Very nicely compiled video. It will surely help someone new to NI Komplete and music production in general. Great job! One tip for anyone looking to buy Komplete is to buy Komplete Standard first, then upgrade to Ultimate or Collector's Edition as and when needed (during Summer of Sound sale is the best time). Instead of buying a full version outright, this is a cheaper way to get to the version you want and more importantly it gives flexibility with updates/upgrades when a new Komplete version comes out. Komplete rocks! ❤
@RyanBannings No worries. Yes, but you can still see the bundle update and upgrade prices and calculate your effective cost. Komplete 14 Standard is probably the best Standard version in a long time, so you could start with it and then upgrade during sales.👍🏻
@RyanBannings the upgrade path shows up once you hit the buy now button. You'll be able to select if you want to make an Upgrade from Komplete 8-14, I think that's what you would choose in your case. There's an option for an Update which applies if you have Komplete 8-13 Ultimate.
Even better is to wait for the summer discounts. I bought the Kollector's Edition for a bargain. Now the price has gone up again and it wouldn't be so worth it, but I'm happy with the purchase I made.
Guys. If you get native instruments collector’s edition . Dont buy anything else similar to it. It covers everything. You will always hear about producers suggesting you to get these other libraries or plugins for pianos or strings however they’re lying. As long as you use them to their full potential you’re set for life with native instruments. Dont waste your money on buying all the plugins in the world. Just use native instruments everyday and over the course of time you will naturally use these instruments to their full potential. Native instruments is the top of the pyramid.
I like Roland cloud and some Mpc sounds are far superior I think it’s a rip off the ultimate I would just sub to Roland and native and probly splice all for $25 a month I mean you can rinse 1.7k straight up if u want lol but most people 25 a month is a great price for so much

Thank you for making this video! I decided to get the Freebies and stick to that for now. I'm a experienced music producer for over 5+ years and I must say using stock plug-ins and finding good high quality samples can take you a long way and even be the best songs or albums you will ever write.
The freebies are really great, and it sounds like it's the smart choice for you. And you're totally right about using stock plug-ins and good samples. The third-party stuff is gravy a lot of the times. But it turns out that I really love plugin gravy. Hope you can make some cool stuff with Komplete Start!

The sky really is the limit. There are so many incredible tools, the challenge is not drowning in them. Hope you have a lot of fun with the Collectors Edition!
Thanks for the overview! I'm a bedroom hobbyist with a little bit of gear (Maschine MK3 and just bought a used KK A49) and from the sounds of it, Komplete Now should have all I need for now. And if I need to eventually upgrade that'd be the Standard (as most of the Select is already included with my Maschine license; it was Select 12 though but it has most of the listed plugins)
Thank you so much for giving that feedback. To get any attention on UA-cam you gotta give it your best so I'm thrilled to hear you say that. And thanks again for subbing, every sub still gives me that this channel is doing some good out there.

Great Video, I’ve had NI since version 7, I have collectors edition 13, and just bought 14 Standard, great insight as to what you actually need and highlights of each upgrade👍
Thanks for watching! I'm really happy that this video could help you determine what's best for your needs. I think 14 Standard makes the most sense for most people.
Nice! I hope you have a ton of fun with it. And good luck with music production, it can be an insane learning curve at times, but I still think it's worth it. Thanks for watching!
Today I have upgraded from Komplete Select to Komplete Standard en I will never regret it. Special thanks (again) to you for explaining all so clearly and giving tailor-made advice for me and all other viewers!
Nice!! That's a great decision, especially during the sale. Komplete Standard is fantastic and probably all you will ever need from NI. Hope you have a lot of fun with it, it was great helping you out. Always feel free to reach out with questions.
Thanks for watching the video! I'd be happy to answer your question. I use Bitwig Studio, it's very similar to Ableton. I love Bitwig, I recommend checking it out.
Good summary, I started with a Maschine MK2 and just upgraded to Komplete Standard. There are plenty of great sample packs that need the full version of Kontakt so I'm glad to have it finally among all the other great stuff. Don't go any higher than this unless money from music is already flowing in!
I pretty much have everything might update this summer. Thank you for making an honest video. Most UA-camrs litterally make bias videos and arnt honest about what they’re saying.
Summer's a great time to update. NI usually puts on a huge sale around that time. And I love making these videos. I do try to keep them as helpful and honest as possible. I never want to bash a product, but I do want people to know what they can expect. Thanks for watching!
NI plugins are always top quality. I could never afford any of the Komplete bundles and now it wouldn't make any sense since I already have all the tools I need (and I'm actually getting rid of many plugins to simplify the workflow), although instruments are always welcome 😁, but as far as I know they don't have instruments-only bundles, do they?. Excellent video as usual Onesto!👏 💙
Yeah you're totally right. NI makes some great plugins, but like with most third-party plugins, they aren't necessary, just a lot of fun to use. Sounds like you have more than what you need, I can relate. Native Instruments doesn't offer an instruments-only bundle, but that actually sounds like a great idea. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in that kind of offer. And thanks for watching! It always great hearing from you!
Thank you for this wonderful and clear video on Komplete! I have my S61 controller and the Komplete Selekt. As a beginner, but not an absolute beginner, I'm considering to upgrade to Komplete Standard, since I get a great discount ánd there is a summer sale 'til begin of july. My question : Maybe I am still misunderstanding the difference between Kontakt and Kontakt Player. I thought I'd needed the full version to be able to use it as a VST in my DAW. But I just discovered that the player version just loads in my Komplete and I can use all the libraries that come with it! So, what is the added value for Kontakt then?
Great question, there's a lot of confusion around Kontakt, so I'd recommend checking out my Kontakt video: ua-cam.com/video/5flMENgDHxs/v-deo.html Kontakt Player is free and allows you to only play licensed kontakt libraries (so all NI Kontakt Libraries, and usually the expensive ones are licensed libraries). While Kontakt allows you to play any Kontakt Library licensed or not. Usually the free or really cheap kontakt libraries are not licensed. If you're thinking of upgrading to Komplete Standard (which I recommend especially during this sale), you'll get Konakt and a bunch of other great plugins. Thanks again for watching and asking. If you have any more questions let me know.
13 ultimate has most of the stuff featured in this video and is likely much cheaper on sale. I got it with a Maschine+ for the same price as the 14 standard bundle.
hi there. I was thinking to get kontakt 7 (to use some of its sounds with a seaboard) but I've seen that with 200€ extra I could get komplete 14 standard. The thing is that I am mainly interested in acoustic and classical instruments...I did'get if there are orcheatral libraries in the standard version.
That's a good question. Based on your question and interests, I think you could pass on the Orchestral instruments in Komplete 14 Standard. Standard does come with some acoustic and classical instruments, but the quality may not be there if that's the thing you're looking for. Ultimate edition however does have some better classical and acoustic options, but it certainly gets expensive at that point.
the list of instruments showed studio horns and studio horns pro, but when I checked out the before buy, the studio horns pro was not included, so that stopped me buying at the moment... its a really good deal but I wanted the pro horns the most...
Sorry that you're experiencing that. I wish I knew how to help. My best advice would be to contact Native Instruments. They are often great at answering any customer's questions.
Great question. With Standard you can make pretty much make whatever you want. The only libraries that you could do better are the strings and horns, which you would want ultimate for. The strings and horns in Standard are good enough though for many genres. You'd only want to upgrade those strings and horns to Ultimate is if you professional need orchestral instruments for tv/film/etc.
I had 11 ultimate and waited five years to get 14 collectors and I’m pretty stoked with it and also glad I waited this long. Doesn’t seem worth it unless you wait a few rounds
Great Video! If one is to upgrade from kontakt5 and let's say purchase the upgrade to Komplete14 Standard, could you choose to upgrade your version of Komplete later and just pay the difference in your version to the next upgrade? Also, would you need to uninstall your current version of Komplete and then reinstall the new version to save storage space? Sorry if this is a long-winded question, any advice would be appreciated! Just recently got a new computer strictly for Audio Production and am upgrading my plugins and the rest of my set up as well. Thank You for your time!
great questions, I'll do my best to answer them. If you buy Komplete 14 Standard, you can upgrade your version of Komplete to 15 or to a higher level, at a discounted price! The discount is usually significant, especially when a sale is happening. When it comes to uninstalling old plugins, you can always uninstall to save storage space. Kontakt libraries will always take up the biggest space. Effect plugins, and a lot of the "cheaper " instruments won't take much at all. But the more premium stuff, especially orchestral libraries take up a ton of space. For newer NI plugins it's a lot easier to uninstall these days. Log into Native Access and click the product and there should be an option for "Uninstall plugin". I notice that older NI plugins dont have that option however. Hope this all helps. Thanks for watching!
I bought the bundle with maschine......I think. I'm kinda scared I may have screwed myself. I have the hardware but I'm not sure about if i have the software....😬😬😬
Hey! That’s a great question, and I don’t think you need to worry about it. I’m pretty sure all Maschine purchases comes with at least Komplete Select. You should get a download code from an email or inside the packaging for your new Maschine. Hope you have tons of fun, Maschine is incredible.
Kontakt 7 is one of the many products that comes with Komplete 14 Standard. Komplete 14 is the bundle. Kontakt 7 is one of the products in the bundle. For a serious beginner I would recommend going with Komplete 14 Standard. The instruments and effects that you'll receive will cover many (if not all) of your music production needs as a beginner and intermediate.
When you get a s49 with komp, eve 14 select what’s the best option on upgrading they give you $50 free voucher too. Is it worth using that on something else then upgrading from a third party seller
I don't believe it has AI that does that for you. However, there's usually hundreds of patterns and samples inside every library. Hopefully that answers your question.
Electric Sunburst isn't in Komplete Select. It starts in Komplete Standard and up. check this page for a handy chart of what products are included in each bundle: www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-14-standard/compare/ Sorry about that!
For me the Komplete Now subscription is perfect because it has all the stuff I really want from Komplete 14 with not a lot of filler or stuff I don't need so it's not overwhelming. They narrowed it down perfectly, seemingly curating it for my particular taste. And it's incredibly reasonably priced for what it includes
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. It always means a lot. And I knew I'd make a mistake or two in this video, haha! But thanks for pointing that out.
Massive X didn't work on M1 Macs for the longest times. HOWEVER, as of 11-24-22, Native Instruments updated Massive X giving it Native Silicon support. It took a while but, they finally got there.
@@ThisIsOnesto that’s great man thanks for the update. also i saw someone else saying the horns pro etc aren’t the full versions in the ultimate version. Is that false?
I do all my editing myself. Trust me, I wish I could afford an editor, but this channel isn't making anywhere near what I need to pay an editor. Glad you like the editing though. I try to keep things moving, concise, and geared towards making complex concepts as easy to understand as possible.
What would have been good is Ozone Advanced with CE and Ultimate and Standard for the rest. Let’s face it - anyone who uses CE or Ultimate likely already owns Ozone and RX. I’m on K13 CE and already have Izotope MPS 4.1 with Ozone 9 Advanced and RX standard. I’ll likely just “upgrade” to K14 standard for $200 for Kontakt 7 and Playbox and wait it out until Summer of Sound to upgrade to K14 CE next June.
That makes a lot of sense. I even remembering owning Ozone Advanced at the same time as Standard. I think your plan to upgrade now for Kontakt 7 (sort of essential), and Playbox (a great tool that I really hope people adopt), and really going for it during the Summer Sale is a solid plan. NI's summer sale is is pretty big. I love it when music producers get smart about plugin sales. It's like a weird badge of honor.
Yeah you're right. That is weird. On the Maschine MK 3 Product page it lists that you'll receive Komplete 14 Select, but on S49, S61, and S88 it's listed as receiving Komplete 13 Select. I wonder if it's a typo on NI's part, or maybe they don't intend to offer 14 select on the keyboards. www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/production-systems/maschine/
I love this desk! It's from a small place in Spain called Audio Housing. It's their Compact 88 desk. And when they say compact they really mean it. The drawers push in a lot so it takes up less space when not in use.
Great question, if you just buy Kontakt then you can play any kontakt library like Noir or the bass. Komplete just gets you more Kontakt instruments. But you don't need Komplete to use Kontakt Libraries if you buy Kontakt.
@This is Onesto. Hi, great video,I’m a 54 year old ( former Dj),absolute beginner bedroom producer with Komplete 13 standard, and Live 11.Do I need Komplete 14 upgrade ? Also I assume you use a Mac? If so could you tell me exactly which computer monitor you’re using and if you’ve had any scaling issues? Got a new Mac studio and looking for a budget or reasonably price 27 to 32” monitor. Like your videos , precise ,simple and to the point .Keep up the good work. 🙏
Thanks for sharing your story! I'm happy that these videos can help at the beginning of your producer journey. Here's my best advice, I would consider komplete 14 if you see a handful of instruments that you really want. Granted there are a lot of new products between 13 and 14, but it's possible that's what's been released doesn't appeal to you. Another consideration is if you plan on mastering your own tracks. If you don't have ozone (a fantastic mastering suite), then that's another good reason to pick up 14. So do you need it? It depends on your desire and interest for what's new, and whether or not you want to start mastering with Ozone. And I do use a Mac, and for now I'm using a Samsung 27" 4k monitor. I'm not sure what the product number is but it's working just fine.
@@ThisIsOnesto Thanks very much for your reply ,sorry for my late response.Yes there are a few instruments I’ve seen but I may wait a bit to get more out of Komplete 13 as I’m in the process of narrowing down with computer monitor screen to buy( tedious process)with a tight budget and then will set up my new Mac studio.I’ve got to reinstall Komplete 13 standard then and Ableton 11 along with samples, long 😩but prefer a clean install I’m sure I’ll buy Komplete 14 ultimate at some point! Appreciate your taking time to give me and your viewers useful info, as usual keep up the quality good work.👊🏽
@@robertprimus9901 You got it! Sounds like. you have a ton of fun studio upgrades in your future, especially with the Mac Studio, that's what I want! I'm jealous!
Hi ! Thanks for the advice. I was wondering, if I buy Komplete 14 Standard, will I get a free or low cost update when 15 drops, or will I have to pay full price ?
If you get Komplete 14 Standard, you can update to Komplete 15 Standard or above at a discounted price. The discount is pretty big too. Thanks for asking!
Glad you thought this video was helpful. I believe you can upgrade from 13 without losing any of the plugins found in komplete 13. You'll still keep those. For a full comparison of pricing and what plugins are in each bundle check out this link: bit.ly/kompletecompare
Between those two, if I had to do it all over again, I would have stopped at Ultimate. Collector's edition is mostly if you want to own everything NI has, or if you really want to own every single expansion pack.
I'm not 100% sure. If I remember correctly, I believe the keyboards come with Select. But I wouldn't be surprised if there are sales that include Standard. Right now NI's summer sale is going on, so they might have a huge discount on Komplete 14 anyways.
@@ThomAdams nice! I think you're gonna love it, they've added a ton so it's well worth the upgrade price. I even failed to mention that you get some Brainworx Plugins and 2 vouchers for Plugin Alliance!
That's a great question. If you want to focus on orchestral music, I think I would recommend against standard. Komplete Ultimate is where you really get access to a lot of the great orchestral libraries NI has to offer. At Standard you'll only get a handful of orchestral libraries and the sound quality and range may not be enough. For orchestral libraries I would check out Spitfire Audio (especially their very affordable Originals) or Heavyocity. You'll probably notice that their instruments are expensive, but that's typically how it goes with orchestral libraries. I'm guessing because they're very expensive to make.
Orchestra you have to get Ultimate, if doing a big film production then Collection, because they give you the series version, of there orchestra, which is very expensive if you buy it separately!
I working on an animation short story series, so I originally had the standard which is good if you a producer making music tracks, however I decided I going to do some scoring, so now I going to upgrade.
Thanks! I was really happy with how this one turned out. And it was so much fun exploring and trying out all their products. Hope the video answered any questions you had about Komplete 14.
This could sound weird coming from a dude who saw ELP,YES AND ZAPPA 5 times each in the 70s..synth sucks and I have little or no use for it.. and rap and hip hop sounds awful too. I'm just looking for real piano, strings ..Great guitars other than acoustic..bass drums and real orchestra. Hope I get enough with 7/14
I get where you're coming from! For pianos, Native Instruments has some great picks like Noire. For the best strings I would check out Spitfire Audio. They have a lot of free instruments, some good strings at $30 and then their professional stuff that's $200+. Hope this helps!
Right now Im using Novation launch pad and keys and Logic. I seem to have plenty to play with. But NI just seems to have the really good stuff. Its really expensive Im not sure if I even need to upgrade. Sometimes limiting yourself can make you be more creative with what you have to work with ya know.. But damn is NI good. I think if I do standard would be fine, maybe add a few expansions here and there. But ultimate is probably too much stuff. Too many options.
I think you're right on. Getting too many plugins too early can overwhelm you and before you know it you aren't making anything at all. If you have plenty to play with, then stick with that, because it's already enough. And I also agree with how you would plan on upgrading. Komplete Standard is probably best, Ultimate is more for those who really want orchestral instruments.
@@ThisIsOnesto I got the same question right now. I bought Select in May 2023. And I think it would be good to upgrade now to Standard. (CyberSeason) BUT in standard I don't get all the orchestral stuff. And I am a huge fan of atmospheric beats. For example NF type beats. They are always huge, wide and got many many orchestral stuff in it. I am using FL since March, so I'm still in the learning stage. But I think a large library also helps you to create exactly the sound you need and want. It just fascinates me. Maybe I should buy Standard first and then decide in December whether to get Ultimate.
@@Inversible100 I love NF, so I know exactly what you're talking about. If you want to make beats like NF, than I think Ultimate has the instruments you're looking for, HOWEVER, since you're still new to FL I think getting Standard or Ultimate might distract and overwhelm you. It definitely overwhelmed me and I wasted so much time. I don't want that to happen to you. Instead check out Spitfire Audio Labs for a ton of free orchestral tools. But what I really recommend is Spitfire Audio Originals which has very good entry level orchestral instruments. I think you'd be interested in their epic strings: www.spitfireaudio.com/originals-epic-strings Or if you want a solid bundle you can check out the Orchestral Bundle: www.spitfireaudio.com/originals-orchestra?queryID=09c760ecc10e78d5f54a144b78b7f911&objectID=f839bb8faf50f74a1ee13f0af1d98abc951e72a21b881ae596b493229dd098f1
Haha, there's a reason why the Gentleman is in the Select Bundle. I think I feature it to help show off Raum and to show that there is a piano in Select. And Massive X is indeed incredible. I gotta make a video about it one of these days.
I agree. The Collector's Edition is not what I recommend to most users. Standard Edition is the best fit for most. I hope the video didn't come across as The Collector's Edition, or even Ultimate, is the one to get. Standard is a great place to start and even just stay at.
I think everyone should really just buy shit individually, Im at a stage where I know what I need, so I look into options. No point buying shit you will never use.

I could never afford any of the Komplete bundles and now it wouldn't make any sense since I already have all the tools I need (and I'm actually getting rid of many plugins to simplify the workflow), although instruments are always welcome 😁, but as far as I know they don't have instruments-only bundles, do they?.
Excellent video as usual Onesto!👏
💙
Yeah you're totally right. NI makes some great plugins, but like with most third-party plugins, they aren't necessary, just a lot of fun to use. Sounds like you have more than what you need, I can relate.
Native Instruments doesn't offer an instruments-only bundle, but that actually sounds like a great idea. I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in that kind of offer.
And thanks for watching! It always great hearing from you!
Komplete Ultimate is insanely inspiring🙌🏾the day I got it I was like a kid in a toy store😂
Nice! When I got it, it sort of felt like drinking out of a fire hose haha! Thanks for watching.
Great question, there's a lot of confusion around Kontakt, so I'd recommend checking out my Kontakt video: ua-cam.com/video/5flMENgDHxs/v-deo.html
Kontakt Player is free and allows you to only play licensed kontakt libraries (so all NI Kontakt Libraries, and usually the expensive ones are licensed libraries).
Ultimate edition however does have some better classical and acoustic options, but it certainly gets expensive at that point.
yep. Considering that at the moment I don't do that to make a living ultimate would be too expensive for me.Thanks man
I want the collectors edition so bad
the list of instruments showed studio horns and studio horns pro, but when I checked out the before buy, the studio horns pro was not included, so that stopped me buying at the moment... its a really good deal but I wanted the pro horns the most...
Sorry that you're experiencing that. I wish I knew how to help. My best advice would be to contact Native Instruments. They are often great at answering any customer's questions.
Which bundle was this?
Bought Komplete Ultimate. Couldn't afford mic stand.
Do you think with standard i can make ant beat i want?
Great question.
With Standard you can make pretty much make whatever you want. The only libraries that you could do better are the strings and horns, which you would want ultimate for. The strings and horns in Standard are good enough though for many genres.
You'd only want to upgrade those strings and horns to Ultimate is if you professional need orchestral instruments for tv/film/etc.
I'm a hobbyist and have Collectors edition for 13 ..will hold out
I think that's a wise decision. Komplete 13 Collector's edition is quite comprehensive already.
I had 11 ultimate and waited five years to get 14 collectors and I’m pretty stoked with it and also glad I waited this long. Doesn’t seem worth it unless you wait a few rounds
The only thing I wanted was playbox which is polyplex with chords. . I could subscribe for for about two months and get the itch out of my system.😀
@@Endlesssummer1 thanks for the caution. I still with using polyplex with my own samples
@@issiewizzie That's not a bad idea haha !
I just got select for half price. Hoping now I can just upgrade to standard at a later time when I have the cash
Don't worry, Komplete will get on sale so you can definitely upgrade at a reduced price.
Ok best deal out there to upgrade from select to standard help it’s confusing me lol
Great video. Thanks for walking through their product offerings.
You got it, thanks for watching!
The chords on the Electric Mint section are really nice!
Thanks, it's such a great sounding guitar so it's easy to have fun with!
where did you get the dreamsickle preset for Massive?
Great question! It's from the Faded Reels Expansion from Native Instruments. Thanks for watching.
The razor chord progression at 6:56 sounds soooo good man
I just listened to it again, and I thought it was a really simple and cool progression too! Thanks for watching!
Hey, what's the difference between Kontakt 7 and Komplete 14 standard and wich one do you recommend for a serious begginer?
Kontakt 7 is an older model.
Does Kontakt or Komplete Standard have an A.I. equivalent to EZdrummer or EZbass where it can build entire sections for you?
I don't believe it has AI that does that for you. However, there's usually hundreds of patterns and samples inside every library. Hopefully that answers your question.
Nice review and good advice!
Thanks for the comment and for watching! It always means a lot.
Is 'electric sunburst' included in Komplete select? I cannot find it out 😂
Electric Sunburst isn't in Komplete Select. It starts in Komplete Standard and up.
check this page for a handy chart of what products are included in each bundle: www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/bundles/komplete-14-standard/compare/
Sorry about that!
Thank you so much! Just bought standard version ;)
Nice! That's something I haven't taken a look at. But it sounds like it's a great match for your needs.
Is it worth upgrading from collectors komplete 12 to collectors komplete 14?
Thanks for that useful summary. I have just upgraded my standard 13 to 14 - looks great. BTW the Music Box is available in Standard.
Thanks for watching and for the feedback. It always means a lot. And I knew I'd make a mistake or two in this video, haha! But thanks for pointing that out.
I heard massive x doesn’t work on m1 macs. I wonder if that’s still the case
This is good production do you do it yourself or pay someone to edit etc
U were right after this I know exactly what I want and need
That's great, what'd you end up getting?
I was looking at getting the select version through the s-series keyboards and it looks like you get Komplete 13
Yeah you're right. That is weird.
On the Maschine MK 3 Product page it lists that you'll receive Komplete 14 Select, but on S49, S61, and S88 it's listed as receiving Komplete 13 Select. I wonder if it's a typo on NI's part, or maybe they don't intend to offer 14 select on the keyboards.
www.native-instruments.com/en/products/maschine/production-systems/maschine/
I accidently spent $2000 instead of $300, please can you help me? 😅
Dude, what is this desk? It's fire!
I love this desk! It's from a small place in Spain called Audio Housing. It's their Compact 88 desk. And when they say compact they really mean it. The drawers push in a lot so it takes up less space when not in use.
If I have the 13 ultimate and I upgrade for the 14 standard I’m gonna lost the others plug-in s and instruments??
That's a good question Larry! You won't be losing those other plugins if you upgrade from 13 ultimate to 14 standard.
@@ThisIsOnesto thanks so much I really appreciated it
i upgraded to collectors with the half off sale :-)
Nice!! That's seriously the best way to do it!
if I buy just Kontact and not Komplete can I still use noir and richenbacher bass, ect. inside of kontact or can I only use those if I buy komplete ?
If you have anymore questions, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer them.

This is a great info video. Because 14 is a lot more comprehensive. Is it possible to upgrade from 13? If so do you lose some of the plug ins in 13?
Glad you thought this video was helpful. I believe you can upgrade from 13 without losing any of the plugins found in komplete 13. You'll still keep those.

@@ThisIsOnesto Thank you for this.
Which one you use Ultimate or collector?
Between those two, if I had to do it all over again, I would have stopped at Ultimate. Collector's edition is mostly if you want to own everything NI has, or if you really want to own every single expansion pack.
@@ThisIsOnesto ok thanks for your guidance
Is it possible to upgrade from ultimate to collector ?
Yeah it is! It'll be at a discounted rate too.
So If you purchase the Komplete Keyboard, does Standard come with it or just Select?
I'm not 100% sure. If I remember correctly, I believe the keyboards come with Select. But I wouldn't be surprised if there are sales that include Standard.
Right now NI's summer sale is going on, so they might have a huge discount on Komplete 14 anyways.

@@Pokestir Yeah you kind of are haha 🙃
Would standard suffice if I wanted to focus on orchestral music

Great video
Appreciate the comment, thanks for watching!
I am like you, I am combo of all three! 😂
It's always great to meet a fellow plugin addict
@@ThisIsOnesto thank you! 😊 will be watching you
Right now Im using Novation launch pad and keys and Logic.
@@ThisIsOnesto
I got the same question right now.
I think you'd be interested in their epic strings: www.spitfireaudio.com/originals-epic-strings
Or if you want a solid bundle you can check out the Orchestral Bundle: www.spitfireaudio.com/originals-orchestra?queryID=09c760ecc10e78d5f54a144b78b7f911&objectID=f839bb8faf50f74a1ee13f0af1d98abc951e72a21b881ae596b493229dd098f1
Great review. Skip "The Gentleman". Trash. Massive X is amazing! Sampled basses are great.
Haha, there's a reason why the Gentleman is in the Select Bundle. I think I feature it to help show off Raum and to show that there is a piano in Select.
And Massive X is indeed incredible. I gotta make a video about it one of these days.
@@DeeKay68 Some plugs are better than others. 'The Gentleman' has basic

If you buy the Collector’s edition, you got cash and must be a paid producer/engineer. Shit is not worth that price tag for the average user
Ultimate was great collector sucked.
