any one who has a strat they think is to bright and don't want to spend silly money on new pickup's try fenders 57/62 pickup's they are[ as far as i know ] fenders lowest output pickup at 5.6K that alone does not mean they are not bright[ pickup's can be low output and still very bright] but they are very warm,soft and round sounding with a good amount of bass which should tame a very bright sounding guitar.and there is an answer to a question no one asked!?

GUITARISTS!! HEADLESS guitars are infinitely superior to normal ones (nevermind just the LESS WEIGHT). (But don't buy expensive ones, unless you get the cash. I paid $150 for ALL 3 of my headless guitars! BEST THING EVER.) Headstocks are DUMB.
I'm sorry, but "Young The Giant" is one of the worst band names I've ever heard. "Dick Flaccid & The Viagra-nauts"... now THAT's what a great band name looks like!
