It is possible to get high enough to activate its checkpoint, but unfortunately the wall that is in front of it stops it from activating for some reason.
All three games' physics a different in one way or another, and even though I've barely played it, I'd say LBP3 is the most different out of them, but maybe I'm wrong. I'd have to say that LBP1 has my favourite physics though because it feels the smoothest.
