Hi, I really love the job you've done! Just wondering, how did you attach the bench top to the top of the bookshelves?

Thanks! There are just four small screws through the bookshelves into the underside of the countertop. Thankfully, I can get away without much because of the weight of the butcherblock, and how snug it sits within the jut-outs.

Awesome job. What paint did you use to match the Brimnes white color

Thanks- I took one of the Brimnes pieces to Home Depot with me and they color matched it on their machine. I can't seem to find the exact paint tag, but I have done it with several IKEA pieces and have had really good luck.

This was from IKEA, back when they carried solid oak butcher block.
