You forgot how painful to use Misteln is without HoRb, Seele was literally made to fix the crit rate issue. Also Susannah is very much worth since Luna may deal bleed dmg but considering the Bleed bosses that we have rn, either typeless(pisacha), Quantum or Bio (senti), Susannah still outperforms Luna. Susannah also covers most physical weathers which still makes her valuable and will only get better once Griseo 2.0 arrives.
Very true. I did mention that physical teams aren't worth building without at least 4/4 HoS or an HoRb, but I think its become clear that Susannah is still the dominant bleed dps. However we still don't have info on pishacha and since 7.1 griseo is tailor made for lunar vow, I can't say for certain that susannah is much stronger. She will probably fill the niche better but how I see it is if you pull lunar vow, you get a lightning dps, a lightning support, and a good alternative to Susannah
@@BaoPham2 the improvement from new griseo is the same for lunar vow and Susannah, they both get a 10% increase from her. Luna bleed coverage is quite weak overall

@@BaoPham2 strictly speaking, Susannah doesn't want (traditional) 4/4 on HoS or HoRb, preferring they instead use TBand/SusannahO Aladdin MB, which makes Susannah's team at the very least quicker, if not cheaper, to build
@@negspiritogetting a second alladin set does not make them cheaper to build because then theyre not usable for genersl physical teams. Its better (for new players) to just use holmes on hos and horb for susannah unless theyre whaling and plan to maintain nirvana
Something to mention in terms of HoS viability is that if captains don't plan on retaining nirvana, HoS is usually preferred over HoRb for global red lotus temperatures for her faster opener. For lotus HP pulls the 10-15% DPS increase of HoRb over HoS doesn't amount to a full rotation almost ever. That being said, HoRb allows you to compensate for not having full DPS gear and also gives more future proofing in case temps increase. Another thing worth mentioning is HoRb with just weapon + best alternative set is barely an upgrade over full geat HoS so captains should plan their pulls accordingly
As for retaining nirvana physical weathers you will need good bracket rng if you don't pull for HoRb S.2 since S.2 is almost always a flat +30 points and that's absolutely massive

I recently got back after a 1 year long hiatus and was beyond overwhelmed by the amount of characters that were added and how much the meta had shifted. My main was Mobius before that so finding out she's now considered "old" was a bit sad. The same goes for some of my other well invested characters like Griseo, Senti, Fallen Rosemary. So I thought about it a bit and decided that this will be my goal moving forward.
Mobius (have full gear) - Eden (need weapon, crafting Hendel set atm) - Fischl (have bow, TurgTB MeiM) - > Fischl gets replaced by Herrscher of Truth later (need her and weapon)
Herrscher of Human (have weapon, need stigmata) - Sushang (need all gear) - Kira (need weapon, TurgTB MeiM)
Herrscher of Death (need her and all gear + outfit) - Senti (have gloves, budget support stigmata) - Griseo (have full gear)
Also I will get Nyx somehow for Quantum weathers. I have full Verne but lack her and her weapon.

A section/graphic showing pros/cons for valkyrie/weapon investment at the end of each section would be beneficial.
It helps to reiterate more (since this video is primarily geared towards newer/uneducated players with limited resources/time/money) that gearing towards farmable Valkyries/Weapons/Stigmata is preferred over chasing the latest Valkyrie on rotation and being unlucky to not be able to pull everything needed to make them work. Thankfully that was made very clear in the Fire DPS section that Sirin being strong and farmable entirely (with the exception of the weapon being a gacha pull only) made her more worthy of investing into, both due to her recent release and because it's legitimately possible to eventually get her to SSS rank in a timely manner for accounts spending minimal amounts (ex: Battle Pass + Monthly Card only)
A section/graphic showing usable off-elemental supports would also be useful. Herscher of Truth, Pardofelis, and Shigure Kira are all ice types but function well as a 3rd slot in most Fire teams. You did show Herrscher of Truth in the Fire section and how to gear her, but showing Pardofelis and Shigure Kira and how to gear them for supporting fire teams would also be welcome.
A section/graphic on how to support any give DPS would also be welcome. For example, we know that Herrscher of Rebirth and Prometheus are great physical supports, but players assuming that Valkyrie Quicksand can crit would mistake that Herrscher of Rebirth to be a must with Quicksand, even though Rebirth's 100% crit support doesn't apply to Valkyrie Quicksand. Additionally, early testing shows Starry Impressions Griseo will function well alongside Jedi Griseo in an upcoming patch, as a Bleed support. So Griseo functioning as a Bleed support/enabler is important to mention, especially since as an SP Valkyrie, her ranks can be grinded for over enough time.

This is definitely the best pull guide i've seen on youtube in a while, most of them just recommend you pull for ebery valf full gear in the last 5/next 2 patches, which isn't really feasible for any newbie/f2p.

I do gotta say that pulling for Susannah is still pretty good investment in most teams that has bleed, her stigmata is super powerful for support, and yea she’s been out for quite a while and she is an sp valk but still really good. not to mention she can cover a lot of the phys weathers if given the right support too but dont prioritise her first she’s gonna get powercrept (her stigs most likely won’t be)
yeah i shouldve mentioned in the vid but gearing up susannah is honestly worth just cause her stigs are good. Even lunar vow teams are using susannah stigs on Eden

@@rajamrifqi5764 I do agree to a certain extent but things like cez b, turg tb, Aladdin, are the exceptions I think hell turg has been our for almost 3 years and it's still a decent for rl you just gotta know which sets are good. Ai chan and kira's gear for example I highly don't recommend getting on the rerun unless 1 away from a full set so it truly depends

completely agree with u. Susanah is my lifesaver in Quantumn and Physical weather besides Bleed, I only have her signature weapon but that's more than enough for me. Really want Aladin set but I think it's too late, better prioritize later valks like adult Griseo.
I always loved Mei and I 4/4 HoO on release (it really helped that she was basically halfway done for free) and have been using her as a dps ever since. It's true that she's not the best, but I enjoy her gameplay more than HoT and am planning on S2 her on her next banner. Also I have HoFin and am going to get HoTr if I can to complete the trio
I came back from honkai after a 2 year break to find out that almost every valk needs their signature weapon XD
Nice video. However, I think ill be skipping pulling for any characters after depleting my resources for lunar vow (4/4 and herself). Pulling for HoTr still seems pretty good but then again, I think I should be saving up for Jedi Griseo and other future valks that might be coming out later on :D
I always encourage players to only use my video as a guide rather than a set in stone tutorial, do what you think will make you get the most enjoyable experience from this game!
Update: I got 4/4 on Jedi Griseo 😆 Im currently saving for new valks on 7.3 later on and skipping Fu Hua Phoenix 2.0
sort of unrelated, but would you recommend Dea Anchora or Sushang as the free valk choice? I'm instinctively tempted to go DA just because dudu but I also want the meta perspective. I'm new so I only really have HoHE and Argent Knight (and a few others like fallen rosemary etc), and none of them are super well-built.
Tbh sushang just to accelerate her rank up speed. But do whatever gets you the most enjoyment
bro, in HI3rd, latest herscher and their equipment is a must have. and the priority increase if they can support. non herscher dps valk usually last untill new valk from same coverage appears. but herscher valk can withstand meta for at least one year before powercrept

idk if you will see this but im new and have lunar vow fully geared. Which sp valk would be the best for me to invest in? Is Eden still good for me without her weapon/stigs
Eden is alright, u can farm for hendel set from the g4 mirage. You really want her weapon if possible though. For now, id say get Hotr next if you can. If you dont have enough crystals for HoTr and her gears, Ig just roll for the new upcoming griseo gears in 7.1
I was really torn between luna vow and horb but I got luna's weapon in free pull so I got luna. she is fun and once I get hotr in 7.1 she might be even better.

that's up to you. If you're new, it might be benefical to save and get hotr during the anniversary patch. If you already have balanced teams for every element, then u can go for it.

2. I feel like bleed dmg is becoming its whole new thing, like new type by itself, Luna being lightning type. Even with a physical team, it is necessary to build a bleed team comp in addition to a pure physical team ?
I dont know much about +80lvl abyss weathers and all, but are there bleed weathers ?
1. new griseo in 7.1 (next update) or the current griseo we have, but definitely get horb. horb is a massive DPS loss that cannot be replaced. Current griseo (starry impression) is probably better than new griseo for HoS tho
2. You can use ur bleed DPS (susannah) for both physical and bleed weathers. If you already have a physical team built, then yes, you will need a bleed DPS between susannah and lunar vow. Susannah is better but lunar vow is a decent alternative

Yeah, I mean if you have HoF gears, she still wont be bad for general fire weathers, but we haven't had fire weathers in a long time, only ignite weathers (which sirin excels in)
I gotta ask something after the fire section. I dont have Ai chans weapon but have all 3 pieces of her stigmata, is it still worth trying to get her weapon. or should i get it from other sources like the BP(when she is featured) or accidently get it as an off rate.
depends on what you want. If you wanna be top player, then get the weapon. Other wise, 3/3 stigmata with pardofelis weapon is more than enough to maintain red lotus, which is the 2nd highest rank in abyss.

you mind mentioning that Truth doesnt refresh Mei M off-field and that she doesnt "support" ice team. flexible stig option doesnt include Candy T, Mei Beach M and Newt B, her elemental supports and breaach are only for lightning and fire

I'd recommend Lunar Vow even if you had HoT fully built lol. She's a two-in-one package because she's both a great lightning support and a great DPS. If you're on a budget, try to get at least the valkyrie and her weapon and just settle on a different stigmata set. But if you can, fully gear her

If you're new then definitely either go for lunar vow or save for HoTr during the anniversary patch.
Only recommend you to not pull on lunar vow if you HoT is SS2 or SSS fully built with 7thunders. Lunar vow S0 outperforms HoT at most ranks and covers stages HoT covered and more. So if you need a new lighting dps go for luna, specially if your HoT has no gear
@@thunderanime27i'd recommend you to save for HoTr and her gear if you dont have her, supports have more value than dps. Lunar vow is a support for niche teams (aponia and mobi) which stages rarely appear in abyss anymore and are outdamaged by other valks. If you don't have HoTr save for her, if you do then pull for Lunar Vow ( thinking of her as a dps and not her support role)

Honestly I still use HoO as my General Lightning dps and she's honestly really fun,and definitely funner than HoT for me so maybe she'll get a buff at some point because she's kinda lackluster in terms of gameplay even in trio team
Unfortunately individual balls don't really get buffs :(. If they ever release a lightning support, it'll probably be a buff to all lightning teams which means lunar vow would still be the dominant dps

@@fandopompom save for the sp Valkyrie (grown up griseo) coming next patch. You don't need to pull for sp valkyries because they're free in the basic currency shop but you should pull for her gears

I'm still a new player and I have no idea if I still have to build teams for a specific class (like for physical, fire, ice teams etc.) So I ask this;
Can I build ONLY ONE team to carry me the entire game?
I searched everywhere and I don't have a clear answer of how different teams work.
the "entire game" is very vast. generally you can power through the story with one team and then find what you are lacking whenever you play a new game mode that you can't beat. you will usually need teams for each element at the very minimum.
If you want to be competitive in the abyss and memorial arena, then you need multiple different teams. The benefit to higher abyss and memorial arena rankings is more crystals and materials to rank up valkyries respectively. The crystal reward differences are pretty big too. In order to reach red lotus, which gives 400 crystals per rotation at level 80+. Red lotus is feasible for most players though since you just need a decent built team with varying alternate stigmatas for each team. Nirvana is usually what most players aim for (it's the highest rank in the game), but it only gives 420 crystals which is only a 20 crystal increase over red lotus

just get the respective SP unit for whatever team you're building rn. I'd probably recommend shigure kira though because she can be used for multielemental teams if you don't have herrscher of truth yet

hos has been relevant since her first ever patch so i'd say it's a worthy investment
but for new players, theres no reason to build her over HoRb rn unless they really like her (but this is a meta guide). I'd only consider her as a transitional support or DPS until they get HoRb

If you have 4/4 Lunar Vow, don't rank up GD and don't pull for HoTr. Start ranking up Kira instead to use with LV (SS minimum, SSS if you somehow have 4/4 gears) and save for the new sp valk coming in 7.1. You'll need ~20k crystals to get all her gears and she can be bought with Asterite. She is Lunar Vow's best support and makes her A LOT stronger.

PE is still good and hohe but you have to try to get them early so you can get weapon. Or use abyss and abyss flower
PE is meh especially when she is naked, the best value is kiana ELF/elysia ELF frag

If you get elf frags the most cost to output rato is to pull a single elf copy (kiana is very good as elf, or elysia) and then 3* them with event currency
2* unlock need 150 frags but 2* to 3* only 100 frags.

New Mobius team is lunar vow and herrscher of truth. However they have weird rotations since lunar vow and hotr don't have stacking buffs, so you need to alternate who ults per rotation. Usually I do LV ult first rotation, then hotr ult second rotation, and repeat

no, you're forsaking an entire valkyrie for rankups. Definitely just pull a meta unit like lunar vow or HoTr at that point.

Only if there aren't other valkyries you need to prioritize rn. If you have any unbuilt supports, finish them first. Otherwise, if you're set for supports, then go ahead and pull for brick and use it on HoS.
If we're talking fire teams HoF is still a really good dps for fire, you need her supports + her fully geared but if you really want to then do it, maintaining red lotus is really easy and can be done with flame scion also finality er. idk why this dude said she has fallen off her and sirin both do different things, sirin is more of an igniter while flame scion is more of a hard dps hitter. The only thing is sirin rank ups are free.

for story up to chapter 6, I recommend you just redeem honkai impact codes and use those 3 day trials for those SSS valkyries. Chapter 6 and afterwards, the story supplies you with trial valks that you MUST use.

You would rank down anyways even if you had susannah gears because without seele herrscher or herrscher of sentience, all physical DPSes included susannah are pretty bad

You should probably put a disclaimer that this is for low spenders, f2p should never pull a dps past their first rerun. Supports are debatable but if a new S rank support the older S rank support should be put on a “spender only” tier
Also you didnt mentioned kira on fire support even though you mentioned while knowing that kira fully powercrept pardo even on off elements support capabilities (other than phys i guess bcs kira give ele damage instead of tdm)
Sirin isnt that great as a fire dps, she is great as an ignite dps but as fire dps she is usable at best(youre not going to see anyone bruteforcing symphony weather with sirin). Sirin already win against SS spina when sirin is S1. Knowing MHY sirin weapon wont be on a rate up banner for at least another 6 months just like what they did with sushang and at that point we should already have another fire DPS so recommending to build sirin is a bit iffy (unless they only need fire team to finish their elemental coverage, but even then it’s debatable)
I'm kinda treating sirin as how Marisa honkai treated MPE. Basically since she only needs her weapon, it's always a decent investment for the long run. Also fire weathers just don't come up enough for me to recommend any of the other fire valks. There might be a new fire fu hua battlesuit soon or smth, who knows. But even if a new fire valk came around, I doubt mhy would give the fire dps ignite too. They seem to be separating niches for every element in order to make them usable long term, but also to drain us of more money lol
Sirin is farmsble and her higher ranks are kinda nuts, (ss2 for me RN)

New players not having access to her weapon means her damage plummets as far as SSS sirin with Purana can't beat S1 sirin with cutter
You're missing the point. Even if there's a new fire DPS in the future, sirin will most likely hold on to her ignite niche for a good while. Even if her weapon comes back in 6 months (but it likely will come back sooner since there's a bunch of events coming up), she will still be good value since you only need to roll for one piece of equipment.

I don't have half of these valks mentioned. Still using haxxor bunny and pardo for HoHE and that is completely fine.
Staying with SSSR support valks and keep you staying high longer than with these new SR valks, which drops over time. Besides I don't wanna play valks I don't like.

Although i get your point, i literally said that this guide is intended for people interested in the meta. Feel free to play the game how youd like, but many people enjoy playing for the meta (me included). Dont immedately assume that being a meta slave means we’re not having fun.
Also you can’t compare honkai impact to star rail and genshin, thats like comparing apples to oranges. Honkai impact has PvP aspects, the other two don’t. Honkai impact’s difficulty comes from competing with the other players. The other two comes from PvE content that can be cleared with any unit. Those games are meant to appeal to casual players. Honkai impact appeals to both casual and competitive players. Do not immediately dismiss competitive gameplay as wrong, that is ignorant.

I think u forget the fact that newcomers can just choose to stay at lvl 80 (not breaking through the ceiling) and still get the same amount of crystals in Agony III. That way there is 0 meta pressure

As long as they stick to lvl 80 abyss or Agony III then they don’t need to chase for every new character (unless they are whales). The crystals amount are the same in lvl 80 RL and Agony III anyway. A few more ancient legacy won’t really makes much difference becuz lvl 80 abyss won’t require high rank sushang or sirin to clear abyss XD

@@icon2719 I believe you've got it wrong. lvl 80 gets 100 crystals for completing the levels + 400 for retaining, or 420 in nirvana. It's 100 crystals over not breaking through. Players should definitely break through, because even if they're stuck in agony, they'll still make more crystals

Susannah also breaks physical bosses pretty reliably, even if shes not top score, she is GOOD on them.

Yeah I think hare's value has definitely diminished and I'll add info to my pinned comment based on your feedback. I wish I had time to talk more about Susannah stigmata. However I don't see how I completely lied about susannah? It's true that without her 3/3 stigmata, her damage falls off considerably, and we still weren't sure if she would outdo lunar vow for pishacha. It's hard for me to recommend susannah as a must pull to new players since her full gears are vital to her performance whereas other valks can at least use alternatives and their damage doesn't plummet as hard. Plus with new griseo coming out for 7.1, who is tailor made for lunar vow (don't get me wrong, she will support susannah too), but it's hard to tell if she will completely outdo lunar vow in bleed weathers. I'm willing to eat my words if I'm wrong in the end, but if a player already has lunar vow, they already have a good alternative for bleed weathers in case they don't wanna roll to gear an sp valk after their initial banner.
@@BaoPham2 alladdin should be pulled even for Luna cow players + Susannah is an sp, she's low investment for really high neutral damage output below exalted.
Her stigmata are important yes, but they are so important that other bleed dmg (Luna / Darth Griseo) need alladdin. Susannah also clears quantum for beginners, there isn't any other beginner friendly qua Valk tbh (nyx is more expensive for almost no coverage, vill V only has kosma)
Pisacha needs stacked bleeds, Luna can't stack bleed to 9 like Susannah + griseo (smol) can.
I really don't see how an sp Valk with the back one for bleed dmg stigma set isnt a great investment. Even if she should fall off a bit, the alladdin set will be insanely powerful for a long time.
We are getting a free senti next patch, so the best time forow investment beginners to have a usable phys team. Is now :D
while I agree alladin set is very strong, rolling an entire set can cost 100+ rolls worth of crystals. Keep in mind this guide is meant for NEW players. For veterans, sure, alladin is very good. However, I think new players should focus on building entire new upcoming valkyries and supports. Although susannah is still very strong, her future outlook is not good because she's been out for 7 months now and mhy does not usually let dps valks last this long (otehr than herrschers). I'd feel very hesitant to recommend a valk released 7 months ago thats a DPS. I also don't think her stigs is on the same level as the must pulls (horb, hotr, maybe lunar vow). Keep in mind that you and I are both at end game levels of the game, and our needs are different than theirs. Also alladin set isn't a need. I've seen many top 100 players in MA get away with just holmes set for Horb (myself included). I will admit that they're usually in the lower half, but it is not the same priority as the must pulls. No one should be considering susannah or her stigs before at least having horb

I give up on the game... jesus .. I do not have the time or money to chase the godamn meta.. or even farm the free stigmata, etc.. considering how long it takes to farm at the foundary... i started playin like 6-7 months ago.. this is way too overwhelming.. I guess ill just enjoy what i can from the story and leave the game at that..
I do not understand how new players are supposed to keep up with most of the meta..i guess you have to no-life the game as a f2p.😓
meta is having huge changes in 7.3 so id say its actually a good time to start thanks to part 2
