- STIHL BGA 86 BATTERY BLOWER.
I have been very impressed with this little blower. Having the option to use either an AP battery, or an AR battery has been very useful.
It is fantastic for helping with clearing hedge clippings, and for whipping around just to tidy up the mess after strimming.
I hope you enjoy this video.
Very powerful, easy to use and comfortable to operate cordless blower. Perfect for professional use in large, urban areas. For removing leaves and dirt. 50% more blowing power than the BGA 85 and with a reduced weight. Round nozzle, soft handle, three-setting length-adjustable blower tube. Flat nozzle for increased air speed available as an accessory. For long periods of use, we recommend the AR backpack battery.

Thanks for a great presentation ! Having watched it I decided to buy the BGA86 and I must admit I'm reallly pleased with the results. I also bought a flat nozzle which lenghtened the operating time on one battery. Thanks again and good luck ! And of course ... stay in good health !
😀 That is great to hear. enjoy your new machine & wishing you good health too.
BRILLIANT video. That is why I am going to buy that blower for my gardening business. Stay safe.
😀 Cool.
Thank you for watching 👍
Thanks for the review ☺️ I bought one and it works like a dream
2018 Ford Raptor 😀 That is great to hear - Thank you for watching
Sold my petrol one and went to look at these. The stihl shop out a battery in the demo one and blew it against my hand. Let’s say I I was “blown” away and instantly bought one.
Interesting video! 👍 When you mentioned ‘cruise control’ I realised that that’s exactly what I’m missing on mine - love having a variable speed option, but would love to be able to lock that in. Cheers dude!
Niall Gardens 😀 It is such a simple - but very useful feature to have. Thank you for watching 👍
I was sceptical of battery power.....after using the HLA- 56 long reach hedge trimmer for a day and some on one AP300 battery.....converted no noise or stink ! & light Brilliant 😎 just ordered up BGA 86 blower and RLA 240 Scarifier to add to my kit. Good videos cheers 👍
The battery machines really are a pleasure to use. Enjoy your new kit & thank you for watching 😀
Looks like a great bit of kit..
Such a handy bit of kit 😀 Thank you for watching
Useful review 👍
Have just been looking at this as my bga 85 is getting old now
Great video, sympathetic and useful presentation (as always). Didn't like the music, though.
I ordered my BGA 86 today. :)
Lucas Krammer 😀 Thank you. Music is always going to be love - hate thing.
I'm a petrol head but the BGA 86 blows me away by the time you start a petrol machine and get it on your back jobs done
Kevin Bushell It is a useful bit of kit 😀
We want one!
Can't believe it's leaf season already 😥
Loved the editing pal, where do you find your inspiration for such special effects 😜
The Country Cottage Gardener Summer seems to have gone in a flash this year! Although still a very busy time of year - I always get that feeling of the weight of summer being lifted off my shoulders. I feel I can walk a little slower at this time of year, but still keep up 😀
How to get battery out o charger mod. Bga 57 .
Would you have any idea as to removing the battery that seems very stuck?
I have never had a battery get stuck. Is it possible that it was put in the wrong way round? You may need to loosen the bolts on the main body to release it.
Does it blow and suck? I'm after replacement for my Makita petrol.
it's only for blow-jobs :D
This is just a blower.
Hi, do I need the Ap 300s to use the maximum power? Like with the Msa 220.
No, you get full power with a normal AP300 battery. but the AP300s will give you longer runtime.
@@TheFullyChargedGardener What is the average run time on a AP300 battery
@@joshscott5416 not sure about "average" run time but the manufacturer's spec says up to 21 minutes
@@zane6505 "Up to" is very variably. Alldepends on how you use it.
Great video what trousers are those fella
Hi, They are the HS multiprotect Hedge Trimmer trousers.
Thank you for watching
Would this be Ideal for commercial use
I work for my city and we have 2 of these. So far, they are perfect for blowing off entrances without creating too much noise and emissions, as well as having to pull a cord. They are good for commercial use.
looks brilliant tool, what's the realistic battery life for an AP300, can you get 20 minutes off of it?
Harry Short We have been getting pretty good battery life from it - most of the work we have been doing has not required constant full power. I could do a run time test if you like?
@@TheFullyChargedGardener yes same here wouldn't be constant full power for me wither. That would be great when you have the time. Thanks
@@TheFullyChargedGardener was this test done in the end? I’d love to know the results
@@TheFullyChargedGardener what is the best battery for this model? I want to buy this one :)
@@AnelisaBelchior Hi, We use the AP300s batteries in ours.
Thank you for watching.
Good vid,how does it compare with the older bga85 model,is it more powerfull or more balanced? The 85 give me elbow pain and falls over a lot 😁
David Hamilton It has 50% more power. It has far better ergonomics, and balance - a very different machine 😀
@@TheFullyChargedGardener just what i wanted to here,thankyou.
I relented and bought one, not sure what battery thinking 300S
I use the AP 300s in ours 👍
@@TheFullyChargedGardener Totally loving it but my OAP mother cant push the batteries home, any tips on making it easier?
considering you have the BGA 200 I can hardly see the reason to use this one :D
Irion Pleione 😀 With the varied tasks we have in the gardens, and often short a short widow to get things done before a wedding. One member of staff can be using this - while another, using the larger blower in another area. And don’t even talk to me about wedding confetti. You can never have enough blowers to help with clean up of that stuff lol
@@TheFullyChargedGardener , in other words, you push a blower into every hand that is available or passing by :D :))) therefore you need also something more civil that doesn't blow off the blower :))) for confetti I'd advise the BR800-it should provide a film grade scene... :D
Just got one and it cuts out every 5 seconds, fuming
It will be covered under warranty. Take it to your dealer and they will be able to help. It doesn’t matter what you buy, or who you buy it from. There will always be issues.
@TheFullyChargedGardener yeah your 100% right its just a little frustrating as I had to order it in at my local distributors and had to wait nearly a month for it to arrive.
@@stevehiggins1263 I hope you manage to get it fixed soon. Thank you for watching
