Modelling a Curved Door Handle - Stage 1

This is video 1 of 2 on how to create a solid model of a curved door handle. This video shows you how to create the underlying curves beginning with a reference sketch and two sketch pictures. An overview of the modelling strategies involved is provided as well as showing you how to create the 3D projected curve from two spline based sketches. Creating the silhouette edge on the symmetry plane is also demonstrated.
