My god, 200rwhp for 6k list is a game changer in the after market for the SS! The blower guys are going to have to reduce their steep margins to keep up here. This is awesome!
This is to cemsengul16: it is possilbe to get and extra 200 hp gain out of this Turbo set up. But to get there you have build your transmission and maybe some internals just for more safety of the car, but if is possible to get there with that Turbo setup. Also on the gas efficiency, you are mostly correct. Staying out of boost will help also. Shifiting when you are not having to spool up will maintain your gas mileage. I am going to go with a procharger her in a month on my Camaro.
@EasyDoesIt86 As with any significant power adders, it only voids the "powertrain" warranty. Our Camaros (we have/had several for R&D) gone through hundreds of hours on the dyno, street, race track to give you the factory-like driving experience. 50-state legal to boot! We usually get a surge of turbo system orders about the time factory warranty expires :) Give us a shout if you have any questions.
@cemsengul16 It sure can! The 76mm Turbonetics turbo that's equipped on the Camaro SS kit is capable of handling close to 1000 HP. If you "stay out" of boost, you are generally able to achieve very similar to original fuel MPG. We can assure you that the gas mileage will be the last thing on your mind driving a Tubonetics turbocharged Camaro SS that's 50 state legal :)
@blaknite1 We recommend you to upgrade to a higher torque capacity clutch when the OEM unit wears out. The turbo system was designed with a stock vehicle in mind, so the drivetrain upgrade is not mandatory.
@ParisTNDude There are two versions of the turbo system. One is a complete 50-state legal system that includes everything with MSRP of 6995. The other one is a tuner system (identical to the complete system, minus fuel/ignition/tune components) with MSRP of 5995. Tuner system is recommended for offroad use or built engine setup. All Turbonetics components feature 1 year warranty.
Chevrolet produced a special 302 cu in (4.9 L) (referred to as 5.0 L) engine for Sports Car Club of America SCCA Trans-Am Series road-racing from 1967--1969.
Will I have to remove the front bumper to clean/replace the air filter, which was relocated? I'd want this kit pro installed as well, I wonder what the cost of installation at an authorized Turbonetics shop would be? Ok, one more question, with gas prices as they are, can the tuner adjust the car so it can run on the cheap stuff, or is this even an issue? e.g 87/88/89 octane. TIA guys
I would like to but this turbo for my car but do not have a mechanic I trust in my area... I live in Panama City Beach FL. Do you have any near hear that are A+
@TurboneticsTurbos If the kit "has everything you need" why do you say it "starts at 5995"? Is there any kind of warranty on the engine after install from turbonetics. IMO anyone who says they're going to "wait til the warranty is out" is not really interested in power increases...who's going to wait until their car has 100K miles on it to install mods??? In that time period, a Camaro owner is going to suffer hundreds of embarassing drag races with 5.0 Mustangs..to each his own!!!!
+Chris papi L99 400hp stock LS3 420. The LS3 package will probably come with things like cam shaft upgrade, clutch upgrade things that either should or are suggested be upgraded. For us the clutch is pretty important to upgrade when you're putting down power but so are other things.
the difference between the ls3 and the l99 is cylinder deactivation that lets it run off of 4 cylinders for mpg purposes. the l99 only comes in automatics and the ls3 comes with the manual....it makes slightly less power as well.....26hp at the crank to be exact....
Great question, we have not tried it on the late model L99 just yet. I'm sure that some of the piping would be different due to the newer style rack and pinion.
+bryant petteway track car is short for "uncomfortable as fuck!" Can't stand that stiff ass chassis/suspension lol. Your butt is in pain after each trip.
Hey guy. If you're still interested, I got a buddy down in FL that has a shop that does everything from paint to Kit cars. If you're serious, inbox me and I'll text him and send you his info.
Why does she say that the stock 2010 Ls3 Camarro SS goes from 365 horsepower to 560 when u add this turbo kit? I'll tell you why!! It's because they're false advertising and lying to you about what the car actually already has for horse power to begin with. They're saying it only has 365 horse which is wrong and 100 horsepower less than what the 2010 LS3 Camaro actually has and comes stock with cause it really has 465 horsepower stock. Look it up I know cause I own 2 of them! Nice try tho!
I'm willing to bet: that lady whom rambled off the specs: if asked the details, would have no idea and would fall on her face. Not saying a lady can't know exactly what she knows. Just saying... sounded totally rehearsed and memorized.
LOL, no to desinigrate them, and to all the 5.0 fans, you all do know that Cheverolet engineered and composed the 5.0 first and then ford bought the patene.

The dropping of the airbox scares me a bit...I live in New Orleans and its flood city over here : /
@96timmyy96
MSRP starts at 5995 for the Tuner System. Includes everything (and we do mean everything) you need to install in 12-15 hours.
TurboneticsTurbos could this be installed in my garage at home?
Even the programmer.....hmmmm

Finally someone makes a 50 state smog legal kit.
Awesome a girl is telling us the details to the turbo kit :D
I like to know what the cost of installation at an authorized Turbonetics shop would be?
thanks

@alcoholicmr
You can turn up the boost to higher level with supporting modification (fuel system and tune, etc.)
Go Benita!!! I got my turbo from her by phone, would have asked her out had I know she looks like this!
Let's get a poll going
Turbonetics turbo kit or pro chrager i1 kit. if you have a 5th gen SS which one would you go with
nice #'s, imagine freeing up exhaust & cat along with other turbo friendly upgrades.
@oha100
Unfortunately, we do not offer a turbo system for the V6 model Camaro.
What is too many miles on a motor to add one of these kits....
Yes, Im in NW florida, close to Pensacola
@96timmyy96
MSRP starts at 5995 for the Tuner System. You can go through one of Turbonetics authorized dealers to purchase one at a discounted rate!
she really spools up my turbo ;)
So I need more parts than just the turbo charger?
I wonder if the zl1 stock boost gauge could be used?that would be awesome.
Damn. ya what does it run??
From that chart it seems you have lower power unless you are high in the power band
How much boost?
How much is it for 2011 Camaro 2ss L99
Hi. Is there a more step by step instructions by your team? I’m in Denver. Where can I grab this product? Thanks
Will it work along with the SS4 Cam?
can i still put a cat back exhaust system on my camaro?
So is your system not recommended for modified vehicles?
Will I have to remove the front bumper to clean/replace the air filter, which was relocated?
I'd want this kit pro installed as well, I wonder what the cost of installation at an authorized Turbonetics shop would be?

So this kit will be smog legal in my LS3 powered 1980 Pontiac Trans Am?
Where can I order this kit???
I would like to but this turbo for my car but do not have a mechanic I trust in my area... I live in Panama City Beach FL. Do you have any near hear that are A+
is their a v6 turbo kit ? and if so how much?
what do i do to increase to approx 800 hp do i just change the turbo
@TurboneticsTurbos
Do i need to change the fuelinjectors and som other stuff or ...?
Anyone thinks that power curve sucked in comparison?
No, not at around 5 psi i don't.
Is there a V6 version??
The link isn’t available anymore.

Work for the L99 automatic as well?
How much?

Something wrong with that car, it’s 426 stock not 326
@TurboneticsTurbos
Will this kit work for a 2014 camaro l99
Great question, we have not tried it on the late model L99 just yet. I'm sure that some of the piping would be different due to the newer style rack and pinion.
the intro is alot like best motoring's and option dvd's intro. lol. "enter the...."
Wow!!!!!
@Shannon Kinchen
Ill just trade in my S for a Z/28 and keep the warrenty
that's pointless.The z28 is a track car plus a zl1 nor a z28 will be pushing 800+
+bryant petteway track car is short for "uncomfortable as fuck!" Can't stand that stiff ass chassis/suspension lol. Your butt is in pain after each trip.
Rudy Mechekoff, My 1LE car rides awesome and handles even better. I'd put it against a Z06 on the road course any day.

they are talking about HP at the wheels vs HP at the crank.
I never heard of a 2010 Camaro with an ls3 motor start off with 465 HP. That's all wrong

This slow crap I know some who has minor bolt on and is at @477hp @486
Assuming they are running 7lbs of boost I'd consider it impressive.
I would say there is something wrong with his setup.
