Have just found your channel and enjoying your French trip blog. I thought you captured the peace and tranquillity of the French villages very well. We have never ventured across the channel in a car but your videos are motivating me to do something about that. Looking forward to more of your travels. Keep ‘em coming!

Nice video guys - we are quite new to caravanning but are hoping to go to France next year so your trip is very useful for us. We bought a Garmin Avtex Tourer 2 Sat Nav ( you can put the car and caravan dimensions in and it will only take you on roads that are suitable) which is very good ( wasn't cheap though) - we bought it at the Cara van and Motorhome show at the NEC ( we are going again in October). Give Beau a pat from us.

We can add outfit dimensions to our Tomtom but on that day it just wanted to do its own thing, good luck with your holiday to france next year.

Hi we are looking to do France with our caravan. What maps do you use as a back up pls? Great vlogs very informative.

Thank you, we use a Michelin Road and Tourist book, I would advise getting one with as much detail as possible including location of Aires and service stations on major routes, good luck with your plans.

I love Bo’s seat in the car. Do you know the make and where did you get it please? Hope you see this as it’s from last year. Just found you.

Hello, I bought it from vinted, it was £10.00, brand new. I just looked, and there are several people selling theirs. Some used and some are brand new. 😊 thank you for watching our vlogs.

I have enjoyed your part 1 and 2 so far. My Map though took me to Britanny for your site until I put the full name in. Maybe thats why your Tom`tom got confused. I would always put the map co-ordinates in. I use Co-Pilot thaough. So easily done. I didnt see any comments how you got your dog across

Thank you for your comments, ref our dog we had to obtain a AHC Animal Heath Certificate from Abbeywell vets in Folkstone & she also had to have a rabies jab (lasts for 3 years) & coming home we needed to visit a French vet as she had to have a tape worm tablet and we also needed her AHC signed to say she had it done, there's a government website that lays it all out and there's lots of help on line.

You should go for a swim if the site has a pool nothing better if you are feeling the heat

How old is your TomTom? Terrible they don’t support it anymore, thought they’re supposed to give lifetime updates.
Am enjoying following along, we travel on Friday in our motorhome. Rosslare, Ireland to Cherbourg, France 18 hours, your so lucky to travel by the tunnel 35 minutes is amazing.

Tomtom support is confusing, I can still update maps but their emails say its not supported anymore ?? I think they just want me to buy a new one, have a great holiday.

Hi @jaygee63 , Rosslare was great. No delays or traffic and roads are fine. Don't think I'd be able for all the hassle of traffic around Dublin. Even if flying somewhere I prefer Shannon or Cork.

I wonder if you carry a atlas (maps) for just an example

Yes we do carry an atlas, think we should use it more 👍
