I made this cheesecake, and let me tell you, it was amazing!! I recommend to let it rest in the fridge overnight once it you finished making it, the taste is going to be even better!!! (Also, making this with Philadelphia creamcheese is, in my opinion, better than other creamcheeses)
@@jeonbamsshampoointhebuildi3354 For sure not, you could use Agar Agar too, but I am bad at math and haven't used it in my cake, so I don t know how much you'd need in it😅. Best thing would be to look on the net, I only know that you need 8g for a liter of water (if that can help?)

Just made this for my sister’s birthday. The fact that only powder gelatin was available and the only trays I could find had much lower sides meant I had to change some things, so here’s hoping it turns out well! 🤞

The top layer of gelatin I had mis-measured with my changes, and so as the cheesecake came up to room temperature after we served it, that top layer got watery and spilled out onto the sides. But we served it on a big plate, and all in all, everyone said it tasted great! Honestly, I think I was far more upset about my mistake than anyone else was, especially my sister. Depending on the pesticides used when they’re grown, she can get an allergic reaction to apple peels, so I actually did the bulk of the pink part in rose water and only added a little apple peel for color.
Idk if HidaMari answers- does anyone knows what is the use of putting the gelatin in ice water if we're going to melt it in hot liquid afterwards anyway ?
@@gih1347 i don't know about the amount exactly, but i have substituted gelatin sheet with agar-agar in previous recipes and it worked so i think powder gelatin should to :)
I have been following your recipes for some time now and they always amaze my friends when I make one of your cakes. They never look as perfect as yours but they are similar. When you use gelatine sheets is it ok to use the powder instead. Also why do you place some of the mixture in ice. Thank you. I must say you are truly amazing.

So it can absorb the water and melt evenly without dissolving before you need it.
Yo can put It also in only normal cold Water but its nesesary hidrate before you can melt in other case It Will be a block like a brik and doesnt melt
