I already heard this amazin song and I loved since the firs time but...today in this though moment in my life this song is much more special. Is trully amazing and inspiring.
At 4:05 where the drums switch up is an epic throwdown that people overlook because of Samir's beautiful vocals, lets not forget that the drums make this tune, along with the bass guitar. Often is the bass and drums forgotten and tuned out behind the vocals. The root of the music lies within these instruments
The base of any song lies in the rhythm, however a tune like this is forwarded and driven by the vocals. No musician would ever brand one part of the song as more important than the other because no song writer would ever put in irrelevant or unnecessary parts. Music is complicated and at times frustrating because the average person will never be able to understand the complexity and nuance of a song. But after all when you stop to admire something of beauty like say a tree, you never say "wow look how beautiful the roots are!" you say "the leaves are beautiful" however obviously the base and life of the tree lie in the roots. Can you dig that?

I saw these performing in San Francisco while I was there on holiday from England. I've brought back with me one of my favourite songs of the last couple of years and I'm sure to spread the music of YTG!
I only knew them as a"band with a hype song" cause of My Body. So, I went to an Incubus concert here in Miami and I didn't know they were having an opening act. Turns out it was these guys and I totally got sucked into their music. They were so.. idk , I'm not good with words but they had me and dancing about. Its cause of this song that I respect this band, this song came to me when I needed it most. It's beautiful and so is their passion. Keep on guys.
And so I run now to the things they said could restore me Restore life the way it should be I'm waiting for this cough syrup to come down - thank you young the giant!
