      I started using the little chief with family when I was 12 for smoked smelt and they are hard to beat for smoking fish... Thank you for watching!

      Thank you! I have been using smokers from this company since I was 12 years old. No, I am not going to say how long that is, lol. These smokers are the best jerky and fish smokers ever!

    Does the little chief come with the chips to?

    What is the purpose of spraying it to season, my booklet says to smoke a pan of chips to season it.

      My main reason it to give the smoke something to stick to. Also, oil can make it easier to clean in the future and help cover any factory tool oils. Many other smokers call for oil during the seasoning process. You can add oil anytime but just go light, if you over do it you can have a mess under the smoker.
