I found the Turret Control computer before finding the Behemoth. So I activated the turrets and let the turrets wipe out the Talon merc and the Behemoth. Great thing about that room - you can fire into the room but the Behemoth can't attack you.
I'll admit, when I found the Capital I didn't realise it WAS the Capital. I entered through a different way to the mall and only saw Talon Co and Muties so I didn't think much on it. I love Fallout 3. It was the first Fallout I ever played, and it made quite the impression. Although, a few improvement ideas: - Settlement building - Weapon Mods/Armor Mods - More Weapons (Like pipe gun, and melee weapons)
You know as soon as I started watching ox horn I started hearing his voice in my head while playing fallout then I start viscously searching for lore we all have a little bit of oxhorn in us
I don't remember the misadventures from the game, but as a young teenager, I lived just 6 blocks from that building. I would drink some beer in the bushes on the grounds with my buddies and go inside to explore. we ended up in places we shouldn't have been in and actually got kicked out a few times. Security actually got to know us by name. MAN! those were good times!
Only time i left my hometown was a school feildtrip to dc. I was playing this around the same time. The reflection pool, museum of history and the monument were all iconic. Was wild playing thru a warzone a few weeks later😂😂
One thing I've often wondered about fallout is the fact you can find bottlecaps in pre-war places that haven't been explored before (not the case in this video, but some you've done have been good examples). I mean yeah I guess you would expect to find bottlecaps in garbage and stuff, but I've seen you find them in weird unusual places like shop tills. Its just something I've wondered about occasionally.
One of the best reasons to do a stealth/sniper build in this game is to watch the battle between Talon and the super mutants on the stairs of the Capitol. The winner seems to vary, too.

Could you do a Fallout Lore video on the Wilson Atomatoys company in Fallout 4? You only did a brief overview of it in your Toymaker video but never did a full lore video on it. Please?

Yesss! More fallout 3 lore! Love from your friendly annexed neighbours to the north.
I wish Bethesda remastered fallout 3 with the fallout 4 engine instead of making fallout 76
Or at least gave support to the modders doing it instead of shutting it down.
A team of devs are remaking NV in Fallout 4s engine, it's impressive so far.
I'd rather they stop using that ancient mess code they call a game engine and either use an engine from one of their other studios or make a whole new engine.
4s engine? Lol you mean skyrims engine. 4 looks like shit.
Kody Stewart But they didn't shut it down. They didn't have the rights to the voices in the game anymore. The modders should have asked the actors instead. But the modders still decided to stop.
I found the Turret Control computer before finding the Behemoth. So I activated the turrets and let the turrets wipe out the Talon merc and the Behemoth. Great thing about that room - you can fire into the room but the Behemoth can't attack you.
Those beds at 4mins are my fav 'base' location. Can fast-travel right beside it, vendors nearby, enemies rarely respawn, and the containers seem safe.
I gotta say I love coming back and re watching these
I'll admit, when I found the Capital I didn't realise it WAS the Capital. I entered through a different way to the mall and only saw Talon Co and Muties so I didn't think much on it. Also My boyfriend just shared the song list of F76, so happy Mr Sandman will be included on the radio.
Great vid as always Ox.
Why'd you lose karma killing the sentry bot?
I was wondering about that as well.
I think like the turrets the bit was friendly/neutral and attacking talons... I could be wrong there, Oxhorn shot it before we could find out....
I think the caps and toy car in the conference podium represent bribes and corruption...
Kartoone I thought it was a joke about some politicians at the time of the game being childish or stupid
Senty Bot was the tax calculator....I guess, when the Government need Taxes, it doesn't joke around...
22:34 “Until rounding a big concrete slab”
Super Mutant : RRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
On break and will only be able to see about 20 minutes of this. Thank goodness I get one more break in 2 hours so this is gonna get to me
The Title takes on an entirely different meaning now.....
Oxhorn: Gives actual, factual information about our nation's past history.
Me: He He Cockburn.
Well this aged great, didn't it
Lmao it turned into a literal war zone
Instead of mutants and mercs it's MAGAs and Govs
This aged interestingly 😂
I love Fallout 3 SO MUCH.
I love Fallout 3. It was the first Fallout I ever played, and it made quite the impression.
Although, a few improvement ideas:
- Settlement building
- Weapon Mods/Armor Mods
- More Weapons (Like pipe gun, and melee weapons)
"This place sucks!"
"Clovers not having a good time, apparently!"
Oxhorn, mate, when does she ever?
You know as soon as I started watching ox horn I started hearing his voice in my head while playing fallout then I start viscously searching for lore we all have a little bit of oxhorn in us
"Oh a hovering lazer rifle. Thats interesting"
The Title has two meanings now
😂 I was surprised more comments weren't saying anything about it
The first 10 seconds and im already in awe. Zoom in on a location is a huge improvement
anyone else watch oxhorn and also explore the areas hes covering in the video
Yep, I do it as soon as I get home.
Only time i left my hometown was a school feildtrip to dc. I was playing this around the same time. The reflection pool, museum of history and the monument were all iconic. Was wild playing thru a warzone a few weeks later😂😂
31:23
Classic Bethesda experience.
When i got there i found a battle between super mutants, talon company and the Enclave. Pretty cool. And i didn't know the Enclave did bombing runs.
'These Talon Company were prepared for anything!' ... except oxhorn 😂
31:25 truly the fallout 3 experience
One thing I've often wondered about fallout is the fact you can find bottlecaps in pre-war places that haven't been explored before (not the case in this video, but some you've done have been good examples).
I mean yeah I guess you would expect to find bottlecaps in garbage and stuff, but I've seen you find them in weird unusual places like shop tills.
Its just something I've wondered about occasionally.
They might have been collected by pre-war Americans for there novelty or for premotions much like we do with boxtops.
Probably just more work than it's worth to go through every container in the game to make the contents lore friendly
It'd be a nice touch though
One of the best reasons to do a stealth/sniper build in this game is to watch the battle between Talon and the super mutants on the stairs of the Capitol. The winner seems to vary, too.
Is there a Fallout 2 series coming up soon?
Fallout 2 is massive. If he does what he did what he did with Fallout 1 and get all of the footage before hand, it will take a while.
I hope so, it's my favorite Fallout story.
I recall him mentioning he may cover it after he has covered Fallout 76 since it's currently more relevant. I agree though, I would love to see him do Fallout 2.
Can fo2 be played on a console id like to play it but my laptop cant even ha dle running diablo 2 so i doubt itll run fo2
@@dumdumdumbest834 rly? Fo2 is an isometric game, i guess even commodore 64 would run it.
Always loved this portion of the game, I was born in Takoma Park and served in the Navy at Bethesda Naval Hospital during Desert Storm, So seeing all of this is bringing back Memories. My favorite fallout by far.
PS, Companions? I'm sure you understand why I never have any, as I understand why you do for content lol.
Nuke proof chandeliers, what a classic
The scaffolding could have been pre-war general maintenance that happed to be around the area that collapsed post war
They would put whiskey in their coffee. Rumor is they used to do it a lot
Seeing all the supermutants makes me want a lore piece on Fawkes, I haven’t found a video from Oxhorn about that yet
oh dear god that title didn't age so well
They flying super mutant was just perfect.
Could you do a Fallout Lore video on the Wilson Atomatoys company in Fallout 4? You only did a brief overview of it in your Toymaker video but never did a full lore video on it. Please?
Oxhorn, I love how you are teaching US History along with Fallout lore. You would make a great teacher, sir. My kids would be riveted! You deserve the recognition you receive.
In my game the super mutant were attacking talon company and enclave
I find lores an try to piece everything together just like you but I rather watch your videos cause you explain everything so easy.
I played this game all the way through and never saw this, wtf.
I always loved exploring the capital building in Fallout 3 it is the longest "dungeon" in the entire capital wasteland.
it's tripping when a fallout game takes place where you live , like i just passed by the capital this morning
Biggest reason this is my favorite fallout game.
Right I'm from Vegas my self
whoops meant to say trippy
Well I’ll never get a fallout game with my home philippines
ItsSeanHere Boi true if they ever make a fallout game outside the u.s it would probably be china or canada
Legend says that super mutant's corpse never stopped flopping around in the dome.
lol.... right now
"Hey Ox, how much ECP ammo do you go through?"
Ox: yes
Good timing
The funnest party in all of the DC wasteland. I love this total warzone. My belief is the Enclave secretly hired Talon Company to try to take the Mall back.
the game that shows what washington D.C looked like before the war of 2077 The games called Splinter Cell Conviction
35:24- booze scrap and junk... I don't know about you, but I think we have a new hit song in the making!
It's crazy how people travel all from around the world to see DC. I live a half hour away and have even worked in the DC METRO, and I can say it's nothing special. Just alot of traffic, people walking around with their air pods in, and overpriced everything
Cities suck I prefer trips to more rural areas
@@sheogorath2657 Prefer unknown areas not visited by tourists.
I mean you could say the same about any landmark in any country if you live there it will be seen as just something common for you not something special
1:35 that hammer trick though
