I hope so to Dale. I worry that it might not sell well due to the price point. More villains to fight and heroes to choose would be great. Maybe a new aspect as well.
I saw it for 90 bucks on Amazon, looks like a fun game but that seems bloody expensive since there is no figures in it - probably even more expensive than that for me here in Sweden. If an X-Men expansion gets announced I'd probably get it anyway cuz the X-Men are my favourites.
You should make the score numbers all white until someone gives it more than 8.5. The way it is now Iets everyone know it got a seal of excellence from the first score. Not a big deal but I like to be surprised by the ratings.
You are creating your own fantasy world here. Each person editing these has a different overlay for the ratings. I believe the yellow is Zee's method as it's usually the one used when he is leading the discussion: see the recent Imperial Miners, Moon River and Expedition to 5X reviews, all of which he led. (Mike is definitely green background with yellow numbers. Joey appears to be white background with black numbers and I think Chris is the one with the yellow lines and white numbers. My favorite is the blocky grey numbers that spin, which I think is Roy's. I'm recalling others but they don't appear as often and I don't know who all edits.) In conclusion, they are giving away nothing. Imperial Miners and Expedition to 5X only got Seals of Approval and the overlays are the same exact yellow. They are always yellow if the person who uses the yellow overlay is editing the video. I can't believe this got 7 thumbs...
Reminds me of Arkham Horror 3rd Edition for me. I gave it an 8, but sold it because it’s way too long for its own good. Only game I like that I’ve ever sold.
I think the issue is that since DC movies are so terribly bad, people's hype for DC heroes has been diminished by the movies' failure , hence developers might find it too risky to invest in a board game on an IP that is the laughingstock in the movie front of things 🤷
@@Kojimalosophy Yes, but the DC games seem to be based on the comics not the movies - maybe a licensing thing as well, not just the movie reception? DC Deckbuilder, The Batman Who Laughs Rising etc.
This game got unboxed in the same video as The Witcher: Old World. So I'm really hoping that game gets a review out soon. Would love to know everyone's thoughts on it!
I might have been interested if this was a teamplay game of heroes vs. villains, but I'm kinda burned out right now from all the comic book movies, TV shows, and board games that have come out in recent years.

The game is a blast. It’s just about 30 dollars more than it should be.
I really enjoy this game and hope it does well enough that they can have some expansions with more heroes and villains. :)

Dale! How are you dude? Miss your Champions playthroughs!
@@bn5055 Doing well, and hope you are too! :)
That "Don't check" at the end. LOL!!!
I was on board until you said it was 3 hours. There's no way I'm going to mix and match different characters to replay a 3 hour game.

X-Men mutant insurrection is somewhat similar and might be of interest to you (and is way cheaper).
@@CamObscura88 Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out!

@@kevinbhieey9188 You are quite rude for such a tame "mistake". Would have been enough to just correct the op.
3 hours?? oof
I took a double take when the game card came up with 180 minutes
It’s a campaign game. What’d you expect. Personally I love it

I just bought Marvel Champions, Marvel United and Mutant Insurrection.... Gonna need another shelf 😅
Sounds like you need to get Marvel Legendary too then 😉
@@CamObscura88well...i thought that a few years ago, but never did. Days ago i bought Sentinels of the Multiverse, i prefer that.
Nice! We're in agreement! :-)
How's the solo play work, since it says 1-5 players. Are you just playing 2 characters?
Yes.
So many Marvel games now. Comic fans desperately need a good DC game…

DC Superhero’s United is on GAMEFOUND now.
I have been enjoying this game immensely. It’s a very well made board game with an addicting gameplay-loop. Highly recommended for Marvel fans.

hm the graphics look very much underwhelming
Way too long of a playtime for my taste. Could have used more streamlining imo but I'm glad it vibes with others
As someone who loves campaign games I absolutely adore how long the games last
I mean well but my opinion I feel that this game is a mix between Pandemic Style Games and Storm Vault but a little different with it's own twist.
I might have been interested if this was a teamplay game of heroes vs. villains, but I'm kinda burned out right now from all the comic book movies, TV shows, and board games that have come out in recent years.
Especially marvel 🙄. Like maybe if this was DC I would be a little more excited but gosh I feel like we get so much marvel stuff.

Looks like Marvel Pandemic
Really?? Nothing about SW: The Clone Wars and WoW: Wrath of the Lich King?? It's looking mostly the same
Those are both Pandemic system games, they mentioned people drawing comparisons to Pandemic.
