'Shape' is exactly the concept I (12k) find the hardest to understand in Go, and the one I really want to learn more about. Thank you very much, this is already very helpful. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
I am a double digit kyu player and I guessed not 1 but both shape points! Just intuitively. I can't read that well so it wasn't that. I must say I've been watching for a while and I have to thank you for any decency I have at the game.
3:36 I get that there's no eye there, but then a second later you say there is an eye with a different variation where black played 4 at P19 instead of Q19. But I don't understand why Q19 doesn't prevent the eye?
Even though I'm only 14k, I actually saw the move! Does this mean I'm a Dan player in disguise? Anyway, extremely useful video! Hope you have more in this series!
10:00 As a dan player, S3 seems more intuitive to me than R3 in this case, although it does seem to require much more reading, and I'm not sure if it works as well.

Right on time! Today I was thinking I needed to strengthen my shape reasoning
Damn he is so right the kyuu player spot he was talking about was exactly where i thought it should go. The path of Go is truly an arduous one lol
To become more like you would be an honor. Thank you for showing us your ways.
This video series is a great idea. Looking forward for next vids. Thank you
Love this style of video man, super concise, informative and easy to follow
the 1st part already inspired me very much! Thanks
Thanks for the video. Nice lesson about shape. Really useful.
At 23:44, white can extend to 4T first before capturing the two stones on the left, so 12 still doesn't work right?
Excellent stuff.
Thanks Nick ! Should be an interesting series , see you in the next one :>

Very informative 👍
Is P6 bad in the last example? I think that is usually a strong triangle shape? But maybe giving up on the corner too quickly?
I needed a good shape video series
Thanks!
The first is like 5 or 6 running gun battles!
At 8:02, can white push through at P5 now? It looks to me that it can, but I am not sure.
Can I get this version of GO on my iPhone
why empty triangle bad? i need more explanation with every shape other than just "bad"
Nick have you seen the review for King’s Forge done by Rahdo?!
Oh wow! I somehow missed this! And I met Rahdo five years ago at Essenspiel where we played a game of "Nations: The Dice Game" together
Wow that is so cool!
Totes did not see the attach move XD
Great video. Do more lectures on Shape!!!
The greenscreen fuzz was slightly distracting, but great video otherwise.
Sorry about that! I changed my WB settings and forgot to update the Chroma Key!
I would probably plau k7 😂
HOW TO MAKE 1 DAN IN 6 MONTHS THANK YOU
