      They don't make one. Either upgrade to aftermarket mounts or skip the bar. A traction bar is there for performance, to reduce wheel hop. There's really no need or a benefit for a traction bar if you're using stock engine mounts.

      Honestly this bar looks like a rep of Innovative's bar. I own 2 Innovative bars and love them. I've had no issues with either of those also. Obviously for price, this one is cheaper. If the shipping really drives the price up then that doesn't separate them much and Innovative is known for their quality, maxpeedingrods is new and trying to make a place for themselves. I dont see any reason the MXR bar and radius rods would fail, but I'd like to see how the heim joints hold up. • @GarageBuiltHondas
      @GarageBuiltHondas  4 роки тому

      Probably sand it down so there's no paint chips and then throw some vinyl onto it so it looks a little nicer. Probably cut the webbing out also. I doubt I'll replace it. JDM hoods aren't cheap.

      No. The difference is unnoticeable especially when you're already running harder urethane bushings.

      @@GarageBuiltHondas hi man, no im not to be honest, Ive never used it, I know the measurement of the bore of the heim its 12mm and the threaded part is 20mm, not sure on the thread pitch, the closest I can find is 1/2 by 3/4 which is 12.6mm by 19.4mm approximately, I think theyre right hand threaded but not fully sure

    • @zagc4976
      @zagc4976 3 роки тому

      My bad I measured it wrong, I think its a 1/2 bore by 5/8 which is 15.88mm i measured the width of threaded to bar as near 16, think its UNF, but i.ll find out soon, are they Right handed thread?

    • @zagc4976
      @zagc4976 3 роки тому

      I forgot theres spacers so these joints could be 5/8 by 5/8 or M16 by M16, maxpeeding if your reading these give us the dimensions, you have to take the whole rod off to measure them!

    • @zagc4976
      @zagc4976 3 роки тому

      Saying that the 12mm bolt wouldnt be a good fit, so my best guess is 1/2 bore 5/8 joint, but i need to find out the thread pitch, most likely UNF

    • @GarageBuiltHondas
      @GarageBuiltHondas  4 роки тому +1

      It does. I don't recommend leaving the jack on the bar supporting the weight of the car but that's all traction bars. Easily lift the car by them, but then use jack stands as normal.

      You unfortunately have to remove it. It's kind of a pain in the a$$ honestly for your alignment guy. My dude always hooks it up though and sets it to however I prefer. I personally keep everything set to stock specs except camber.
