I have a relative that is a nurse. She moved out of Maine because she says the hospitals are run by incompetence and she cannot be a part of it. She says only people who don't know any better work in Maine. She pointed out how malpractice is out of control in Maine and she didn't want to be dragged down and thrown in the wringer for someone else's mistake. The Ellsworth hospital changed it's name because of the malpractice reputation.
Oh wow, I am so glad I came across this. I live in Illinois with my family, I finish nursing school this Summer and I was looking into moving to Maine in the near future. Hmmm, then I started researching the nursing field in Maine, came across many videos regarding such, and whoa, I am rethinking this now...what a shame , I was excited to possibly move there.
@@NessaVibes2024 If you like medical malpractice, low wages, endless taxes, predator cops, crooked courts, vindictive DHHS employees in your life, rude local people, ticks falling from the trees, bed bugs, endless black fly's, swarms of mosquitoes, high humidity in the summer and cold & snow for 6 months out of the year you might love the place. Maine has turned into a despicable place to live, work or raise children.

@@NessaVibes2024 My relative has worked in nursing all over the New England area. She moved to Florida to find work a a decent hospital. She as I will never set foot anywhere near the New England area because of the corruption that goes on in all levels of society there.
