I say do it up with the white! you've had that black Tundra, which was bad-ass, now do a white build. Plus, if you start to not like it as much later, you can always jazz it up with custom graphics of whatever color. anything goes with white! That's what I did with my full scale Ford Explorer: Electric Lime Green accents with black and silver touches here and there.
Pieter84 has got a great idea, I've watched a lot of Ronny Dahl's videos and his rig is a 79 series Land Cruiser. His is almost a gunmetal grey color, looks pretty sweet.

AsiaTees and Team Raffee rocks, I got the land rover 90 pickup body, ordered same day of discovering it, wanted the back rounded windows that no one offered, I was blown away at the scale and realism these offer, I later ordered a mix of parts from asiatees and RC4WD like bumpers, warn 8274 winch (just awesome!), metal vents, metal grill with badge etc, they so well compliment the rover, lie you I am blown away whats going on at HK and here in US with RC4WD, its neat. I would stick with white, these trucks main color scheme was white, you find them in white all over!

as an Aussie, Atees is very handy. I'm in Perth so delivery is very quick! they have awesome cheap alternatives! be warned, Boomracing products are cheap and the metals are a bit soft but the finish is excellent! the prices are excellent compared to say, pro-line or RC4WD equivalent. "killer body" are an example of top quality though. they range from around $70 australian to around $165 Australian for a fully equipped body with all the trimmings. i do a lot of RC shopping at Atees that's for sure.

Looking forward to this build, you see this model in Africa and Australia with the back as a trayback or flatbed with a roll hoop just behind the cab, so a box body or camper back can be fitted depending on the use you need like a workshop body during the week and expedition vehicle at the weekend and vacations.
Yeah would be nice to see a couple of build videos. The Land Cruiser body looks so nice and now my SCX10 II kit is built Im already planning next winters project,TF2 with the Cruiser body or maybe the Gelande II and Team Raffee Defender D110 Pickup body, I have a good few months to make my mind up lol

Medic, I would like to get into trailing and I am unsure of what I should get. I have it narrowed down to two rc's, the axial deadbolt and the axial wraith or maybe you have a suggestion for me instead of those two. The conditions that I would be trailing in would be in a shallow Creek with a lot of rocks and some trees that have fallen over the Creek. Thank you for your help.

Looks just like building a regular model car. You may be done with it already, but I'd be interested in seeing at least some of what goes into building one. I've been considering an Axial with a chevy square hard body kit.

I love hard bodies for scale looks. If we're bashing around 50+mph off jumps, lexan is far less explosive, lol.

Check out Ronny Dahl, it's an offroad channel, you might get some great ideas for the looks of this landcruiser.
