I just bought a set based on your table skirt smoothness. No, seriously, I just bought a set based on your review.

take the lights out, compare and show size, how long each lasts per charge, show flash pattern, show mounting options. This was too vague and a waste of time!

concerned with how HOT the light gets after extended use?
fine explanation. thanks. any road/traffic/trail nighttime/daytime use reviews?
Are You happy with the MOUNTING devices? Strong enough not to LOSE lights? Ease of USE?
The expert TREK MECHANICS at my local shop actually broke the real mount & had to replace THE HELMET, before I even got to monkey with it & fool with it myself. Confidence Bummer.

I like the video both of you gave out a lot of information regarding Bontrager bike lights my only complaint is you need to iron your table cover with the Summit Bicycles logo it !

Tell me about it. That thing wrinkles if you look at it wrong. I have personally tried steaming the wrinkles out with little success.

Have you tried starch or maybe changing your table cover material to something that is wrinkle free ?

I bought two sets one for me and my wife. My wife’s light has a red light on top of the power button at all times and mine doesn’t it’s kinda weird weird mine doesn’t ,so I am wondering if there is a defect in her light. My power button is lit with green and hers when turned on is lit red. Is there an explanation to that.

My rear Flare RT worked for 12 rides then died. Read reviews - very common, total waste of money. 12 months warranty, other quality manufactures offer 24 months (and dont need it).

Too much waffle and not enough information on the individual lights.

There is a very good reason not to buy the brightest lights. They can distort the vision of other cyclists and car drivers, making it more dangerous as they approach

Do other car's lights distort your vision when you drive at night? None of the lights we went over in this video are as bright as automotive headlights. Sure there's a point that is too bright and those products should see off road use only but we are proponents of getting the brightest you can given the scenario.

The larger brighter lights should not point straight ahead. The beam should be directed towards the ground at an appropriate distance ahead of the bike. Car beams work this way too. If they directed the beam parallel to the horizon then I would agree, but they are pointed towards the ground to not impair the vision of oncoming motorists.
