John taught me how to become and be a Christian! What a Godly man of God! Thank you John!

For 17 years I was a member of a cult and one Sunday morning I walked into a Vineyard and I found freedom and began developing a relationship with Jesus. All of the baggage I brought with me began to get unpacked as people loved on me and did what Jesus did, accept me as I was but seeing me as I could be without the baggage. The cult I was in before focused on a man and his teachings but in the Vineyard I found a focus on what God was doing through Jesus by way of the Holy Spirit.

I am a Mormon but am currently setting my “Book of Mormon” aside and searing only the Bible. I want to not only witness signs and wonders but also to perform them through the heart and hands of Jesus.

@@iowaguy6470 you’re not the only one! Many Mormons have stepped away from Book of Mormon and reading the Bible. It’s a move of the Holy spirit! ✝️🙏🏽

I so appreciate the legacy John Wimber left to the church to really help us grow into "who we really are meant to be"....

@algallego There is absolutely nothing artificial about the Holy Spirit and an encounter with Him is more 'real' and more transforming than anything any of us could ever experience in this world. God loves 'these people' and gave them great value through the death of His Own Son... God gave John Wimber some awesome 'Kingdom' keys and I for one am more than happy to pick them up and run with them...naturally as the Berean lining them up with the Word of Truth, my Teacher and Counsellor.

@JoshuaChes You're right.. I don't remember Jesus telling us to curse anyone.. Wimber and the Vineyard/music has been soooo much of a blessing.. coming from Africa, i can attest to these things..

No mention of Lonnie Frisbee. Without Lonnie, most wouldn’t know John.

@ NBOC777 I don't think Jesus ever commended cursing anyone.

I feel that the interviewer of this interview, really led the conversation too much and interrupted Christy too much. It really distracted me, and I think it did not allow Christy to fully explain the depth of her thoughts.

You are so horribly wrong, I can only assume that you are a non-Christian. I mean a tare rather than wheat, goat rather than sheep. I will tell you how to qualify for heaven or hell: read the words of Jesus in Matthew 24 and 25.

If not for Lonnie Frisbee, neither Calvary Chapel, nor The Vineyard, would exist. See Frisbee: The Life and Death of a Hippie Preacher.

These people seem to push this artificial spiritual experience, based on their music. Does this sound like a cult marketing its materials or merchandise?-- because if it isn't, then I don't know what is!

Left one cult for another. Funny.
