Energy drinks and coffees do not count against alcohol 15 drink limit and no you can not save money by buying on second day . They are right about booking early . You do save money by buying before cruise . And no they will not look away from the 5 minute waiting rule . The computer will not let them sell before 5 minutes are up . It’s possible that the bartender would ring them up 5 minutes apart but I really doubt it .
We've met staff that does and does not. It really doesn't matter anyways, five minutes isn't that long to wait 🙂
Someone told me that they called and told the cruise line only one person in their cabin drank alcohol so they were able to buy 1 drink package and the other person had to buy a refreshment package to save money. Then they would go to the bar get their drink, walk around a bit, go to another bar get another drink and give it to someone in their party. Not sure how you don't get caught doing that being on RC or Carnival but might work! Haha
Interesting way to work the system! Might have to give that a try, but sometimes on vacation we like to drink a little bit more than 7 drinks each in a day LOL.
@@BoatBreakersNJ But Royal Caribbean doesn’t have a maximum drink allowance per day. There’s no 15 max on Royale Caribbean with the deluxe drink package other than the 5 minute period

It only limits alcohol drinks to 15. You can down all the coffee and energy drinks you want.

We went on the legend in January and had a great time. Watched your tour several times to get the Lay out. We had the drink package but on our next cruise on the legend we got casino drinks on us.. that being said we aren’t getting the package. Do you guys know how many daily drinks you are charged if you get a tower at the red frog pub? I’m not trying to get docked for 5 drinks if I’m sharing it. With the drink package we couldn’t get a tower last time.
Hey Chris! The towers are not included in the cheers package so you’d have to buy that separately
Not my question. I know it’s not included. My question was if I were to purchase a tower how many daily drinks will that account for? With or without a package you are limited to 15. If I got a tower for 3 of us would I be docked for more than one daily drink.
Gotcha, beer towers are only counted as one drink
