@@thelipstickgal Revisiting this review as I ordered the primer and both eyeshadow quads. WOW. They are really pretty and so wearable. Thanks for the inspiration!
I’ve really enjoyed many of the BP products. Skincare is definitely worth the price and quality imo. Eyeshadows if you can find d colors you like have been excellent pigmentation and texture. Love the powders too. Lipsticks are pretty good but find the mattes have been my least favorite but the new refillable ones have been lovely if you can find shade you like :). Liners and eyebrow pencils have been great too. I’m so glad you did this review. When I saw the quad shimmer i thought of you and wi seeing if you would do review. At first I was hoping it would be like the for quad shimmer/highlighter but it sounds like it wasn’t. Again I enjoy your videos 😊. Thanks!!’
Thanks so much for watching today. I used the shimmer quad in my GRWM this week and decided to swirl them all together and use it as blush. It looked better, but I'm not sure it's the best product for my 49 year old skin. I have cheek products that look amazing on my mature skin, and this one was just OK. I'm not going to kick it out of my collection, but I'll probably let my youngest try it out. Lily has a slightly deeper complexion than I do, and I feel like it would look stunning on her. I really like the quad eyeshadow formulas. So good, and worth the $24 price point. I like that they're refillable now too. I love the eyeliners and lip liners as well as the brow products from BP. I'm also a fan of the powder and cream bronzers and blushes, and every powder I've tried from the brand. The Wondergloss Collagen Lip Oil is such a favorite, and I like the matte lipstick I recently picked up. Over all, I enjoy most of what I get from Beauty Pie and the membership is worth it for me.
Searching for “Beauty Pie Reviews” first brought me to your channel lo these several years, so I love that you continue to buy and review. I am a member and try to buy mostly from them to make my membership worthwhile. As I’ve said to you before, some of their changes have not thrilled me, but I overall am still a fan especially of their skincare, scents and candles. I have no idea what to do with bronzer (there’s not enough room on my face for blush, bronzer and highlight!) and I have enough highlighter to last literally the rest of my life , so none of this collection calls to me except for the eyeshadow quad. I have recently loved the Jude lip color from the Sam Chapman collection. BTW, Marcia shows putting the blush quad all together, which seems a lot easier than trying to isolate the individual sections…. Cheers!
I haven't tried blending the 4 colors in the pan because that deeper bronze is outside of my comfort zone. It's very warm and much darker than I normally wear. I've been enjoying the eye shadow quad. I've always liked the quality of the quads since the launched with the first ones from James Malloy. I haven't dabbled in fragrance or hair care. I might have to start trying stuff. Thanks so much for making time to watch my videos, and have a wonderful week.
It has a required membership to get the lowest prices. I wouldn't pay the non member price for any Beauty Pie products. At the member price, many of them are worth it.
Makeup looks beautiful as usual. I’m interested in the eyeshadow but I cancelled my membership. I feel like the products have gotten really expensive and if you don’t like something, you’re stuck with it.
Yeah, the sever increase in price has made me slow my purchasing habits. 💸 The eyeshadow is lovely, but I wouldn't recommend it at the non member price. Thanks so much for watching today.
Never tried beauty pie … lovely to see you tho glad u got my Iris pics my names are all different everywhere … still on the fence about the Natasha powder foundation I think my lawless powder is fine I need to try it with some concealer … does the Givenchy have any coverage ? I kinda wish I would’ve got it in the sale lol I just don’t usually wear powders … its just so much easier 🤣🤣🤣
There's not much coverage from the Givenchy powder. There is a slight tint to it, but not coverage. I've ordered the ND powder foundation and I'll have a first impression up next week. That might help you decide. It hasn't arrived yet, so I don't have any opinions yet.
I know that Beauty Pie isn't for everyone. Thanks for making the time to watch despite not purchasing online from the brand. I appreciate your support of my channel.
Yes, it's kind of like the Costco of beauty. They do occasionally have days where you can purchase at member prices without the membership. It's a great way to try the brand. I know Beauty Pie isn't for everyone, but they do have a wonderful assortment of luxurious products. It's the best place for someone who wants one stop shopping.
I like most of what I get from the brand, but not everything works well for me. (Shimmer blush/bronzer) I heavily rely on many BP skincare products. I'm sorry the brand doesn't work for you.
Hi! Hope you are feeling better! Watching a video about a brand I will not find where I am😅 but I will enjoy watching you talking make up with a big cup of coffee and a nougat croissant❤
I am feeling a bit better. I can't wait until later this month when I have an appointment with my pain doctor for a nerve block. Thanks for asking. Thanks also for watching me talk about products you can't get in Germany right now. I appreciate the support!
Hi Lipstick Gal! I always enjoy your BP thoughts& reviews. Everything looks beautiful on you. I luv the lipstick. If you could choose only 1 eyeshadow palette, would you pick EM cosmetics palette or BP? I think both are made in Italy. Who in your opinion does a better eyeshadow. I am still on the fence about EM palette in Rodin as opposed to the BP summer palette. I hope you are doing well.😊 I am BP fan. I like the Japan Fusion cleanser & Jeju daily cleansing milk. I recently got the Sam Chapman eyeshadows, 1 of the matte lipsticks& her eyeshadow pencil. I like them all. I have their Plantastic moisture balm & Superdose Vit. C moisturizer which gives a little glow. It's nice & lightweight for summer. If course I have more but too much to mention. 😂
I feel like the price different is important here. The EM one is $42 with 6 shades and the BP one has 4 shades and retails for $24. (Member price) There are 6 color ways from EM, and only 4 currently available from BP. I feel like you'll have more color options from EM. The EM ones are great, but each palette has a specific look. (Peach, orange, rose, grey, ect. . .) I feel like the formulas are great from both brands, but the BP ones might be easier for someone looking for everyday ease and doesn't want to spend too much. The BP one has 0.22 oz. & the EM one has 0.30 oz. I'm not sure if I can say which one I prefer because they're both amazing formulas, but I hope these thoughts help you decide.
Do you think the deeper bronze would work for medium skin tone? Have you used BP youth bomb serum? What are your favorite BK beauty for eyes? Hope you guys have a good weekend?
I think the deeper bronze in this 4-pan would work for Medium skin, but I can't say for sure. You might want to check the reviews on the BP website. I know they have a lovely assortment of Awesome Bronze products that would work well for medium skin tones. (The Cream Bronzer and the Single Bronzer) I only have one BK brush for eyes, but I just placed an order during their mother's day sale (it's ongoing until the 12th) They're offering 20% off. I picked up a few more face brushes and 2 of the Nikki La Rose brushes for eyes. I'm slowly accruing more BK brushes. I mostly use natural hair brushes, but the quality of BK is amazing. Have an amazing weekend as well, and thanks for watching.
Good morning Rebecca, drinking my coffee while watching you. I might just have to get a Beauty Pie subscription, I want to try those eye shadow quads. Praying you’re feeling better.❤
@@BlingyBea thanks so much for your prayers. 😘 I really like the quad. There is a slight warmer one that's been released along with the summer collection. I feel like the quality is great, and they wear well.
I don’t think I can get Beauty Pie in Canada. I always hear you rave about several of their products so I’ll watch and enjoy so that maybe one day I’ll know what to try when I can order this brand.
I'm surprised that Beauty Pie isn't sold in Canada. They're a UK brand, and isn't Canada part of the Commonwealth? If they ever start shipping to Canada, you might like to try a few things. They occasionally have opportunities for non-members to purchase at the member price. It's a significant savings.
@@thelipstickgal I remember checking into it last year but I will check again. What you’re saying makes sense. I’d love to try them! Btw I forgot to mention that the microphone helps a lot :)
Thank you for the reviews on the BP Summer Collection! I’m leaning toward trying the smoky eye shadow quad. Everything else was way out of my comfort zone 😂 I watched a live with Marcia, and one of her fellow BP experts, and they said later in the year eye shadow refills will be available. Like a whole new collection, if I remember correctly. They recently added a new setting spray to the lineup.
Ooh, I love hearing that they're planning on releasing shadow refills. I hope they make the "Keep This" Eyeshadow compact available for sale on it's own so you can choose which 4 shades you want to fill it with. I might have to add a setting spray to my next order. Thanks so much for watching today, and if you decide to get the Summer Smoky palette (or the other shade they're offering) I hope you like it.
For some reason I got an excellent Mr Rogers vibe from this video today. You have such a gentle and straightforward way of narrating through your process. I really appreciate that. And so skilled! Feel like you took a slightly touch-and-go situation and made it work. Brava!🎉
Oh, what a fabulous compliment. I LOVED Mr. Rogers as a kid. Even more so now as I have watched some pretty awesome documentaries about him. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch today. I really appreciate it. ☺️

I have the Wondergloss in cherry o and LOVE it and the future lipstick shine in you sexy thing and use it a lot as well! It feels really nicely on the lips
I LOVE the Wondergloss Collagen Lip Oils. I just wish the prices hadn't increased so dramatically last year. They went from $9 to $14. I haven't had to purchase any recently, so I'm not sure if they're still at the $14 price point. I hope so. I have one of the Futurelipstick Luxe Shine in Bruised Berry. I love the formula and the texture on the lips.
