I love Kirby's Pinball :) I remember buying a Game Boy Light at the age of 13 or so off eBay, and it came with that game. So much fun on long car rides. Also, nice taste with the Light, it truly is the best way to play original Game Boy games; there's just something about that screen...

The 3DS has gyroscopic capabilities so I have literally no idea why Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble was NEVER released on the 3DS Virtual Console. Talk about a missed opportunity.

I haven't played too many Kirby games but I did buy Forgotten Land And I loved it. I think i may have rented a few for Game Boy, NES and SNES from Blockbuster back in the 90s. I'm aging myself here 🤣🤣
I need to play the ones that are available on the Switch online retro systems.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with Tilt N Tumble! I haven't tested it out myself but I believe someone's worked some black magic to make it work with motion controls on a modded Wii through an emulator. Might be worth a shot sometime, you've put the idea in my brain
Probably better than having to move your gamecube at least :p

Hey, Tilt N' Tumble is getting a port on the NS on the Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online application. This might be because of the new color frames for the original GB, GB pocket and GBC (Tilt N' Tumble released on it in 2000).

I'm sorry but Dream Land 2's true final boss is great. Getting the good ending is 100% worth it. Dream Land 3's cellectibles are indeed a nightmare tho.

I’m surprised you didn’t talk about the extra mode in the original Kirby’s Dreamland.
    Still a good video Though.

I think the Rainbow Drops are the thing that separates Dreamland 2 and the like from the rest of the series: they add a new depth to the level design. Games like Forgotten Land feel almost like Sonic Forces in that sure, there's something you play in them, but "the arena!!!" doesn't mean much, especially when that arena isn't that hard either. Dreamland 2 I'd argue actually stands well as both an easier game for those who go for the bad ending and a harder game for those who go for the good one - Dark Matter is a tough final boss, as well. I'd say that when going for the good end, it's definitely harder than Mega Man 9, aside from Wily Machine. I personally think the best way to play through DL1 is through the DX romhack.

I wish they took the 2 endings route in Return to Dream Land. Your point stands, loved collecting the rainbow drops. Forgotten Land is a different type of game and while it has only one ending the level design, collectibles and bosses are all great. There are also 2 secret postgame endings if you want extra stuff.

@@king-of-a-thing Fair, I think using Sonic Forces as a comparison was a bad idea, I've meant that there isn't really anything for those who think the game isn't challenging enough as even the other options are designed with those who have played the main game in mind, similarly to how some of the arenas in the earlier Kirby games aren't particularly difficult because they're designed to be played after the main game rather than as something separate

You didn't mention this, but you can't fight dark matter in the bad ending. You probably know this, but it still would have been nice to mention.

Ive never played tilt n tumble. But i also dont have a gba sp or color. I do have the original gba so im guessing it should work fine right? If i were to get the game now would there be 1 to 2 batteries to replace? I dont know if you looked into that or not

The game doesn't work on GBAsp, your best bet is Nintendo Switch Online. They re-released the game earlier this year and it plays well.

I have a gba and the cartridges I got from a store were dirty. I cleaned them.
