Mensa-fied best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, may be able to tell everybody more than they want to know about quantum physics, but getting through most basic social situations, especially ones involving women, totally baffles them. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. Frequently seen hanging out with Leonard and Sheldon are friends and fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?

Yes , Priya is (at least for me ) the most toxic character of the series , she wanted Leonard to do everything she wanted , but when it came to him shw didn't even was honest about moving back to India and was hiding him from her parents

It's incredible how the show gets SO MUCH BETTER after Bernadette and Amy joined in... And combine with Penny, the girls are my favorites!
I was kind of sceptical when Amy was introduced into the show, maybe more of a Sheldon is bad kind of thing. But she just kicked it out of the park and made the show a lot more funny
Sheldon's love for trains is probably the purest thing about him.

As a preschool teacher, I had to know about the pinworms thing because they're especially common in young children. There are some things I wish I didn't have to know in childcare. lol
The sad thing is... I've had therapists in the past who were pretty much just like, "Well... be better." Depression? Be happy. Upset? Don't let people upset you.

Howard and Raj internet kissing is easily in my top 5 scenes from this show. How into it they both get is such a riot.
They're actual kiss in the last season where Raj thought Bernadette was trying to get with him is so funny..and Howard ofc trying to stop that by intervening that
"Wow Leonard has a body!" Yeah, one of the things Leonard's actor does to perfect the role is that he actually wears clothes a size too big, that way the bagginess hides how in shape he actually is.
Same deal with Ross on Friends. In the tanning salon episode, it's obvious this dude has not just been shlumping over fossils for twenty years.

Howard's character growth is great. He's quite hard to watch when you go back to the early seasons. Still more character growth to come from so many of them. The show and characters really did develop and change over time.

Amy says Leonard doesn't get her motor running which is funny considering the same actors dated in a different show.
As a Neurobiologist the Skank reflex is a perfect way to describe Penny when she's well lubricated 🍷

Fun fact, Amy's actor actually has a PHD and helped check the equations in the show. As a kid she was on Blossom, went back to school, then came back to acting with this gig.

5:18 yes he is the worst friend, last season he was ready to swoop in on his best friend's girlfriend after rumors over her breaking up with him and even earlier was daydreaming harm upon Howard just so he can be with her, to quote Raj in an earlier season "You've been a Sucky Friend. A Sucky Sucky Friend" oh how the Turn Tables
And yeah Howard goes though great character development and Bernadette is thankful the reason why, they bring out the best in each other and without getting into spoilers later on in this season you'll see more of that

The whole butter flavored syrup scene with Bernadette and Howard’s mom is one of my favorite. I now only but butter flavored syrup just so I can do a horrible imitation of “it’s butter flavored syrup” at home

Actually, Sheldon's reaction to the chair is justified.
I know a dude that got bedbugs because his idiot neighbour took a couch that someone discarded on the street. The whole floor became infested in a matter of months.

I do love the scene where raj and howard are "kissing" each other through he mouths, that leonard just stands there not saying anything. Idk why just makes me laugh. I do feel they could have made raj bi though as a side note.

The 3rd episode is definitely one of the best.
The part where Leonard was tryna get advice from his mom but it backfired, made me laugh for some reason and yet I know I’m not supposed to be laughing at that cause I’m not one to poke fun at someone’s pain.

Cody, I’m just going to say it, you are one of a very small group of reactors that watched transformers movies like it’s rare to find people reacting to the transformers franchise (especially Bumblebee “2018”) so, if you’re not gonna react to transformers 4 and 5 than please, just react to bumblebee like, at least try to. It would be a really good Christmas gift.

I typically enjoy your videos, but I could've done without all the Raj bashing. Penny admitted in the previous episode that she's attracted to him and would be 'on him' if they weren't friends. So, yeah, Raj would be her second choice after Leonard of the guys in the show, and she'd never want Howard. All these characters have problems at times, but when it comes to who is the worst friend... hands down, it's Howard. The only reason Howard has had 'character growth' is he was such a repulsive person, that occasionally doing the bare minimum a decent person would do is considered growth. He has been toxic and emotionally abusive to several characters, especially Raj. Raj getting attached too easily to women doesn't make him evil or a bad friend. It means he's insecure and lonely. And why wouldn't he be with a friend like Howard who has messed with his mind and his self esteem over and over. Really, he gets almost no empathy and compassion from his other friends. I'd argue that Raj is the best friend of the group. Despite his occasional bad moments, that everyone on this show has, he goes above and beyond for his friends to make them happy, and most of the time it's not appreciated or it's out right mocked that he'd being effeminate by showing genuine caring for them. Raj ultimately is treated worse by the writers and the characters they write than any other character. His loneliness and insecurity is played for laughs, and when a terrible person, like Howard does things to make him more insecure and isolated, it's treated as funny. But it's not. Out of all these people, I'd rather have Raj as a friend in real life than any of them. Finally, though I always shipped Leonard and Penny, either Penny or Bernadette would have been lucky to have Raj as a boyfriend because he actually cares about what will make someone happy. Bernadette's character development suffered by being involved with Howard. I would've rathered her be with Raj or just about anyone else but Howard. There's another BBT reactor who I don't watch as much anymore because of his incessant Raj bashing. I truly hope you don't go down the same road.

Bruh what is Leonard crying about he is in a relationship he has no right to get angry. He has no authority over penny just like raj doesn't have on Priya. He did exact same thing with Howard's gf before which is even worse because they were in a relationship.
Howard and Stephanie were not in a relationship. Howard just picked her up that same night at the bar. Leonard even asked her if Howard had a shot with her. She said no.
