Hello Paul and Sharon, Fingers crossed we be in Norfolk on Monday - only had to delay it twice. First because my health nose dived then found out the tyres on our 620 had been fitted totally incorrectly (inside out and back to front) which took another week to get changed and fitted. I have actually towed our unit down that same road (diverted by the police because of a fatal accident on the main A149 road on which they had no idea how long it would take to re-open) not much difference size wise between us and the coaches. Just a case of hold your breath and breathe in!!!! Who knows may be one day our paths will cross, just keep an eye out for a two girls, 2 mexican assassins (Chihuahua's) in a Black Sprinter pulling Gustopher behind us.
Apologies for the delayed response but we have had our plans curtailed due to me being diagnosed with a DVT in my leg, thankfully a lot better now and itching to get on the road again soon. I hope you enjoy your time in Norfolk and that the weather is kind to you, cheers.
@pashonexploring Oh no that’s not good Paul. Dad had 2 when he was alive, Diane had to be very careful because she has Lymphodema and my legs are fully of holes (brittle bones). Hope you getting better now. We got to Norfolk on Tuesday - the storm on Sunday took the power out and the kitchen ceiling came down to the rain and the village took a battering too. They say things run in 3 and they certainly do at least we here now so can rest a while.
Lovely site and a great looking outfit. We are planning to buy our first caravan later this year and I’d love to explore that neck of the woods. We are over in Cheshire. How do you find your Discovery? I love them but worried about reliability as I have heard a fair few horror stories. I also like a bit more modern tech too. Have my eyes on a BMW 530d xDrive M Sport too as we need space for the large dog crate to take Cooper and Lando! Would love to have a twin axle one day!
Thanks, Yes there is a lot of hype about LR's reliability but it is a fantastic car both on & off road, 600nm of torque it pulls effortlessly. What ever you buy I would encourage you to get the best extended warranty you can.
