so awesome. that's my favorite of links shirts. I think if I try it I'll probably get a loser/wider shirt with longer sleeves to make it look more like the one in game.

+HappyAtom i used that same paint on some flags, after about 2 hours making my own custom stencil, i used the paint, and ruined my flag! i had to make a whole new flag! and by then i had exhausted my budget and had to just use a blank flag! if i ever make another flag, ill definitely use the vinyl. :(

I always was a fan of the Wind Waker lobster shirt. If and when I try this I think I may use a long t-shirt to get the effect that Link's lobster shirt has in the game.

I've been planning on making this recently. I am gonna try using bleach on a sponge and dabbing around a card stencil. Bleach removes pretty much all the colour from a shirt if you get it on your shirt, So I am hoping it will work. I'll comment back once I do it

Does the vinyl start to wear and tear after so many washes? Many of my favorite shirts are vinyl and look pretty chippy becuase i wear them so often ;-;

I used an image of a blank gameboy screen and made the image overlay in Adobe Illustrator.

Also, I tried using the Vinyl technique for my shirt but the image came out as dark blue rather then white so I had to paint over it.
The image had to be changed to a very light gray as printing white doesn't work but do you know why that may be? I used this (bit.ly/22Eeyoa)

Great video, great tutorial. I'll defintely be coming back to this video when I put my Wind Waker Link costume together. One question, though, if I may. In the past, I've used vinyl to print a rectangular shape with text onto a T-shirt and, after only one washing, I found the quality of my work to be extremely lacking.
My question is: how would you wash this shirt (or any other shirt with a homemade vinyl Lobster design printed onto it) and can you take steps to avoid throwing a shirt like this in the trash after several bouts in the washing machine? I'd love to have a shirt like this one, but I'm not anxious to put the time and effort into making it only to throw it away after several days/weeks/months. Thanks.

In the end, I used fabric paint and filled in the blanks of the cutout provided by HappyAtom. It turned out good, but now I'm scared it'll all wash off haha. I'll Google what to do with that once I get the time.
Would anyone know the color of this certain blue?? I'm trying to get this blue, but there are so many. Every blue so far has not matched this particular blue.
Couldn't you just spot-bleach it with the stencil?
I feel like the bleach would spread under the stencil.
