Dont do this if your absolutley certain your pc can handle it. If your pc's limit is below the rams limit ypu at best, have crashes and blue screens every so often, and at worst it xan nrick your pc
Can you change your ddr5 ram speed on Dell g16? I bought 32 gig DDR5 ram at 5600Mhz but it runs at 4600Mhz. What am I doing wrong??? Not getting this change option on my Bios
@@JaiiBandz bru high ram speed is overclocking the memory module of the cpu so yes more heat. It depends if your cpu natively can support high ram speed if not it’s an overclock so it can reduce it lifespan but it depends how much you boost your ram
@@psychooww well if you have an Hp bios like me I don’t think there’s much you can do I tried looking all over never really figured it out probably need a different motherboard for a different bios or something like that but I’m no pc pro I just know my hp bios does not have that option sadly
It can void the warranty when the advertised speeds of your ram is higher than the cpus max speed. (Xmp doesn't look at the cpus limit)
How to do this with hp pavilion desktop?
Thx this helped

Your motherboard had to be rated to use that ram at that speed or else you're actually hurting your performance more by turning it up

Does this damage your pc
This won't damage your pc, it just impacts RAM temps a bit more. Perfect for more FPS and less input delay.
