It's actually the worst time to be a sneaker head retail price is insane and even when some of them hit outlets it takes a long time for prices to go down.
@romain198426 I haven't paid retail on a shoe once this year. People are unloading stock at below retail almost immediately after a shoe is released. I just bought a pair of the new oreo 6s on goat for $140.

Oh don’t get me started with Ticketmaster. That entire system is corrupted. Ticketmaster works just like eBay does with buyer sellers profits. They allow the scalpers to buy 90/% of the seats and then when the scalper sells it to the attended at the higher price Ticketmaster gets a percentage from that. And what makes that vicious circle continue are the sheep that continue to buy that exaggerated price for every show. Frustrating to know a ticket for a show is retailed for $80-$150 but resold for $800-$1k that’s just criminal.
Look the truth is its a mass saturation of jordans so we are jordan fatigued at this point.. to many of the same damn colorways to many releases i remember when you had to wait weeks or months for the next hot jays to come out. Now its damn near every week at 200+ dollars 100+ kids 85+ toddlers thats fuckn in sane

Selection paralysis. Great phrase happens to me all the time. My rules for myself are simple if I really like a shoe and it's sold out I'll pay 40-50 bucks above the original retail price. If I love a shoe and must have it I'll go double the original retail price BUT if they want one cent past that it's either forget about it or it's UA time.
Nike benefited from resellers all this time. Now that ppl don’t have the money to spend and the hype is over, Nike wants to take action all of a sudden 🤷🏽♂️

My ex manager made to much money at my last job and would just by sneakers every other day just cause. I know he is panicking right now . I was a shoe collector for over a decade. Started when i was a freshman in high school and throughout college, but about a year ago I stopped because every shoe drop was “limited” or a collab of some kind. Shops would even raffle off GR dunks 🤣🤣🤣. The artificial scarcity/hype these brands created started to become cringe to me. I been rocking chuck 70s all year and they go with everything! 🫡
