I bought the beach peach and I love it. Comparing the packaging, shape of the bullet and the textured finish, I’m pretty convinced that they are made by the same people that make my favourite Lisa Eldridge lucent lipsticks. They all looked gorgeous on you!
I feel like the formulas are different between these Wonder Gloss Luxe Lipsticks and the Lucent Lipsticks. I'm wearing Beach Peach today without a lip liner, and it's sliding into all my lip lines around the perimeter of my lips. It's not staying inside the lip area. I also find that I need to reapply this formula every 45-60 minutes or my lips dry out. I get closer to 2.5-3 hours of wear from a Lucent Lipstick. 🤷♀️ I'm not saying these are bad, but they're very different in my eyes. I get more pigment, moisture and longevity from the lucents than I do from the Wonder Gloss Luxe Lipsticks. That's ok, I don't mind that. I don't see them as a similar formula.
I’m a BP member. I was a big talker about not renewing my membership but I can’t bring myself to let it go. The increase in prices is disappointing but many of their products are still a great value. I love the super luminous under eye genius, the collagen lip oil and everything I’ve tried in the Japan Fusion and Jeju skincare line. I also LOVE the Strengthening Shampoo and Weightless Conditioner for my fine hair. So ya… I love a lot of their stuff. I want to buy their new bronzers, and now especially the new lipstick. Also eyeing the new nail polish edit. Their nail polishes are so good.
Yes, I totally get where you're coming from. I've also been shocked by the increase in prices. 47% increase in the lip glosses in 5 months. From $9.50 to $14. It seemed like such a large jump compared to other brands. I'm in love with so many of their products, there's a good chance I'm still going to keep purchasing. And if they keep releasing products like these new lipsticks, I'm going to be buying every time they drop something new. I'm not happy about it, but at least I'm being honest with myself. I use Cantu products most days. The regular shampoo and conditioner for regular washes, and Briogio's charcoal exfoliating shampoo and Don't Despair Repair conditioning mask once a week to maintain moisture and exfoliate my scalp. I love the Cantu moisturizing curl activator. It's the only styling product I use. I've been using it for years, and it's a wonderful balance of just enough hold to keep my frizz at bay, but soft enough to not feel crunchy after my hair is totally dry & I break the cast. Here's what I do on a wash day: wash and condition with one of my two favorite products listed above. Add in a healthy dose of the Cantu leave in conditioner, add in tons of the moisturizing curl activator, and then either air dry or diffuse it. I normally go 3-4 days between washes. When my hair out totally dry, I'll scrunch the crispy cast out of my hair so it looks and feels softer. To refresh my hair between washes, I will spray my hair with water and dilute some of the curl activator (with water) and lightly run it over my slept on curls. Air dry or diffuse, and I'm good to go.

Rose Official and Sheer Rose are very close in color. There is a swatch on the community tab of my channel that shows this. I haven't swatched the other two next to any lucents, but I'd expect Beach Peach to be similar to Je Ne Sais Quoi and Solar Nude could be close to Le Meprís.

How do the new luxe sheer lipsticks compare to the shine up luxe balm sticks? Trying to decide whether to reorder the balm stick, which I love, or try the new sheer lipstick.
I had problems with the shine up color balms drying my lips out. I only had one, and I ended up getting rid of it. I loved the color, and texture, but not the long term effects on my lips. These wondgloss lipsticks seem to be a bit different in texture. They're a bit more sheer. I remember reapplying the shine up balm every 45-60 minutes. Same with these. These are hydrating, but lighter weight than the balm. (If I'm remembering correctly) I tried them on for the first time yesterday while filming, but I do like them so far. Very comfortable, but sheer color. I had a color balm in a sheer, nude shade (something with "love"in the name) it looked so pretty, but my lips didn't like it. They got dry and itchy. My lips really like this formula, but I'm reapplying regularly. Something you might want to keep in mind.

Now I must try the wondergloss lipsticks instead 💸💸💸 Would you say these are more comparable to the Honest Beauty tinted lip balms? How close is Beach Peach to Blood Orange?
