    Great job Luke. I love how you just let her go on and didn't get in the way of the flow of the interview. You brought out the best of Mrs. Wimber. Such a rich treasure.

    My folks were early members of the church and my mother is dear friends with Carol and Penny. Tonight a group of people are going to see Jesus Revolution and I’m sure there will be a lot of very fond and moving memories. God bless all those women of the Vineyard I have been the recipient of so many of their prayers as I have struggled with my health over the years and I love and appreciate everyone of them❤.

    It was a wonderful experience, being led to the Vineyard Anaheim back in the 1990s. I loved the "doing the stuff" attitude that put all who would, get down and dirty in the trenches in Spiritual warfare. Life would never be the same after that.

    Wow, the last few minutes of this is something most mega churches rely on.... music and emotion.
    I remember when John Wimber came to Singapore for the "Power Encounter Conference" and it was just like what Carol Wimber described, John Wimber would have the room quiet and just simply say "Come Holy Spirit", and a wave would flood the room. No music, no emotional words, no nothing but just the utterance "Come Holy Spirit" in the midst of quietness. And people would start falling and speaking in tongues, and it was no reliance on any human stirring but purely the move of the Holy Spirit.

    24:00 the way you heal people is by telling them the Gospel which promises eternal life in heaven by his son Jesus Christ being the sacrifice for our sins which lead to death but in Christ there is healing of those inquiries in eternal glory

    So with all the miracles and healing gifts, and intimacy with God, why is/was everyone afflicted with sicknesses and diseases, John, Carol, and others?

    • @carolzcarolz
      @carolzcarolz Рік тому

      I'm watching all of the old stuff from back in the day, and reliving / remembering it all, as a this is just so wonderful, but it's just troubling, the sicknesses.

    • @heidibrown997
      @heidibrown997 Рік тому +2

      God is good, God heals, saves, delivers, keeps His Word. Why sickness then afflicted and does still, is not for us to know. It is for them to know. It does Not negate the Word of God. And if sin was the issue, did Jesus make known what that sin was? If He did not, let us be silent. Let us just follow where he followed God. And that was quite a testimony.

    Can anyone out there tell me why John Wimber betrayed his close friend Lonnie Frisbee, how could he ruin Lonnie's life so that he eventually died! So tragic that a close friend betrays a close friend in that way! Lonnie could still be a blessing for us !! SOOOO SAD. John Wimber a man used bye God but at the same time rebuke a LORDS MINISTER. So sad.
