    Dont dirty the game of Go again!
    Turned off history tracking algorithm and finally found your channel... Not that I didnt search for 'Go' but only got limited or uninteresting results. UA-cam recomended not great, your channel... The best presented English Go on youtube... as a beginner you offer accessible classes. Thankyou. Dont give up on promoting your channel... There are interested people out there😊

    It seems pretty important to mention how much damage black did to the right side at 35:40 as well. White is running without a friend, while Black loses a corner he never had anyway.

    1:02:18 really? Why doesn't white play B13? He would live probably, no running.

    Decided to run this 6:23 through Lizzie in 2020 and she thinks B18 is the correct move. Just putting this bit of info out for anyone curious.

    What are you doing uploading at this hour Nick?
    Edit: great lecture though. Someone should link it in sensei's library

    Thanks Nick! Best Patreon money I ever spent! Would you ever consider doing a Patreon level where you will review a game for the donation?

    • @NickSibicky
      @NickSibicky  6 років тому

      Hi Stephen! I have done this in the past when I first started on Patreon. But then my son was born and I had to make adjustments. C'est la vie.

    Hi Nick, Love the lecture. Was wondering if you are still planning on doing game reviews of 5k or so. I think these are really useful because a lot of the audience (5-15k) see moves that they play a lot and see the subsequent problems with them. Also maybe it’s time to look at some more takamiya? 😃

      Maybe to both questions! I don't tend to plan topics too far in advance, so anything is possible!

    use click-bait thumbnails to get more people into the (i)go tent, but just don't go too far.

    Would like to share your great channel and this venerable game with my kids without warning them to ignore the swearing. Not that it is anything like as bad as the video gaming channels

      Hi Ben- "Dwryin" tends to keep his content more G-rated and his lesson content is slightly better than mine. If you haven't discovered him yet, check him out!

    Ok now I have to comment. I'm not an american, from Europe here. Imagine someone made jokes with a Obama-Tombstone in a casual way a few years ago? This is not very smart play - just saying a little more empathy would really go a long way nowadays.

      Sure...but "Trump" is magical. Any mention of his name turns all heads and focuses all attention on him; good or bad. The social feedback loops and constant media obsession he generates are fascinating and harrowing.
