      Joe Bobillo hey Joe, it’s the Insignia NS-BC115SS9 115 can beverage cooler, I see it at best buy for $229.

      @@TanDiego thank you for this video, as always very helpful. Question: Insignia NS-BC115SS9 is not meant for a built-in cooler (not mean for undermount) it is a free-standing cooler, is it still working for you?

    • @hollyfleischer2984
      @hollyfleischer2984 Рік тому

      @@jxstudiollc I’d also love to know if it’s still working well, but Diego mentioned he wanted it free standing in case it needed swapped out (and would be good in case repairs were needed). Smart thinking! I was about to create a more permanent fixture but am now rethinking the practicality of that.

      @@hollyfleischer2984 free standing cooler should work, but better to get undermount cooler which will have an heat exhaust in the front, and no heating issues for a little extra $$.

    This is exactly what the plan I had in my mind on how I want to do my project. Came on UA-cam to see other people's ideas on how other people do it. Looks like that's the best method. I like how you used a level to find where to put your support piece of wood. I 1as thing of just using my laser level but I think the ruler level will be easier and sufficient thanks!

    What you could do to make the circular saw cut straight is screw a straight scrap piece to the part of the cut youre not going to use. Then you just saw with the circular saw flush against that piece all the way down.

    Whoever is going to attempt this, keep in mind the OP did not use the correct fridge. You will need get a 'built-in' type fridge. What this means is that the fridge will have a front vent at the bottom or top so that it will not overheat. If you choose to use a fridge like in this video, you will need to give lots of opening around the fridge for proper ventilation or you run the risk of the fridge overheating and/or fire...

    • @TanDiego
      @TanDiego  3 роки тому

      hence the title "built-in," the fridge I chose works for me and my space, it has plenty of room for hot air... if any to escape. I can easily swap in a built-in fridge but thanks for contributing.

    Very Cool Tan!!! Quick question. You said you did not secure it so I'm guessing no issues with movement of the fridge when opening/closing door. Did you have any issues with the fridge overheating since the back is closed? Thanks and I loved "if I can imagine it I can do it"

    I’m a bit late to the party, but are you sure that fridge is meant to be countersunk like that? Most affordable mini fridges are standalone. You need a front venting fridge for this.

    • @TanDiego
      @TanDiego  2 роки тому

      yes I put in the description *** The standing fridge I used works for my space and it is not enclosed and it has plenty of room for hot air to escape, it is however recommended to use an actual built-in fridge with a vent from the front if you are going to enclosed the fridge. ***
