OH my goodness Danielle! Your mention of my channel just got me to reach the 2K sub milestone!!! I am so grateful & appreciative of you!!! Thank you so very much❤ What an incredible surprise to wake up to this morning! YAY🎉😘 XOXOXXOXO
The glass and metal piece is a flagon or carafe and the finial is a topped with a Georgian style cartouche. No chicken references in the design that I can see! It's lovely.
I actually been thrift store shopping for three days I’m done I live in Houston. I hit the store on Shepherd and Westheimer. I hit the store on Shepherd and 24th. I hit the store on Fulton and I don’t know Patton near Patton. I hit a small really nice antique store in our neighborhood that is nonprofit what else? I don’t know I hit so many but I’ve came back with about six items too. That our household use these massive mason jars that I will store. Dry beans one winter crock. Oh my God it’s adorable and what else? Oh I found an antique Mr. peanut jar. I don’t know a few things five things I came home with. I was really looking for a small wooden shelf but a small one.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 But I’m happy with what I got
The second clip. You put a silk scarf around your neck, then pass each end through the back part of the clip that forms a semi-circle and close the clip. Your scarf will remain in place. Silver is in. Try it before you paint it.
Danielle you picked up some cute things!!!!That little carafe is f ou r syrup I think!! Like the platter and all the other little pieces you found!!Enjoy!!!!😉
The silver filigree item with the round clip is actually a scarf clip. You pull the clip open, insert the two ends of your scarf, then style it, close the clip, and it will stay in place. I love the books. You will find much enjoyment in those.
*The platter is a beauty, Danielle...not surprising you bought it. Your clear glass etched carafe is stunning. Is it possible it is pewter? I can't tell without seeing it in person and touching it. I just knew you would purchase the resin reproduction Victorian boot; it is so realistic looking!!! 😊 If it were a little larger, in a size comparable to a size 6 narrow shoe, I don't think anyone would suspect it wasn't the genuine article, the details are so on point❣️😃 You'll get a lot of enjoyment reading all of the Victoria, Country Living and other vintage books - you found a treasure trove of information and eye candy❣️🍬 😁 HAPPY NEW YEAR to YOU, DANIELLE, and to GARRETT, your Mom and Dad, Lincoln, Jackson and your ENTIRE FAMILY‼️ I pray 🙏 for ABUNDANT BLESSINGS upon ALL OF YOU IN 2024 - ABOVE WHAT YOU CAN ASK OR SEEK❣️☝️🕊🙏✨️⭐️💜 ✝️*
🐊🤣 So random!! I saw and loved how you zoomed in on that red suit case. I have always l8ved the etched cut pattern on the pitcher/carafe. It's simple but so pretty. As usual, grat haul! 👍😊
Hi Danielle…such pretty pieces I can see paying twenty dollars for that carafe. I do think it is older because people just don’t do much etching on glass anymore…it looks like pewter and it is very beautiful…loved everything. Happy New Year and sure your channel will continue to grow. ❤❤❤❤
I've been in Europe for the past five years and realize how spoiled I am. The prices are 50-70% less than what they are in the states. Example that white platter would be 2.99 here. I'm a collector/reseller and have seriously considered request to pick for others in the US. I may be moving back in 2024 and have already decided I will make trips back here for lots of inventory. Now I just need to figure out the best shipping methods. I love that white platter and love the brooches. You have a good eye. I look forward to more videos.
Danielle, hope you and your family had a wonderfully blessed Christmas. The prices are absurd at the antique shop! They are not interested in selling. Thank you for taking us along. Have a Happy New Year and happy thrifting. 🎉🎊💚🎄
I loved that silver water pitcher for 10.00. I would buy that for $10.00. I use them all the time for flowers. Just clean out a mayonnaise jar,or something to put inside to hold the water. I wouldn’t want flower juices in interfere with the inside in case you wanted to actually use it for water.but, try it! You’ll love it!🎄🎄💕
You found some great things Danielle. I love your little boot and your Christmas books are always nice to have at the holidays for inspiration. You have such an eye for design and choosing just the right pieces for your decor. Love your videos!
You found some wonderful things Danielle. Love all the Christmas books. I have a 3 of those and they’re beautiful. The glass and silver carafe is gorgeous and love the boot. Happy New Year. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
I wondered that too, but would the inside of it be blackish like resin? Or pewter all the way through? Maybe it’s resin with a layer of pewter on top! Lol
Hi, Danielle .... Hope your Christmas went well. That was a great Thrift. Loved that Bronze coloured Birdcage you had a look at, priced $15. The oval shape was so unusual. As soon as I saw you looking at the Resin Boot, I just knew you were having that ! So many great items. May I wish you and yours a very Happy New Year 2024. Thank you for your time, effort and commitment producing the videos. Happy New Year, Lovely Lady ! Very best wishes ! 🎄🥳🎉🎇😘🎊🎆😘🇬🇧
You found such great treasures! I love all of the jewelry, the platter is beautiful and would have come home with me too! I thought you would pick up that Victorian boot. I think it would look lovely in a Halloween display. Tfs!❤
Very nice haul. The glass decanter reminds me of vintage glasses that I have that belonged to my mom or grandmother. The laurel leaf design seemed to be popular back in the late 40's or more likely early 1950's. Love books like you found too. But you didn't buy the vintage forks? Thought you would. Hope your Christmas made you happy. :)
Yeah, they don’t care because they have their 30% off antiques sale every now & then and people buy it anyways. They give away free food and clothing to elderly & people in need so at least it goes to a good cause.

I’ve bought 3 of those vintage dress forms on marketplace, each for $30 or less……. $150!! That just crazy!
Wow! I want one so bad but they are always extremely expensive!
For resin, that boot was very detailed and cute. Very pretty plater. Nice haul!

I can see paying twenty dollars for that carafe.

I liked the white platter also and the brass bird for $8 in the earlier part of the video. Will be fun looking through those Christmas books.

You do well when you go thrifting. I liked all the items you purchased especially the white platter. Happy New Year, Danielle.
The blue piece is spode grey dehli pattern...that piece should have had a lid.

Thank you so much! Happy New Year!
I wonder of the top on that glass piece might be pewter, it's a lightweight and soft metal. It has to color of pewter too. It's a lovely piece!!!
I wondered that too, but would the inside of it be blackish like resin? Or pewter all the way through? Maybe it’s resin with a layer of pewter on top! Lol
You always find such pretty things, I thought you were going to buy the black Victorian boot.
ALLIGATOR!!!

I thought the selection of doilies was great. I love vintage doilies. Some of those doll heads were scary looking.
Very nice haul. The glass decanter reminds me of vintage glasses that I have that belonged to my mom or grandmother. I have too many forks already but I was tempted! Haha
I thought you might be. You do have a nice collection though.@@HomeMadeVintage
For syrup
The prices of second hand merchandise is expensive as gold. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Yeah, they don’t care because they have their 30% off antiques sale every now & then and people buy it anyways. They give away free food and clothing to elderly & people in need so at least it goes to a good cause.
Thrifting for home decor is always irresistible! Thanks for bringing us along on your treasure hunt! We sent you an email, please take a look.
Lol that is not Flo blue!
Is it really that funny 😅
Puedes comprar algunas de esas cosas y enviarne a Ecuador. Yo te haría el pago.
Some lovely treasures, but the extortionate prices spoilt this video for me 🫤
Lol well I wish I could control the prices of all thrift stores! That would be wonderful..
