@@b3arwithm3 I use a wood glue from an Italian company that has been producing adhesives for over sixty years. (Saratoga - I am not sponsored) I dilute it by 10% because it is extremely thick and difficult to spread especially on large surfaces.
I hope that jig for holding the drill wit the sander disc is coming as a video as well, I imagine it having lots of uses with several attachments for th drill
As I explained at the end of the video, I recommend using wooden dowels instead of metal tubes, due to the little friction that metal provides. I have been using this system for more than two years and it has not given me any problems. Thanks for your thoughts, I really appreciate it.
Hardware store usually have 20mm available, if not go ahead with the metal one and than scrape it with some 60 grit sand paper as I did for mine@@GIBBGalek
They are beautiful. Better than those in store
Building your own tools is always rewarding.
Thanks for your kind thoughts, I appreciate it.
@@LTMS just curious, what kind of glue did you use? It looked like construction glue from the color of it but it didn't look as thick.

Let's say it's a prototype, I made it in 10 minutes because i needed a quick sander, but I have few ideas in mind
Thats perfect idea, so easy and very handy to use. Respect!
I was looking for a way to turn the desk into a small workbench, and this is a discreet solution. I have an upgrade in mind, we'll see what I can do 😉
@@LTMS If I can do it better, I'll let you know :)
Very good project. Keep going my friend 👍🙂🤝
Thank you for your appreciation, keeping going is part of the plan 😉
How was the wooden dowel drilled, did I miss something in the video?
I did a magic trick at 5:34
(it's just a hole made with a drill, there's nothing special to see)
Saluting your work. I wonder if the the tubes are strong enough for long use? I plan to use steel tubes from curtain rod set (IKEA).

@@LTMStrue that, but for me it is easier to use a 19mm steel tube than to make a 19mm wooden rod at the moment 😀

Very clever. But fast and easy? No.
Indeed there are quite a few steps to do, but nothing too difficult, just have a little patience.
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.
