Big respect for Tatum, his mom and grandma.
Word up💐💐🔥🔥
And his dad
JT Mom, as a single mom did one heckuva job with her son! As a single mom I appreciate others like me. I appreciate all parents, but when you’re on your own and doing it by yourself and it all comes out good is a wonderful wonderful thing❤
His Story Is An Example Of How Love Always Wins No Matter The Circumstances...
There's a old teacher somewhere in St Louis dying in shame watch this young man live out his dream. His classmates too!! Green 💚 Town JT
Great Story, great mom, brother is really bless for his caring mother. She keep him ground level....
I'm a Knicks fan so rooting for a Celtic is always difficult, but as a man and as a player I respect him a lot. Very professional. I absolutely love his moms too!!
You gotta love this guy. I lived in St. Louis, taught at UMSL, and ran the Urban Debate League-St.. Louis. This brought me back.
Outstanding mom, produced an outstanding son.She made up for a lack of a father figure in that household!.🙏🏼👍🏼
This was a super great interview❤ didn’t know he came from such humble beginnings and a single mom
Legend in the making! Great interview
As a 1976 Chaminade alum, with a son who graduated in 2002, I loved this interview with a smart young man, a thoughtful and intelligent mother and you Graham! That the entire interview took place in The Athletictron and The Atrium was a wonderful opportunity to remember my 5 years (8-12) at Chaminade. He truly represents our motto "Esto Vir",,, Be A Man. Well done Jason!
I've seen him play with these insecurities throughout his career. I knew it was something there. Jrue Holiday will help him develop his championship mindset, tho. The Boston Celtics will win the 2024 NBA Championship.
Awesome story. And his father is the real life version of Denzels character in He Got Game, Jake Shuttlesworth, as far as coaching his son in that manner
I be cheering for him on and off the court great young man- had to share this with my little one too!
God bless his mother even more for being so protective and caring. Most NBA moms just want to be flashy
I went to soldan high school his father Justin Tatum he was our high school basketball coach whom also made us state champs…..I remember young Tatum coming up to our school with his dad idk why folk act like his dad wasn’t around when he definitely was
beautiful story
This was incredible, thank you! Loved hearing from everyone in Jayson’s life. Deuce is so cute! Jayson seems like a great dad. Next interview I’d love to hear more from his grandma and it would be interesting to hear about how he co parents with Deuce’s mom and how his own childhood struggles may have shaped that. Hope things go Boston’s way for the rest of the playoffs this year ☘️🏀
Malanie? I cannot believe how generous people can be. Friend? No way, she is an angel
That made my day hearing if you not gone play we could watch something else or go to bed!❤ motivation
Tatums career accolades are going to be crazy. His win loss record, the amount of times he’s been to the ECF already… sheesh
Great Guy, Great Character 👍🏾👍🏾
My Mann Tatum 🔥🔥💐💎🏀
Jayson's childhood relationship with his father sounds in some ways similar to Tiger Woods relationship to his Dad. Àpparently they both had a method to their madness. Look at their sons now. On top of their athletic successes they appear to be good caring dads themselves.
Tatum wants the MVP, the finals MVP !!
He's willing to let others shine and is keeping his sights on the big prize.
That's a true leader.
Love your show John, I never miss it.
Jim in Vermont
Great!
That Jordan Tee tough🔥🔥 carhartt collab
That journey to the pros is not for the weak
RIP Kobe 💜💛💜💛🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥💐
The thing about Graham’s interviews is that he’s just asking questions that he’s already heard answers to from other interviews.
just stop you got cooked
We can’t wait for you to bring the opportunity back to kids in stl. I can learn a thing or two from his mom. I’m a fan!
Nice interview with a wonderful young man. I love his candor and his mom. What a lady. He will win a championship. He’s just gotta dig down deep through the layers of insecurity and “snatch the pebble”. Don’t know if it’s this year, but it will happen. That daddy though….. I can’t even approve of how he “motivated” Jason. I don’t even know him and I can’t stand him. It’s clearly affecting Jason’s psyche and he can use some therapy for it.
Thank you JT
God really works in mysterious ways 🙏, this is so motivational
Jayson Tatum is talented but when his emotions come out he is out to kill 😮
This guy almost lived the he got game plot.
This is a great in-depth on the 19 year old.
Ele tem uma história de vida muito linda ❤❤
The odds of making the NBA are so small so anyone talking poorly of that teacher is pretty dumb.
On Sauccceeeeeeeee its above the rim imma get you together trust the process not the money. ."im drippin flava baby i got a choppa on me no 380 baby . .i wasnt posed to make it" salud comrade!
Jayson, you have to rebounds and asisists. tripple double 12-15 and double double 12-12.
🖤💛
Put your trust in God and he will direct your path. Your life story is amazing and beautiful. Now Tatum, you can see just how good God is. Wishing you all the best in future. God bless. ❤️
gotta win the home games.
pay, listen, you can win wherever you want
Wasn't his dad his basketball coach?
now, you have to take the Timberwolves things(jay-z and practice the assists and rebounds)

Ain't his dad coach overseas. Ain't his Dad friend Larry Hughes his Godfather. What's going on? If I could share a picture right now.
Awesome Father, phenomenal hooper, believer of Jesus, makes him already one of my favorite players to watch play the game! Love him and his mom!! Can't wait til he wins a ring!
Things your dad did got him to the league.

“She could’ve went to MIT.” Yeah, okay, if you say so. Obviously she didn’t go.
Well we clearly see you didn’t go to any university 💀 his mother is now a lawyer.. clearly she’s intelligent and able to endure grueling processes. Her situation didn’t allow her to reach her full potential until later in life which is fine because she and her child ultimately made it. You’re commenting behind a phone trying to diminish a professional woman and professional athlete. What do you do anywhere near that??
@@kaedenjohnson4743👏🏾👏🏾🙆🏾♂️
I get where you coming from. She said she was top of her class tho. MIT etc often take people who are top of their class even if they come from very bad schools. And she went on to get her masters, her doctorate, her law degree _while_ living paycheck to paycheck and raising a child on her own
