I'm just glad that Christian is getting ONE MORE MATCH for a World championship.
I was live for this show and we boo'd Christian so hard you couldn't hear a word he said
the oilers chant was so loud and strong, christian was struggling to talk over it xD
I had to wait for it to quiet down after Swerve told Christian he’d just quit, so I could yell, “Just Like The Maple Leafs!!” 😂😂
It was disgusting during RoH... Not only was the one fan ejected for sexually harassing Skye Blue mid-match, but a pack of drunks in 102 were watching the game on their phones, paying zero attention, and chanting repeatedly for the Oilers, during BOTH womens' matches, to the degree where the audience had to hijack it multiple times with "Women's Wrestling"... 🙄🙄🙄
That said, Christian got the response this time, that we gave Don Callis last July...
Bryan and Eddie have respect for each after revolution they shook hands with each and talked to each other during a video promo after revolution where Eddie said Bryan’s respect respect from eddies peers mean the most to him even more important than the fans
Oli Davis and Simon always miss important things then act confused.

I agree Mariah is becoming one of my favorites, character work is solid and in ring she does really well. She could use a little more polish but overall quite good.
I swear people are trying to overlook the women in AEW. Because Toni's match at the last PPV was an absolute banger as well. It was better than the Charlotte Rhea match everyone praises.
Such a banger episode, wasn't expecting anything and got impressed how they managed to keep on banger match along with developing every major storyline towards the ppv

Simon, the "story" for Danielson to be in the Anarchy match is simple.
1. He is basically TK's right hand guy
2. He has unfinished business with Okada who injured him and put him out for quite a while.

I would have given a down for Orange no selling a pile driver on Simba like he was a Road Warrior
As much as OC is a fucking two bit dork, no selling is an industry wide problem at this point
I don't think they are contractually allowed to give Orange a "down". No need to risk losing those box suites at Wembley in August.

AEW is the land of no selling 5’6”, 150 pound weaklings and the 300 pound monsters forced to sell to them.
@@originalhuggies9740 I think it has more to do with Simons wrestling career than anything else. Up and Downs became more a “Positive Pete” show once Simon started wrestling. Makes sense too. Him being security for AEW, working shows for Thunder Rosa, etc he doesn’t want to tick off a future opponent, partner or employer.
I feel bad to Serena Deeb, she is such a monster in the ring... but her promo skills unfortunately aren't winning anyone over... Then trying to put her up against a white hot Toni Storm isn't doing her character any favors. The match will be a certified banger though.
Serena should be a heel, not a chipper babyface telling people of her setbacks. I didn't know about the seizures and felt bad about her, but she just feels like a better heel persona.

I was halfway watching this segment when I heard "I don't give a solitary shit"... I turned around and saw Serena's soul leave her body.
Agreed. Her mic skills are getting better , and I love that she is getting a shot at the top title but against Storm she isn't going to get but so over.
Deeb is better as a heel anyways flip the script
They "announced" Kenny's announcement (TK style) without clarifying if he'd be live or "via satellite"; so a lot of fans expected him to be there live, like last week...
Don Callis is making the Orange & Trent storyline even better, leaving a slight cliffhanger of who'll join Don Callis's family
Callis stayed on commentary because Taz is getting knee work done.

@kimchi2780 I get that but his matches are superb and I don't wanna lose him but definitely just give him a mouth piece shit I love Oc but if you think about it he barley talks I get its his gimmick but that can't count as mic skills an he one of my top 5 talent at last for my favorite.
@@DbpLukcyAgree. I would love for Buddy to win it but not in the cards it looks. I'm still waiting for someone to win it and do a tour to other promotions. Hopefully they do they with Osprey. Defend it at Revpro and Impact.
Mariah May is quickly growing into one of the cornerstones of the division. She's great, really fun to watch in ring and with her character work.
Trent's piledriver on the steps nearly turned into a shoot driver; his foot slipped off the step while lifting OC, good job he stabilised himself before dropping...
Eddie is the best!! In terms of Eddie and Bryan wasn't there clips post there match when Eddie/Bryan was getting dr up and they shook hands and embraced?
I like Harley Cameron, crazy and hot, is a dangerous combination. Watch her Hey EW, she's funny and charismatic too. I hope they continue to use her well.

I loved this Dynamite, it gets a golden up because I was there! I held up a give me an up sign during the Serena Deeb promo.

I know its old news, but has Simon commented or reacted to the fact that WWE 2K24 has signs saying "Give This An Up" and "Give This A Down" ??
Simon, if you would have paid attention, Danielson "respected" Eddie after the last match and put him over. He also did an "emotional " backstage segment with him after the match, in the trainer's room.
You say that it was like the audience wasn't listening to Deeb, and you're 100% correct.
Too many of them were consumed by the Edmonton Oilers game, which didn't even start until the overrun did, with close to half of them leaving right after Cope's win...
I remember the days when an exposed turnbuckle was a knockout shot... good times. AEW in 2024 no-sells an exposed turnbuckle quicker than Austin Aries rolled out of the ring after a Starship Pain in Impact. --- How are we supposed to believe a flying hug from Copeland keeps people down longer than hitting your head against a hard piece of metal? RIP Kayfabe.

I get that Simon isn't in the studio and I'm just thrilled down to my tooties toes for him touring with the Show. That aside- My playback made it look like he was covered in blood... I was worried.
Fair play to AEW, it does feel like they’re finally starting to listen to the criticism and are adding story to their matches. Hopefully they continue to get better and better!

Mercedes has got to join the elite and a returning heel hangman would complete the elite, A fued with serve down the line which could end up with serve v ospreay at Wembley with the elite screwing serve over, it's a great way to keep serve in the main event mix and also pushes ospreay to the top, bring it on!!

At this point, Swerve Strickland may need to recruit Shelton Benjamin, ACH, Elijah Burke and Darrell Mason to AEW, as backup.
I hasn't see a defending World Champion Babyface, that's over with the fans, and gets attacked and pretty much beat down on a weekly basis, since 1990s WCW Sting.

What's bad is there are very few women who are really good and Serena is imo the best at AEW and she just can't seem to get a hot streak going
She just returned she was out for a long time with medical issues.
I think we should pressure Tony Khan to do a brand split cuz so many talent are being underused and a brand split would help that a little bit

The most logical thing is to utlized Ring of Honor, you know, Tony Khan's other promotion. Half of the AEW roster gets drafted to ROH.
@@Mr.Majestic77 nah ROH isn’t nearly as big as AEW and they don’t have a TV deal if I’m not mistaken so that would be a mistake, I think ROH should be treated as a developmental for AEW and currently a couple wrestlers are in ROH which I think in a year or 2 will be in AEW full time so I think it’s sort of a developmental
