Good and all, but i would recommend PTFE Grease for the metal-on-metal parts of these guns. Sticks for longer, better glide and doesn’t grease the rest of the gun.
Good job, only thing I would change is not to get any oil or grease in the hopup chamber. The reason being that if any oil or grease gets in the rubber, the bucking wont have any grip on the bb as it passes through. Resulting in decrease in accuracy because there is no backspin.
Good video, only thing i would say is to be careful spraying near the hop, might want to clean the barrel afterwards. I find silicone spray perfect for GBB pistols. Some of my friends use gun grease for slides but i find the silicone works fine.
@@michaelbisping6161 it's the hop rubber or the whole chamber as it is not rubbing on to anything. You should leave it dry for it to grip the bb and provide backspin
Helpful video, one criticism would be that the sound levels for the video are absolutely awful. I had to crank my speakers right up for you to be audible.
Yeah, I'm actually revamping my entire set up with camera, sound, and editing software. So my videos will have a much higher quality across the board coming real soon.
Is imperative that you do this very often if you run propane with no silicone oil HPA of CO2. I like green gas does not have silicone oil. Of course you still need to lubricate its but you're going to do it more often with those three gases. I know you can get co2 caps that have silken oil in them but they're more expensive but you should use them every fifth mag. For HPA there's no other option. If you run propane I recommend mixing some silicone oil in the propane. Family doctors have a video you can fill it up with silicone oil. If not just put 1-2 drops down nozzle.
Think of a real firearm, it needs to be cleaned and lubricated before use to work efficiently. I would apply that concept here for longer life on these airsoft guns. Great question!
@@MaxCherepenin I just got my green gas and gun, is it possible to shoot the gas and gun with no pellets just gas? Because I fill the magazine and shoot once and it just slides back. its a WE Big bird m&p gas gun :)
Nice! You can but I would not advise to do too much dry fire. In most cases these guns come pretty well oiled up new so maybe after each use, you can clean it up and oil it up for next time.
Even with a fully loaded mag? It should only lock back when it’s empty. Either the magazine is defective or maybe something is causing the slide catch to prematurely engage when it’s not suppose to. Do you have another mag to try it with ?

pheesh which part is the hopup
@@dylanlew9628 the part that looks like a little pipe with a little block device at the end
@@andrewkennedy7632 lol, a bit late of a reply, I think I know what a hop up is by now tho, ty

thank you! yeah i usually wipe everything down after and i wouldnt really want to use anything else other than the silicone oil.
What is the hop
@@ryan5941 I think it's the red thing
In my opinion silicone have noting to do with metal to metal contact better use silicone with rubber parts and moly grease for metal.
Nice tutorial helps a lot. But I think you should leave the hop rubber dry
Hey I’m new to GBB what would be the hop up system which you said not to spray?

Oh and by chamber I mean the whole hop up system. 😉
Great help fixed my pistol
maybe clean up old lube first? lol
Very helpful thanks

Thanks for the feedback, currently working on investing some money in better audio. Thanks for watching!
No worries. Depending on which mixing software you use, you may be able to resolve issues with audio levels there.

I got a paintball gun ezcept they made it look like an airsoft gas blowback co2. Look up t4e g17gen5 is it the sames material to use the grease??
Complete " over lube" , you do not never lube the hop !!

i heard in other videos that i need to use 100% silicone oil and nothing less. Is that true and if so how do i check if it is 100%
Never oil the hop up and you put too much silicone on the slide rails.
My gun won’t fire and I’ve done everything right they just drop out
We're can I get the silicone oil
Can we use WD40 to lube ?
No. You need to use a quality silicone oil.
Yeah i would use silicone oil only. Thanks for watching guys!
Just to clarify, WD-40 isn't actually a lubricant which is why you can't use it.
Nice p226 btw!
how often you need to lube pistol?
Depends on the usage really. You can also tell if the slide doesn't cycle smoothly. This will be a good time to just do a field strip and check.
I want a bbgun
Sabrina Griffith Then, buy one,Cheap ones are low as $10
my airgun blowback is not coming back alone, heavier than normal, it's lack of lubrication?
It could very well be the case. Maybe field strip to make sure there is not other contaminants blocking the rails.
If you don’t lubricate your gun at all would it stop shooting
Eventually yes
Yo
How often should this be done?
I would say check it out on monthly intervals. It depends on usage as well. If you use it a lot, then maybe check it out more frequently.
Max Cherepenin ok thanks bro
Could I use wd40
I probably would not advise too.
No. That will ruin the rubber parts and also the plastic parts. Use only silicon oil
Would you like to sell any of your guns
no
Can't hear you!
Turn on your volume 🤦♂️

Great tutorial but your pistol is ugly

I think that is to harsh of an oil silicone oil works great
