Been cruising since 2008, but only been on Fantasy and Conquest classes. This tour absolutely blew my mind at not only the more modern, tasteful design and colors, but the luxury feel and entirely different layout. I would miss the old school Promenade, but not for long! This or Excel class may be our next cruise! Thanks for an excellent and high quality tour!

I'm not sure that I want to try any of these huge ships.

Carnival sunrise was the most horrible cruise i have ever taken. After the refurbish the buffett restaurant was made smaller for more guests, it took a long time to get food. There were fights while lining up for food at the Buffett. I have been in NCL and RC and i never wait for more than a couple of mins to grab food. The staff was rude, entertainment was poor quality. Poop cruise is a fine name, there were sections of the ship that smelled like raw sewage absolutely revolting. We will never cruise with carnival ever again.

Thank you for the video .. I was deciding between the two and I was already leaning towards Carnival but this confirmed it. Carnival has great customer service never had an issue with any of the workers.

Do they have an adults only pool?

Enjoy the tour getting ready to take my first cruise on December 8 of this year. Very helpful information. Now I understand how the layout of the ship is kind of a vista will be my first cruise. Looking forward to meeting new people.

the ports sound like they need to hire employees, im sure there are many who need jobs. they need more single rooms on ships. as long as the prices are affordable, i dont care.

mdr was horrible service and food was meh. waiter dropped an entire tray of food by my leg so they removed 1 day of gratuties. red frog pub had old folks in it so i walked out. other than that its a good size ship. there a lot of "shirts" family reunions on this cruise. the magic show as good, we did the 5 night cruise, much needed. .would sail again

Carnival Sunrise has a special place in our hearts she was my husband and I first cruise for our 18th wedding anniversary. We are getting to sail again with Sunrise next spring Lord willing can't wait. Great review!

There are significant savings when you buy pre cruise in the cruise planner. Also, if and only if you call Royal, one adult can buy the deluxe package when the other adult in the cabin buys the refreshment package. The deluxe package can be worth it when you make full use of the non alcoholic options, pre purchase and you only need 3 or 4 alcoholic beverages per day to break even.

My husband and I are taking our 4 little Grands during spring break in April on this ship(10,8,6,5). Didn't want an overwhelming size ship, but still wanted one that they'd enjoy, I think we'll be OK. Thank You for sharing🙂

They must have improved a ton. They where the worst Carnival ship we where ever on. We had one problem after another, from rude service, no water at dinner,and couldn't use the drink package. We tell everyone never take the Freedom.

We were on a Celebrity cruise around Japan. We were offered a upgrade for $8 a day on the day we boarded. It ended up being well worth it.

I got to say I just got off of the Mardi Gras last week. I heard a lot about these shorter cruises in the issues that they experienced but we went on an 8-day and I mean it was insane. I heard about at least three to four fights. One of them was posted on the forum that I was using prior to the cruise and it took place at the pizzeria during the day. I had just left the pizzeria from getting my grandson a slice before it happened and when we got off at the port that's when we saw the video. The kids were running up and down the halls knocking on the doors. There was also a alarm of some sort at about 1:30 a.m. on the second to last night. We were woken up by the alar. We all got up no one knew what was going on so we jus headed to our mustard station. We also experienced the entitlement of the speaker with your own music. People would walk by me and I'm just looking like what the heck? I would just say that there are equal issues on all ships I guess. With all that said, I loved it!!! A day anywhere away from work home and the worries of this world works for me. And like I told them I'd rather be woken up by a random alarm in the middle of the night or early in the morning than to be back at home getting ready to go back to work. Don't have anything bad to say about it, bad things going to happen wherever we go and we can't focus on those but yeah just my two cents and that's all it is $0.02

We have Rock Royalty "Hall of Fame" membership. Not for the faint of heart. My wife and I have no regrets. Cancun location is the best we have visited of all their locations, because it's small and close to airport and food and entertainment is what we wanted. Quiet and very relaxing. We wanted to be treated like Mick Jagger on a vacay.
