So, a couple funny things about the OG game right? The Destroy all monsters cheat permanently locks both Monsters at Level 8 Your energy meter refill speed depends on how much health you currently have, which means that if you're level 16, but you have the current health equivalent of being at level 4, you'll have the Energy regeneration speed from being at level 4 And lastly In the JPN/PAL Versions of the game, Godzilla punches alot slower and Bosses have very very minor differences
A Chip n Dale implements this greatly, background has to be removed to draw large characters in that layer to bypass sprite limit, in that game there's a ghost boss and the background being unloaded and loaded to make the ghost phase in and out really adds to the atmosphere
The background has to be always black because godzilla's sprite doesnt have eyes (only floating pupils) because a nes sprite can only have 3 colours at once
If only we had a system in place back in the day to enter passwords that quickly and efficiently...River City Ransom was one of the worst. I used to love this game back in my youth, but surprised to hear that most people didn't. I also like the fact you performed the "get rid of Mothra" drill. I hated Mothra (in this game). However, he was surprisingly effective if you bothered to level him...or her... Wait did you die...and then undie----oh right, TAS...I forgot.
