Mensa-fied best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, may be able to tell everybody more than they want to know about quantum physics, but getting through most basic social situations, especially ones involving women, totally baffles them. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. Frequently seen hanging out with Leonard and Sheldon are friends and fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?

I’m 27 and my parents also got together and had me later on. My my mom was also 38 and my dad was 43. My mom and I actually share a birthday the poor thing haha
I was 31 when my first son was born. I just turned 40 a couple weeks ago and am expecting my 3rd child in june
Pryia’s biggest problems: she was very manipulative and tried to change Leonard to fit her image, and never wanted to deal with her parents like ever.
Amy is my absolute favorite character. As she gets more comfortable with the group, her desperation goes down, bit she still keeps the quirkiness that we all fell in love with.
Ikr I loved her character development, I remember seeing someone criticise how her character changed very suddenly but I don’t think it was sudden at all we saw her gradually become close to the group and settle down and grow as a person which is lovely to see
I love her too , absolutely my favorite.
Amy was definitely the breakout character in season 4. Her best episode is 4x21 (The Agreement Dissection) when she became one of my favorite characters on the show!

This first episode reminds me why I love Amy so much. Once you have accepted her as your friend, she is ride-or-die for you all the way. Whereas Sheldon cares but has trouble expressing it, often coming off as apathetic to his friends, Amy lets you know from the get-go that she'll be there when you call her at 3am and say you need help hiding a body, lol.
Already done Season 4, I cannot believe it. Onward to Season 5 and beyond!!!!
Season 4 with the addition of Amy made it great because it opened the show up for a female audience, including storyline among the three women.
i know you don't want to be known as the big bang guy...but i want you to know i love this series, and you do an amazing job at reacting

It's episodes like that hospital one that make me wonder how Sheldon ever survived the pandemic. I mean, I think he would never leave his house once... not even by now😅
I relate to Amy on the lunch with the janitors. Throughout my 6th-12th grade years, the teachers and staff knew how much I got bullied and how unsafe I felt at school during lunch, so they would let me eat in the teacher's lounge with them. I would just listen to them talk to each other while feeling safer than being with the other students. However, the main students who bullied me came from wealthy families who donated a lot to the school, and therefore the pricipal and board would do nothing about those students or the people who struggled because of them. They all graduated without taking any class, just sat in bathroom and smoked weed. One of them even attacked a janitor who told them to go to class, and the janitor had to go to the Emergency Room. When the police showed up to ask what happened, the Principal said "Oh, he's old and sometimes misses a step, so he fell and injured himself". Yeah... My school was messed up, so I relate to a lot of these characters - at least on the aspect of having poor social skills. Although, college helped me greatly with that, but if I didn't go to the college I went to, I probably would still relate to these characters.
I think this is when we're starting to see Bernadette's feisty side. She's one of my favorite characters she's so funny!😂😂😂❤

That Penny and Raj story line was so strange. I think they referenced it once the rest of the show. It's like the writers realized it was a big mistake and just tried to ignore it the rest of the series. The majority of the fan base did not like it at all
It felt to me that they really intended to protray it as a mistake (one night stand). And also, it was referenced by Raj for several times throughout the rest of the series.
That's because it was literally, in universe, a mistake.

No spoilers Cody but incentive to finish the series for us to enjoy you enjoying it, but the series finale is one of the most satisfying 30 minutes I've ever seen. Which means you've got 8 more seasons of reactions to do sir. *nod nod*

I heard a similar joke as a child, but the delivery here is great.
Why would anybody think that having their ex and their current together alone is a good idea?!
They'll either become friends, talk smack about you or get into a fist fight, the gamble isn't worth it.
I mean, in Leonard's case it was good, if you don't have anything to hide and you're still friends with your ex, it's a way for your current not to feel jealous about it
Seasons 4,5, and 6 are def the best seasons.
Raj is not wrong about the Water Nymph. A LOT of Greek Mythology stories involve sexual liaisons between Gods (mainly Zeus!) and many different types of nymphs. The majority being water nymphs. Just look where Achilles came from! But he didn't come from Zeus. Shocking!

While Sheldon is normally selfish, he has a phobia, remember how he wears bus pants. Honestly I'm surprised he even leaves the house. I've been told I'm a germaphobe the only reason idc about germs as much anymore is because a good point was made out of it by Katy perry what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. 37 and not married (religion rare here so only few are married, under marrage from on i mean life partner), i only have several best girl friends and if needed a F bud (dont need that, need a snuggle one but no girl wants that).
I am 6+feet and own my own IT company and as even top models and TV stars have said while hitting on me i am good looking.

Poor raj, I'm 29 and don't have a boyfriend I've been single for so long I'm use to it, I've tried but men don't take me seriously, so I rather stay single then.
