My wife has had two now. 1st one when she was 31 and two weeks ago at 50. Love for you two to talk.
This is frightening and as an experienced RN (but not in cardiac) I can understand why the ER nurses felt as they did about her. But I learned long ago that what seems unlikely will happen to a patient and we as nurses better believe it! When a patient tells you they’re having a heart attack THEY ARE until clinically proven otherwise!!! Listen and believe!
One of my friends said that they were envious of those in their twenties as apparently they have the whole of their lives ahead of them and I had said how its not guaranteed that those in their twenties have their whole lives ahead of them as someone I knew died of cancer when they were only 27.
I had these symptoms 4 times over and the hospital didn’t think it was a heart problem at all ..
I hope it never happens again by MAKE then listen and examine you immediately. You will have to.
This just happened to me in April - ended up with a double bypass. Thanks so much for sharing your story!!
