Do you know if the head unit fits onto the older screw together pole, rather than the telescopic pole. I have the older pole and don't want to end up with 2 poles. I called Ryobi help desk in Australia which seems to be run in India and they couldn't answer the question.

How long does battery last please?
it has a fuse placed inside the top pole. you need to destroy rivets (i.e., tear it apart) to remove the blown fuse. insane.
