OMG finally, I know y'all wanted to Run for Roses, but that's their it performance video so I thought it could be on a future listen in the future or a discord listen. We only get 5 suggestions.
As far as 0.0 goes the reason why it's so disjointed is because JYP had like 15 different producers work on the track so it's a bunch of different genres mixed together just because they wanted them to basically go viral for all the wrong reasons to highlight N+MIXX. Also , they're a little Coke ad in there bc they were the sponsor.

Mixing and changing are 2 different things. They should be called nchange bc the mixing is lowkey bad lol. Mix = blended and there was nothing blended or transitioned well in their songs. Personally I love some of their songs like dice and sonar but I’m not gonna pretend the transitions are good lol
@@keke835 I didn't enjoy O.O and DICE when they came out because the changes were not that good. But DASH is just SO GOOD. For once the changes were good, not that risky, but good. And it's the song that they trashed the most. And then they said DICE was better when it's probably the one with the most bad changes (that's why it's called DICE)

I actually don't prefer them doing generic songs or songs that sound the same from start to finish. I think their change ups are what makes them different, and I like when they stick to their brand. It may be confusing at first, which caused the INSANE backlash on their debut, but people are warming to their concept now, to the point that they're starting to understand it, and I can see that a lot of the fans are actually expecting them to do the change ups in each comeback now, and miss it (even complain) when there isn't one. 😄
You can understand the concept, yet still hate the execution. O.O is a terrible song regardless of their concept. That's just an objective truth. It's a complete mess.

So I hear what you’re saying, but as a kpop fan for over 10 years, they really were a breath of fresh air from the trends or safe paths of cute, girlcrush, or empowerment. All great but I got into kpop in second gen when things were more experimental, playful, and full of new spunds. If I wanted to listen to pop, the western market is pretty full of great artist. F(x), 2ne1, and GG were the groups that called to me with their different concepts. Nmixx is not meant to have the most well composed songs, but to see how far they can push boundaries of what kpop is in my opinion. 🐋⚓️🔭
COOL is literally one of my favorite songs💜💜💜 mostly because I can enjoy their vocals in a calm way without having to distract myself with all the instruments the other songs have😅
the critiques are definitely valid and well said. O.O definitely felt like the change ups were made for shock value, but the more you progress through their songs, the more that it's actually starting to work and become catchy. This slowly but surely progression made me get into Nmixx more

"O.O" is their debut song, even the members got weirded out at the first listen, they said that in a interveiw, but they also said that the more they listened and practiced to it the more they loved the song because of these unique features that it has. Btw it's literally in their name "nMIXx" they have mix/switch up in almost every song, it is what they are known for other than being the best 4th gen vocalists, everyone can support in this group, and they are amazing dancers too. You should check their "Stage Practice" videos, because these videos are impressive. Their switch up in "Dice" is probably one of their most famous one, because of the switch up itself and also because of the dance that Kyujin did at the beginning of the verse! For "Love Me Like This" this is the one you should definitely watch the "Stage Practice", is their most popular one, and you are gonna see why if you watch it! The bridge for me is incredible, Haewon and Lily are incredible in that part, especially when you see them live!
Nmixx has one of the better vocal lines in the 4th generation of kpop, I know you react to music videos but you certantly have to hear them live, they are amazing ❤
tbh I expected this type of reaction because this is what most people felt when first getting into NMIXX. There is no reason to defend it, its like an aquired taste. Also these songs go alot harder when live performed. I hope this wasnt the last time we see NMIXX on here. We did most of the MIXXPOP songs, so now you could check out the more focused tracks like Party o clock, rollercoaster or young dumb stupid or maybe some B sides like run for roses and BOOM WHICH ARE INCREDIBLE BTW.
Great honest opinions. Their mix is controversial. What keeps me rooting for them are the girls themselves. So dedicated and talented. I know Kazinho mentions the MVs do nothing for him so I really hope you get to watch a stage practice and hear their live vocals and dance. As you noticed, they really are performers
I think this order in which they listened to the songs broke a little of the group's construction. If Dash had been the last song on the list and Sonar had been replaced by Party O'Clock, the message at the end would have had more impact. It turns out that the group has a lore that is passed through separate videos, with the MV's being used to place themselves in some mentioned place. That's why many things in the MV's may seem strange or just placed randomly. In fact, it is because they are alternating between realities. If I were to recommend 5 of their songs to you, in addition to the ones you've heard, they would be: 1. "Cool (Your Rainbow)" 2. "Young, Dumb, Stupid" 3. "Roller Coaster" (my favorite) 4. "Paxxword" 5. "Run For Roses" All of these have clips, except for the last one, which is a performance video Sorry for the English from Google Translate 😅
Just because you shouldn't doesn't mean you don't. A lot of people at first were also very hesitant with their MIXX-POP as they describe it whether there is a purposeful change up. And yes you can argue "classically" it doesn't work. But the more I listened to their stuff - it was such a departure from formula that I fell in love with the songs. I found myself waiting for those moments and unknowingly responding "NMIXXXX CHANGE UP" -- So music can evolve of course, and certain movements need time for others to catch up to it. Of course, ya'll are entitled to your opinion - but I think we all could stand to benefit from keeping an open mind rather than shutting down potential growth because the old doesn't match up with the new. P.S. What I found striking was, though the change up doesn't match in continuity, musically, what's there is great in isolation. Then you start to appreciate both sides as separate entities - part of one song.

If you liked a certain part of O.O better, NMIXX did a thing at a concert or something where they had them as two different songs "Superhero" (the change up part as a song) and "Baila" (the other part of the song as a seperate song)

i think kpop stans or people who are a bit deeper into kpop tend to water down their opinions to prevent the harsh feedback they could potentially get. because of that, kpop reactors in general don’t say what’s actually on their mind unless the song actually was garbage to anybody who listens to it. besides kazinho, the only two other channels i know that give their genuine opinions are fifizappa reacts and koko3op

O.O is for people who is used to mixxpop genre. So I think, you should've listened to O.O last, but yea mixxpop isn't really an explored genre in k-pop yet, so they're one of the firsts. That's why some people are still not a fan of their music, but they are slowly getting recognized, because some people are actually getting interested in mixxpop genre. Preferences my dude. But you don't have to get swayed by others' opinions too if you truly like something. You can like whatever you want, even if the majority have negative opinions about it. You can disagree to others' disagreement. I personally love NMIXX's songs, ESPECIALLY the ones with change ups. Loved O.O at first listen (not even a stan) and I won't be shy to admit it even in front of hundreds of haters of that beautiful fucking mess of a song.

Thats the real nmixx experience, at the start its really jarring but the more you listen to their songs without thinking about it too much, they get to you, well atleast thats how they got me. Also most of their bsides are absolute bangers and most dont have change ups like the title tracks, which is somewhat a shame since nmixx are only known for having bad discography but in reality their bsides are almost TT-worthy namely run for roses, roller coaster, cool.
FINALLY!! Also I don't see O.O as a "song" (even though its banging) i more see it as a teaser of the upcoming group. It was supposed to make noise and make people intriuged and show off their capabilities more than be catchy and an easy listen.
Sure but why not make a intriguing AND catchy “teaser”? Also O.O is most definitely not even in top5 songs that showcase the true talent of the girls, especially vocally imo. They’re truly an all rounded group (even tho I’m not a fan of the rap but it’s still considered good by kpop standards) with every member being at the very least decent. I don’t think this “any press is good press” idea works for everything and if JYPE did this on purpose then it was a really dumb choice cause ever since O.O it feels like nmixx is expected to clear up their rep and show they can make good music, their fans might disagree but this is what a lotta people think. Their debut chart wise didn’t do well and many people already lost interest. I doubt majority of the people who dragged them cause of O.O are checking out their comebacks to see what they’re doing now but rather not paying attention to them very much. So if the plan was to make people interested for a long time then I don’t it worked. These are just my assumptions based on what i saw, no hate to the members, i just don’t like the choices the company and the producers made.
Also I think Ash chose more of the popular and "different" songs some other very very good Nmixx songs are run for roses, party o'clock, rollercoaster, cool (your rainbow)
Run for roses, boom, rollercoaster, party o' clock are great suggestions. But their must-see are their stage practices!! In their last mixx University concerts, they performed full versions of the two songs mixed in O.O you could check them too!
Nmixx Songs are really special. Each one is a new Experience. I wouldn't say I liked each of them at first listening, but now I think I love them all. Also, MVs are sometimes really distracting for the change-up parts. O.O is so much easier to listen to, without the MV. Especially if the Concepts go from dark to pinky. Also, I really recommend listening to B-Sides and their Stage Performances. Not every song from them is like the Title Tracks. And their Vocals are just out of this World.

My two favorite nmixx songs, Run for Roses and Rollercoaster, how could neither of them be mentioned. I would have asked them to react to Dash and Love me Like This, but for just getting into Nmixx I would never ask someone to react to O.O, like that’s crazy.
I watched this knowing I’d laugh on what they’d say 😭. Nmixx is knowing to be one of the most talented groups in kpop and their mixpop is so unique and people who say it’s “too much” like this guy did Really just don’t get it. So interesting how this channel likes to focus on the negativity of kpop as if there’s not enough of it in the industry. I understand wanting to see an opposing side to kpop but for what ? Ig for each their own but wow so interesting.
O.k listen, It is one thing to dislike something and pass on a song but......the dude in the baseball cap is arrogant smug and cynical. He has made his mind up on the first song and watches with a grudge to rest of their songs. Yes their debut song o:o was different and seemed all over the place. They started out with a concept as a lot of K pop producers do, He tried to create a new sound by the "Mix up" in all their songs. It's their thing. It was not for everyone and didn't critically do well. I had a different take, I think they were trying too hard to show all of the different styles they can work with in one song, a sample. The trouble is it was so jarring in the transition that it was erratic and didn't flow. That aside some of the verses were really good when you realize what they are doing. You cannot fault their vocals. The range and quality is there, production not so much. O.k moving on. for ALL of the other songs hat guy was basically the "Grinch". He had that pinched up look of distaste for every song except Love me like this. I can't respect anyone's criticism when they are unable to let go of a song they didn't care for and treat each song negatively instead of separately with fresh eyes. He made the remark that all their songs were just a gimmick. Um. what he and his friend fail to realize is that their entire reaction page reeks of a gimmick and has been done to death. The Open minded fair and impartial guy and then the villain reactor who acts like he is so wise and "JUst tells the truth like it or not" Good cop/bad cop, Siskel and Ebert, Burt and Ernie ect ect. Their claim that NMIXX is not original could easily be said about their reactions. The Good cop and his partner in crime was more likeable and fair and did seem able to differentiate between songs. Nmixx members are actually one of the best vocalist as well their live singing is incredibly amazing and I totally recommend to listen to Run for roses

nmixx really grew on me, i hated O.O at first. but i love songs that are kind of a bit stupid, and over time i just began to appreciate the craziness of their music

O.O was definitely divisive upon its release. Some stated it was the worst debut ever. (I happened to harbor some of those thoughts). But I love the midsection of that song, which another UA-camr made into a full video. I enjoyed Love Me Like This and ran across a video where the young ladies went on a vacation trip together. After that, I was sold. News young ladies have such personality and talent that you would not believe! This latest album which included Dash, Soñar and Run for Roses has really elevated them in the hierarchy of 4th generation girl groups. I'm sure there may be debate, but Lily is probably the vocalist of the 4th generation girl groups, and and Kyujin is an out of this world performer.
Nmixx isn’t for everyone, their song is all about mixing diff vibes. Ppl who don’t know how to appreciate such mixes, shouldn’t be into Nmixx in the first place and start saying things like how they don’t like it.
I would reccomend reacting to nmixx again and nmixx doesn’t always use change up soñar is a song I think they used the change up the best as well . They do have albums and there recent mini album with Dash and Soñar is there best album imo . Their vocals are out of this world . Feel like I’m one of the only ppl that liked nmixx first listen lol. I absolutely love the change ups they do in their songs, I love the quirky vocals, and just in general love all their music. I think the main thing for me tho is that they are good vocalists. If they weren’t good vocalist and tried to pull this off I don’t think it would work.
thank you for reacting to nmixx! as a kpop fan since 2nd gen, imo this is new (i love exploring new things) & i love that kpop always brings something new to the table. the first day i listened to nmixx debut song actually made me confused too but the more i listen to it, I AM ADDICTED TO IT! they got lots of hate from the first day of their debut, but as the O.O lyrics said, they kinda expected the reaction of netizens towards their songs but that doesn't stop them to bring people out from the mindset that "kpop should be this & that". they are called NMIXX for a reason, they experiment with a new type of song & they love what they're doing. they didn't get any wins, not until Dash era. It takes time for netizens to accept how their songs are so i am so proud that they finally got the recognition!

I think this order in which they listened to the songs broke a little of the group's construction. If Dash had been the last song on the list and Sonar had been replaced by Party O'Clock, the message at the end would have had more impact.
It turns out that the group has a lore that is passed through separate videos, with the MV's being used to place themselves in some mentioned place. That's why many things in the MV's may seem strange or just placed randomly. In fact, it is because they are alternating between realities.

Just because you shouldn't doesn't mean you don't. A lot of people at first were also very hesitant with their MIXX-POP as they describe it whether there is a purposeful change up. And yes you can argue "classically" it doesn't work. But the more I listened to their stuff - it was such a departure from formula that I fell in love with the songs. I found myself waiting for those moments and unknowingly responding "NMIXXXX CHANGE UP" -- So music can evolve of course, and certain movements need time for others to catch up to it. Of course, ya'll are entitled to your opinion - but I think we all could stand to benefit from keeping an open mind rather than shutting down potential growth because the old doesn't match up with the new.
P.S. What I found striking was, though the change up doesn't match in continuity, musically, what's there is great in isolation. Then you start to appreciate both sides as separate entities - part of one song.

If you liked a certain part of O.O better, NMIXX did a thing at a concert or something where they had them as two different songs "Superhero" (the change up part as a song) and "Baila" (the other part of the song as a seperate song)

i think kpop stans or people who are a bit deeper into kpop tend to water down their opinions to prevent the harsh feedback they could potentially get. because of that, kpop reactors in general don’t say what’s actually on their mind unless the song actually was garbage to anybody who listens to it. besides kazinho, the only two other channels i know that give their genuine opinions are fifizappa reacts and koko3op

O.O is for people who is used to mixxpop genre. So I think, you should've listened to O.O last, but yea mixxpop isn't really an explored genre in k-pop yet, so they're one of the firsts. That's why some people are still not a fan of their music, but they are slowly getting recognized, because some people are actually getting interested in mixxpop genre.

You can disagree to others' disagreement. I personally love NMIXX's songs, ESPECIALLY the ones with change ups. Loved O.O at first listen (not even a stan) and I won't be shy to admit it even in front of hundreds of haters of that beautiful fucking mess of a song.
Their later song is best quality. Dash, Sonar, Run for Roses, Passionfruit, Love me like and Roller Coester is pretty great.

Thats the real nmixx experience, at the start its really jarring but the more you listen to their songs without thinking about it too much, they get to you, well atleast thats how they got me. Also most of their bsides are absolute bangers and most dont have change ups like the title tracks, which is somewhat a shame since nmixx are only known for having bad discography but in reality their bsides are almost TT-worthy namely run for roses, roller coaster, cool.

FINALLY!! Also I don't see O.O as a "song" (even though its banging) i more see it as a teaser of the upcoming group. It was supposed to make noise and make people intriuged and show off their capabilities more than be catchy and an easy listen.
Sure but why not make a intriguing AND catchy “teaser”? Also O.O is most definitely not even in top5 songs that showcase the true talent of the girls, especially vocally imo. They’re truly an all rounded group (even tho I’m not a fan of the rap but it’s still considered good by kpop standards) with every member being at the very least decent.
I don’t think this “any press is good press” idea works for everything and if JYPE did this on purpose then it was a really dumb choice cause ever since O.O it feels like nmixx is expected to clear up their rep and show they can make good music, their fans might disagree but this is what a lotta people think. Their debut chart wise didn’t do well and many people already lost interest. I doubt majority of the people who dragged them cause of O.O are checking out their comebacks to see what they’re doing now but rather not paying attention to them very much. So if the plan was to make people interested for a long time then I don’t it worked.
These are just my assumptions based on what i saw, no hate to the members, i just don’t like the choices the company and the producers made.
Also I think Ash chose more of the popular and "different" songs some other very very good Nmixx songs are run for roses, party o'clock, rollercoaster, cool (your rainbow)
Run for roses, boom, rollercoaster, party o' clock are great suggestions. But their must-see are their stage practices!! In their last mixx University concerts, they performed full versions of the two songs mixed in O.O you could check them too!

Nmixx Songs are really special. Each one is a new Experience. I wouldn't say I liked each of them at first listening, but now I think I love them all. Also, MVs are sometimes really distracting for the change-up parts. O.O is so much easier to listen to, without the MV. Especially if the Concepts go from dark to pinky.
Also, I really recommend listening to B-Sides and their Stage Performances. Not every song from them is like the Title Tracks.
And their Vocals are just out of this World.

O.o is a total grower. I hated it for months before it started to become one of favorites.
O.k listen, It is one thing to dislike something and pass on a song but......the dude in the baseball cap is arrogant smug and cynical. He has made his mind up on the first song and watches with a grudge to rest of their songs. Yes their debut song o:o was different and seemed all over the place. They started out with a concept as a lot of K pop producers do, He tried to create a new sound by the "Mix up" in all their songs. It's their thing. It was not for everyone and didn't critically do well. I had a different take, I think they were trying too hard to show all of the different styles they can work with in one song, a sample. The trouble is it was so jarring in the transition that it was erratic and didn't flow. That aside some of the verses were really good when you realize what they are doing. You cannot fault their vocals. The range and quality is there, production not so much. O.k moving on. for ALL of the other songs hat guy was basically the "Grinch". He had that pinched up look of distaste for every song except Love me like this. I can't respect anyone's criticism when they are unable to let go of a song they didn't care for and treat each song negatively instead of separately with fresh eyes. He made the remark that all their songs were just a gimmick. Um. what he and his friend fail to realize is that their entire reaction page reeks of a gimmick and has been done to death. The Open minded fair and impartial guy and then the villain reactor who acts like he is so wise and "JUst tells the truth like it or not" Good cop/bad cop, Siskel and Ebert, Burt and Ernie ect ect. Their claim that NMIXX is not original could easily be said about their reactions. The Good cop and his partner in crime was more likeable and fair and did seem able to differentiate between songs. O.O was definitely divisive upon its release. Some stated it was the worst debut ever. (I happened to harbor some of those thoughts). But I love the midsection of that song, which another UA-camr made into a full video. I enjoyed Love Me Like This and ran across a video where the young ladies went on a vacation trip together. After that, I was sold. News young ladies have such personality and talent that you would not believe! This latest album which included Dash, Soñar and Run for Roses has really elevated them in the hierarchy of 4th generation girl groups. I'm sure there may be debate, but Lily is probably the vocalist of the 4th generation girl groups, and and Kyujin is an out of this world performer.
I think you should start doing solo idols' reactions too, I recommend Chungha, she's very talented and has songs that are worth listening to.

I think the main thing for me tho is that they are good vocalists. If they weren’t good vocalist and tried to pull this off I don’t think it would work.
thank you for reacting to nmixx! as a kpop fan since 2nd gen, imo this is new (i love exploring new things) & i love that kpop always brings something new to the table. the first day i listened to nmixx debut song actually made me confused too but the more i listen to it, I AM ADDICTED TO IT! they got lots of hate from the first day of their debut, but as the O.O lyrics said, they kinda expected the reaction of netizens towards their songs but that doesn't stop them to bring people out from the mindset that "kpop should be this & that". they are called NMIXX for a reason, they experiment with a new type of song & they love what they're doing. they didn't get any wins, not until Dash era. It takes time for netizens to accept how their songs are so i am so proud that they finally got the recognition!
