast of a blower, I was quite shocked how much power it had
      Cheers mate 👍

    I have the BGA 86 along with other Stihl AP battery running machines.
    The machines are great no question about, but the batteries are Gold priced and fall way short for the machines in a commercial use intend.

    lets try them on some wet leaves to see how they work, im waiting on your hsa 100 hedge trimmer review. have you any updates on it so far?

    • @jasongardener3425
      @jasongardener3425  Рік тому

      Iv used the bga86 on wet leaves throughout winter and no problem, so would imagine the 100 and 200 would cope fine too, probably even better.
      The hsa100, is sooo quiet and feels nice to use, but only got about 10 hours on it so far, but now the real trimming has started and hopefully a video in October/November time.

    How do these compare to the 2 stoke models are they equally as powerful? I have 50m x 50m car park to keep tidy and I can’t make up my mind if I’m better with electric or 2 stroke.. I’d personally prefer electric if it’s as good as?

    I have the BGA 200 and it's perfect for around the house; from autumn leaves clearing to cleaning the paved yard in front of the garage; I would not say it's overkill, only that the poor battery gets sucked dry rather fast :D at high power settings.

    • @jmljml5065
      @jmljml5065 9 місяців тому +1

      Approximately how long will the AP300S last using the BGA 200? Without using boost?

    • @irionpleione8312
      @irionpleione8312 9 місяців тому +1

      @@jmljml5065 ; not very long. It's enough to clean the leaves of 1 grown up walnut tree; while I bag the leaves the battery gets recharged. (I forgot from last year how long it lasts in minutes; also, you switch between two strongests settings. If you have two such batterries you can work without interruption. The boost drains the 300S battery at once; if you need that blow power get a petrol version = cheaper than the more expensive batteries (500; backpack).

    This is very useful. I'm a bit disappointed that Stihl didn't let you keep the blowers. After all, they cost Stihl almost nothing, because they're nearly all made in China. Well, every one I've seen here in Australia was made there.

    • @jmljml5065
      @jmljml5065 Рік тому

    Must be affiliated in some way to Stihl, why else would they send them to you?
    These blowers are for California compliance. Nothing else
    For the rest of the country, gas is the best option.
