@@autotips5141 looking again at the layout, a bracket assembly that supports the steering assembly is what would stop it coming out in a oner.I’m looking to remove the dashboard as a last resort, have you any hints on that
Do you have any pictures so I can think at something? I didn't removed the dashboard on this car but on other cars, after I put it back I was getting all the noises when I hit a pothole...I use as a last resort only for replacing the heat exchanger or something that I can't do it without removal.

Was that the resister you tested with a multi meter? And was that a new fan you used?
Is the wiring and heater resistor also behind the glove box on a LHD model?
Heater resistor is on the left side, above throttle pedal, and it's a pita to get access to it.
Now show us how to do it on a right hand drive model with A/C?
I didn't have to replace one on a rhd but I guess it's more difficult, probably you'll have to remove the steering column...
