I hope Ricky Starks returns to AEW TV. I hope they do a story, that Chris Jericho had Ricky Starks blacklisted over some minor incident. Then have Ricky Starks, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara and Hook team up to force Jericho into retirement.
If MJF heals up in time, maybe he can join in on this jumping too. "The New Pillars", I can see this faction staying intact for _two weeks_ before it splinters-- but it just needs to stay alive long enough to jump Jericho out
Starts contract is up in June, so you gotta hope he even stays

I don't think in it's current state ROH will get any kind of TV deal unfortunately.

I don't feel like they said anything. Ok so a deal will happen? I'm not even a AEW fan per se but more wrestling is always a good thing because it offers more opportunities for talent so WWE doesn't have to be the end all be all for their careers.

I grew up about two hours away from Vegas. The strip loses its luster quickly

@@derrickmcmullinas an Orlando native, who has lived here for 40 years, I know all too well what you mean. Disney, Universal, the "attractions" are something you do once as a kid, and then once when you have kids. The House of Mouse loses all of its shine when you get too close. I've been to Vegas and Reno a few times, and I can see how the locals would just kinda be over it all. It doesn't help that the tourists all seem to be pale, misshapen, and smell like foot soup.

I just want to be able to stream AEW. I don't watch anything on TV and cannot justify spending $70 a month just to watch wrestling. I cant imagine I'm alone in this. Putting it on a streaming service would bring more eyes to the product imo.

I live in the tropics and am dressed almost exactly like Hamflett. Warm weather generally comes with short pants and t-shirts. Couldn't tell you how to dress in the dreary, depressing northern latitudes. I haven't owned a proper coat in decades.
NWA/NXT would have been great a couple of year ago when they had a better roster, but any chance to get Silas Mason in front of a larger audience is a BIG WIN!

I'm not sure how PPVs work when in a streaming platform already (I don't really watch WWE on Peacock besides old ECW and other stuff like that)
WWE doesn't do PPVs anymore. They do PLEs, and they're free with your Peacock subscription. Just tune in when they air. That alone makes the subscription worth it.

I am the opposite about tournaments. When it was a one night event you knew that you were fairly unlikely to see any real bangers.
By spreading it out you can have more great ones.
Gives individual matches time to breathe and - importantly - for stories to develop and be given weight. Telling stories within stories vs rushing to tell just the one
Big AEW fan here: Ricky Starks would make a heck of a NXT/wwe superstar. However, i personally wanna keep him on AEW because he is so dang good! SO I hope AEW pushes him and not have him in the back burner. It would suck. He definitely is a singles star that doesn't need to be in a tag team to be great. Give him a manager, turn him heel and watch him blow up! He needs some singles gold again. I say the intercontinental title sounds great for him! I personally believe he's a better champ than Roderick Strong.

It'll be announced next fall last year this year it'll be announced next fall. Discovery either sign them or shut up or don't. LOL! 😂 I'm a fan of AEW but I do not believe Discovery is being genuine if they're telling us to wait till next fall when they said that last year. By doing this they're making the company that's asking for a TV deal look like a more legitimate company than the people giving one out. This is not making me have a negative opinions of AEW just Discovery!

I'm no longer an AEW fan, the 1st 2 years were amazing but now it's not for me but I hope they get a solid deal, more promotions means more wrestlers get decent employment and AEW while not being on the level of WWE they are a small amount of competition which is good.
