@@RPGFlare64 They decided to remake this one because it is the the highest rated game in the franchise and one of the most beloved Mario RPG so they want to give nostalgia
I personally believe this is one, if not , the very best of the very best touching endings in Mario franchise
And the fact that AlphaDream went bankrupt adds to that.

Actually, Nintendo took over the rights of the Mario & Luigi franchise, so it is possible we can get more games, but they'll hit different cuz it's not made by Alphadream..
I originally figured they’d give Bowser something for helping save the Mushroom Kingdom, but certainly not a full cake, hell, we’ve barely ever seen Mario get one. That paired with the soft music box at the end really made me tear up.

Mario did in Mario 64. It was Bowser's turn in this game as well as the original on DS
Mario actually got the cake in SM64.

Alphadream's last game before going bankrupt was a Bowser's Inside Story remake, meaning the Dark Bowser fight truly was a Grand Finale...

Its nice to see that Mario, Luigi, and peach at least care about bowser to a degree.
He might be their enemy, but the fact they gave him a good “thank you” gift for him shows how kindhearted they really are, unlike what SOME internet theorist think of them.

@@MOI-gc4ey Sorry for the late response, but for those who've already played the game, Dark Bowser was a dark copy of Bowser created by the Dark Star, after absorbing the DNA of Bowser inside of his body and getting back the dark power Fawful stole from it, the Dark Star became Dark Bowser.

@@lachlanjenkin1659 I just looked it up. He cries in multiple instances, and apparently, including the game that came before this: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. So, he does cry the same tears.
That ending is so lovely and it still makes me want to tear up even after so long. Despite all the bad things that Bowser did Mario, Luigi and Peach still gave him a cake!! They don't show his reaction to it but I can imagine Bowser tearing up a little in sadness or frustration. This was also the last game before AlphaDram shutdown so it all feels so much sadder. I'm glad they did such amazing games before that.

I really love the power struggle endgame of BIS between Fawful and the Dark Star, having both of them be equally relevant during the final battle and acting as a dark mirror to the game’s main gimmick just makes it that much cooler
honestly the final punch at 8:48 would've been so much better if the music cut off like how it does in the original

Tbf the only reason he killed Dark Bowser is because he wanted to rule Mushroom kingdom

Consider also that Bowser technically saved Peach. He went from trying to kidnap her (at the beginning) to actually saving her!

The detail of Fawful's face being marked in the background for the Bros segment could be showing the power of the core leaking onto the surroundings of life.
What would have been cool is if the dark star infected Bowser during it's time inside of him, and the infection would end up killing him. The only way to save Bowser would be to defeat the dark star, which could have added a lot more tension to the fight and give him more reason to fight Dark Bowser other than just to save and take over the kingdom.

Ya know, I don't really understand why people are upset about this game. How could anyone possibly top the original work? They were asked to remake the game, that's what they did. Yeah, it's not like our childhood, but this company tried their hardest, and you can tell with all these animations and art styles being so high quality, even if the original looks or feels and even sounds better. They still did their best, and I don't think the creators deserve the flack they get nor the horrid sales that caused their bankruptcy. If they were to ever come back or this game were to come back, I'd say port it on the Switch, and add an option to play either the original or the new one, or just add this game to a virtual console section at the very least, because damn it, this is still a really high quality and good remake for what they tried to do. It is never going to top the original, but it is still pretty damn good. 🔥🔥🔥
Overall, I think it is pretty much the same game, except I think the graphics do look better (not that the original's were bad in any way). Any minor changes don't make this really any better or worse because the core gameplay and story are the same. I agree that this remaster wasn't necessary, but both versions are still great ways to experience this game. In some ways, I would consider this better than the original because of Bowser Jr.'s Journey. I know most people don't seem to like it, bit is a lot of extra content that wasn't part of the original. I don't think any of the "new" content should make the overall game any worse.
My main problem is the fact they chose this game instead of partners in time which is the game everyone would prefer to be remake as that game isn’t as well liked as superstar gaga or this one

@@GojiredSakyubasu To be fair, AlphaDream DID plan to save Partners in Time for last when it came to remasters, but the budget for Bowser’s Inside Story’s remaster was SO GOD DAMN HIGH it drove them bankrupt.

You know you can use Broggy Bonker on Dark Bowser and conk him out with an excellent first turn. It's really useful.

though, its always with the brawl attacks. i defeated him with just punches and fire. Sure, i used bro. attacks, but i was in the zone with bowser. I WAS BOWSER - AND I GAVE THE DARK GUY A PEICE OF MY MIND WITH MY OWN TWO FISTS!!!

Tbh, they tried their best to remake the entire game. The graphics are good for what it is, and yea I guess it feels slower and more choppy with a lower frame rate, but this game is still good enough
If anything Bowser should be thanking them for making him stronger but being the jerk that he is being so stubborn and ungrateful he could never let go of that hatred of Mario and Luigi even if they were helping him but throughout the game maybe Bowser ain’t that bad of a guy

What’s does max rank on Mario Bro’s and bowser do?
It just let's you get better items.
From what I can tell, max rank gives them both all of the perks that you get after reaching a new rank.
Mario bros gives you the Excellent!! Badge, even stronger than the excellent! badge but you lose all meter if you fail to get an excellent strike. For Bowser you get the intruder fangs, they let you move twice in one turn, utterly destroying everything

@@offthebunnytrail6466 a flaw on all of the games, there's no post game stuff at all (unless you count the boss gauntlets as post game, but that's about it)
