Hey guys - if you’ve seen the news today, a big earthquake hit Japan and there’s currently tsunami hitting too. So far the TC team seems to be safe, but stay safe out there 😔🙏
Stay safe!
Stay safe guys. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope that Natsuki and his family are ok 🙏. Sending lots of love and hugs 🤗
Hey guys stay safe. Just hoping Natsuki's OK in Sakata.
Hope that everyone stays safe!
Sending safe wishes to the people in Noto and west coast areas impacted. Thank you for the video and the pin about the earthquake as well.
Eating ice cream during winter is one of my favorite things to do! It’s so nice cause you get to actually enjoy them instead of racing to eat them before they melt in summer 😅
Exactly!!! 😁
These two are perfectly chaotic and I love them for it.
Emma and Sarah together, let’s gooooo!
You should all do a staff bucket list series. You've all been to so many places that the bucket list items are more likely to be less commonly publicised tourist options
A kotatsu is one of the things I didn't know I missed about Japan until you brought it up. After I moved to the US, I grew up in a region known for it's beaches and mild weather so it never came to mind as something I missed when growing up. I LOVED napping under it as a kid.
Kotatsu are the BEST!
I love Emma and Sarah so much, I wish I could be part of their friendship group 🥰
Sending ❤ to everyone in Japan 🇯🇵 I hope you are all okay 😢
New content idea: Tales from Japan! Sitting under a Kotatsu on a tatami old shool fashion. Every episode there is a special guest. For example you speak about samurai and we get to see an expert in authentic samurai outfit. I would love to see such episodes.
Ach ja Lebkuchenhaus nennt man glaube ich Gingerbreedhouse. Besser als Haus mit roten Ziegeln :p
🎍Happy New Year! 🎍
Happy new year!
Prayers all of you remain safe.
Thank you for starting 2024 with more amazing content! Also, thank you for the update on the TC Team. Japan and all who call it home live in our hearts. Take care!
My FAVOURITE duo! 😁💞
Agree with Sarah that Kusatsu is great and well worth a visit! ♨️
Love watching emma and sarah, so vibey 🎉
明けましておめでとう!Winter is hiaaaaa! I love, love, LOVE your videos!
Just bought my tickets for next December. Now just have to fill three weeks worth of adventures.
I saw the news about the BIG earthquake...I hope everyone is okay and stay safe!
I used to live in Alaska and there is a saying “ know where you find bear bells, in bear poop “ 🤭
Happy New Year Sarah and Emma. ❤❤. Hope your safe 😭. Devastating start to 2024
Happy new year Tokyo Creative! I wish you an awesome 2024 filled with joy and adventure and also I heard about the earthquakes, I'm praying for the team's safety and hoping everything will be ok 🙏
Happy New Year Both 🎉🥳
Happy new year!!
It looks all so esthetically amazing, but as i gotta drive every day to work..i got this special relationship with snow....
The winterfoods on the other hand, i would even eat a dang hearty stew in summer
Happiest New Year Emma and Sarah!
Thank you so much Tokyo Creative for all the amazing and varied content you have produced this year. I only found/subscribed to your channel this year and I always look forward to your videos. I wish you all a prosperous 2024 and I look forward to adding more videos to my Japan Wishlist (which is growing and growing 😂) ❤
Thank you for supporting us throughout 2023! We look forward to sharing more Japan content for you this year! 😆
asked Dr Google: oshiruko refers to a smooth red bean soup, while zenzai refers to soups made with whole beans or with a coarser texture. Happy New Year! Thank you for another great video.
TC always comes in clutch!
Whenever I'm feeling down .. BOOM - TC has a new vid.
I mean that in a VERY positive way.
Thanks everyone. Thank you thank you thank you.
Can we just acknowledge the long rabbit sweater?
Yuzawa (Niigata Pref) 90mins on the Shinkansen, one stop before my wifes hometown Nagaoka and I think Japan's longest onland train tunnel.
Happy New Year!
Happy new year!
Expensive snow accommodation, gear hire and lift passes in Japan are still miles cheaper compared to Australia. Snow in Japan is unbeatable
Happy new year 🎉
this is actually super helpful, i'm planning a december trip to hokkaido as we speak
I have those mittens exactly from Tokyo Hands 5 years ago
It might be winter outdoors, but its still summer indoors and on the trains in Japan. Make sure your winter clothes are easily removable.
I wanna revisit Kinosaki in winter - the main attraction is actually the 7 public baths there, and most hotels will supply you with a free access pass to them. So after enjoying your own hotel, you can stroll around the town, enjoying a variety of differently styled baths. My dream is to visit Tsurunoyu onsen in winter, though - it looks so magical. There's a load of other interesting-looking ryokan in the Tazawako/Nyuto area, too... for snow festivals, I'd recommend checking out the Otaru Yuki Akari no Michi snow lantern festival, which is near Sapporo and is usually concurrent with that snow festival.
My husband and I are going to Kinosaki Onsen during our trip this spring. We are excited because all town onsens (7) are all tattoo friendly.
Karuizawa has such a special place in my heart, I spent 3 weeks there my first time in Japan.
We're jealous!
I would love ta see a video dedicated to the kotatsu, so far none of the japan-tubers I watch have done that (as far as I know)
I hope you are all safe. I heard about the earthquake.
I'll be heading to Sapporo in time for the Snow Festival.
💜💜💜
Hope the earthquake didn't effect you. Happy new year! Have a great 2024!
Take care TC team
👍👍
Happy new yeah emma and sarah . Hope you are okay .
12:34 a lemon party
NO JIM! BAD JIM! 😂
Well played 🍋
Hey guys! I just wanted to say, please don’t rely on bells to keep bears away from you. Many biologists call them “dinner bells” because the pitch of bells registers as sounding like a bird to a bear, making them more curious. Carry bear spray and learn how to use it, and make lots of noise with your voice.
I really want to check out Ginzan Onsen but ,can't seem to find a hotel or ryokan with availability or nearby. Am I just not looking in the right place?
Chris not looking so cozy on his journey through the ice
Would love to hear your clothing suggestions for winter travels (not skiing)
Depends on which part of Japan you visit.
North of Tokyo (Tohoku and such) you’re probably going to need a down jacket and experience some snow. For touristy places like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, layering up is smarter since public transport and stores/restaurants have heating on most of the time
@@TokyoCreativePlay Yeah, I cooked myself in Sapporo every time I went inside. Hence my question :)
I usually don't like the cold - but I've been to Hakone!!! It was beautiful. Happy New Year, Tokyo Creative Team! BIG FAN and long time follower.
I go to niseko every year and can confirm its awesome but my god every year my bank account cries
Damn man I feel like I never see Emma doing stuff anymore
Emma, that.... that was a kookaburra noise
Not sure if something is off with my headset but the pitch was a bit off in the audio. Otherwise great vid! :)
How’s Sydney😊

How are Sarah and Emma ever cold? Because they are such hotties! haha i crack myself up
monke
Kangaroo......
first
I wonder if this was before or after Emma had her boaurrrnes obliterated
Yes, Kusatsu is a very special place to me. By the way, why Emma is always so sarcastic and crude while Sarah's comments are always intelligent and pleasant. I think it is time that Emma left the channel as Aki did in the past. Too much negativity and criticism from them.
Happy New year . I hope everyone is ok. Emma I watch this show because of you . But on camera your hair looks oily . Is there anything you could do to change that ?
Another boring filler video of two people talking about places most viewers have never been to. This is not interesting content.
Let us know what kind of content you'd like to see from us!
2 favourite spots in Hokkaido, a restaurant in Sapporo on the top of the Moiwa Ropeway called The Jewels. Beautiful view at night. And second was at the Grand Hirafu Niseko ski resort, a restaurant called Abucha-2. If it's still there, you have to try their Zhangi chicken! It is the best.chicken.ever.
Edit: I checked and Abucha-2 permanently closed in March 2023. Devastated! If you can find and recommend some other good Zangi chicken spots in your visit that will be amazing.
Ayeeee
