Tripod Orchard Ladder - what the heck is that?

Forever Foods Farm now has a 12 foot tripod orchard ladder. We are so excited to be much safer harvesting our tart cherries this season . Our previous attempts at getting up into the the upper parts of the tree have been very unsafe using standard ladders. I can’t believe how lightweight this is and how easy it is to move around the tree. So stable on uneven ground and when you climb it. Just keeps getting better and better. Forever Foods Farm. What trees do you need it for? Can you keep most of then pruned to a smaller height?

It’s the cherry trees. Since we have a food forest type of approach we kinda let them do their thing. I try to keep air flow and keep crossing to a minimum but other than that - sheer total utter neglect! The ladder will help us also with accessing the solar panels for an occasional cleaning.
